Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

@HashB oh my gosh me too! The worst constipation I've ever had! 😂 I've upped my fibre and been having a few sachets of fybogel a day and still struggling! I've got morning sickness too and can't physically eat anything till lunch time - normal breakfast is my fave! Seems like we have similar symptoms, have you tried fybogel?
@jamontoast2 I've had period cramps on and off too, I think it's quite common 🥰

HashB · 07/06/2023 07:39

@Harriet669 i went to a pharmacy last night and got given luctolose. I got the dose confused, took a bit too much and wow…it was a busy night. Let’s just say it really works!

Pastaf0rbreakfast · 07/06/2023 07:51

Thanks for sharing your test pic @babyD20 im
feeling a bit better about line progression now at 16dpo, I’m 4+5 if I go by my last period but reckon I’ll get put back a day or two as ovulated on CD17/18 I think. Will
post a pic of tests.

I’m starting to feel a bit pregnant-y, not really sure what I fancy to eat, tiredness. I looked back and started to feel nauseous at 6weeks last time and started being sick at 6+6 so hoping I last a bit longer without it this time!

Due February 2024!
ttcat37 · 07/06/2023 08:07

Hi ladies, could I have some advice from women who’ve been pregnant before?
I got my bfp at 9dpo. I’m 4 weeks today. Pretty much since then I’ve had this fairly constant mild pain around my uterus. Not cramps, perhaps like a really mild period pain. No bleeding and my tests are getting stronger. Is this normal?

Harriet669 · 07/06/2023 09:07

@ttcat37 congratulations on the BFP, I think quite a few of us have had cramping and back ache so I think it's quite normal 🥰

@HashB I might give lactulose ago then as I'm still struggling! I'll check the dose too 😂

ttcat37 · 07/06/2023 09:18

Thank you @Harriet669
The lower back pain was what made me test!

Hope you get the constipation sorted!

Harriet669 · 07/06/2023 09:34

@ttcat37 it was the lower back pain for me too! And thanks! 😂 honestly did not expect this to be the issue 😂

mashm24 · 07/06/2023 09:51

@ttcat37 yes I've had this with both my pregnancies now. I think it's everything just stretching out ready for bubba x

thank you @mashm24, reassuring to know it’s not something to worry about.

👋🏻 baby due date 13th February!
After mcc in January and had ovarian cyst (4cm) found over a month ago we by a big surprise tested positive this week!

I'm so anxious after mcc, and now the bloody cyst! Also been doing Proov tests for couple of months and they showed low progesterone - so I got myself private appointment tomorrow to hopefully get some progesterone.

Also really bad lower back pain here at 4+2! Hopefully good early symptom?

4JM · 07/06/2023 17:41

Hi, I'd like to join, too😊
Currently 7dpo on my first cycle TTC. I've told myself that I can be excited and do all the symptom spotting and obsessing THIS time, but if we need to try again next cycle, I'll tone it down 😅

HopeAndStrength · 07/06/2023 18:10

Hi everyone, just checking in as I've received my booking appointment with a midwife for the end of June. It is still a few weeks away, when I'll hopefully be 9 weeks along. Currently feeling tired and peeing a lot! Some cramps, and a metallic taste when I wake up. Hope you're all doing well.

Greenergreenie · 08/06/2023 07:54

TW: mention of miscarriage.

Hi everyone.
2nd pregnancy. I’ve been getting really really strong period like pains in my back and lower tummy. Nothing like I’ve felt in my first pregnancy. They’ve been on and off for 3 days now. I’m 5 weeks. Worse than actual period pains.

has anyone experienced this before MC? And what does a MC feel like?
should I call drs if it persists but no bleed?
feeling anxious xxxx

Whippetmother · 08/06/2023 09:04

Hey @Greenergreenie I’m so sorry to hear you’re in such pain. I haven’t experienced a MC but my GP said to ring the local early pregnancy unit if I had extreme pain and/or bleeding so they can check things out. Perhaps give EPU a call? Sending love x

xTinkerbell · 08/06/2023 09:15

Can I join? Just had my positive test yesterday and by my dates due feb 14th.

This will be baby 3 all going well and because of short cycles I really didn’t expect it to happen again let alone in the first month of trying

AbsolutePlonker · 08/06/2023 09:19

@HopeAndStrength mine is booked for the last week of June too! I am trying so hard to stay chill about this 🤣 I have one summer baby so I'd love a winter bub this time!

@Harriet669 I'm constipated too 😂😂

@Greenergreenie I'd call your GP or midwife. I'm second baby too though and I've had period pains - not really bad but a pretty constant dull ache. My midwife just said it was because my body knows what it's doing this time, and everything is a lot stretchier! Hope that helps but I would deffo call someone. I am also getting a LOT of discharge so I have managed to convince myself my period has come every day this week 🫣 but no blood so far.

Have a great day ladies. So glad I can come on here and share my symptoms - I don't want to tell friends JUST yet. Dying to tell work just so they leave me alone again 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I had very bad sickness with baby no. 1 and everyone was REALLY nice after I puked on a Teams call ......

Greenergreenie · 08/06/2023 10:34

thanks everyone! X

agree with above poster, worth getting a call with the doc. If there's no bleeding, that's a good sign though. Hope it subsides soon.

I had some lower back pain initially and cramps yesterday, plus weird vagina pain (soz for the TMI), but seems to have calmed down today.

mashm24 · 08/06/2023 12:32

I'm so exhausted today I physically can't get out my bed! It's like the flu without the symptoms of flu if that makes sense 🤣 like somebody has completely zapped any energy. Anybody else experiencing this?

mashm24 · 08/06/2023 12:33

@Greenergreenie I would maybe just check in with your midwife or EPU just so they can double check. I'm sure it's just your body adjusting especially with no bleeding - that is a very good sign xxx

Janeykat · 08/06/2023 13:52

@mashm24 I have that too, not helped my a dramatic reduction in caffine and running around after my 3 year old😴😴 I suppose our bodys are busy making placentas and gearing up for the next 9 months, which might explain some of exhaustion😅 I hope you are able to rest a bit and feel better soon!xx

@mashm24 I have this too! Working from home and falling asleep at my desk. Also finding it super difficult to concentrate on work.

Has anybody got experience with flying/going on holiday in their first trimester? I go on holiday next week and slightly anxious about it which I wouldn't usually be! I'm worried the sickness will catch up with me as I'll be 6 weeks next week and I've heard that's when it's likely to hit hard if at all.

Also anybody really impatient in waiting for their early scans/12 weeks scan? Just want the first trimester over already 🤭

babyD20 · 08/06/2023 14:49

Has anyone been having any one sided niggling pains. I went to my GP today panicking but they seemed to think it was fine. My lower left side has been hurting a lot.

xTinkerbell · 08/06/2023 14:54

@babyD20 I had this with DS cant remember if I also had it in my second pregnancy but all was fine

TTCing · 08/06/2023 17:21

@xoxogossipmum I’m also going on holiday next Saturday too! I’ll only be 5+3 when we fly though! I’m so excited as I hope it’ll take my mind off being pregnant. It’s so hard to concentrate at work so looking forward to a week in the sun with my husband and toddler! X
