Congratulations @SunSparkle and welcome! I'm 27th December so we're very close ☺️ How have you been feeling?

SunSparkle · 01/05/2023 11:52

@DaisyMay25 hi! I’m so glad too. Totally thought I was going mad. And I had the same concerns you had about short cycles but honestly since stopping breastfeeding that’s what they were stuck on.

@Charlielechat congrats! Honestly I feel fine. But I’m so scared as I had crippling fatigue and then had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy from week 6 to week 20 and was on medication to help control it but it was miserable. So I’m waiting for that to happen again as it has a high reoccurrence rate. But also I know so much more now and I’m trying not to let the fear steal my joy.

how are you feeling?

Hiya! Got my positive test today! Estimated due date of 28th December. I have one daughter already. She’s 2.25 years old

looking forward to being on this pregnancy journey again. Might have to join a January club too as I went two weeks overdue with my first before I was induced

I'm due on the 28th December too
Also thinking of joining the January group. I have a daughter who is about to turn 3!

It's such an awful, anxious time @Retrogamer I actually did another clear blue digital yesterday to double check it hadn't gone back down from 3+ to 2-3 weeks 🙈 Could you reschedule your private scan until this week? At 9 weeks you should be able to see a heartbeat so could give you more reassurance? I have a 7 week scan next Tuesday and it's so hard waiting.

Thank you for your reply Charlie. Im happy to hear you still have a 3+ on a CB :)
DH came back from the shops and I broke down, he called the place and asked if there's availability today I didn't think they would be open as its a bank holiday. We've moved it to this afternoon, so I'll know by tonight. I'm so scared but I need to know, my anxiety is crippling at this point.

wannabemum38 · 01/05/2023 12:53

@Retrogamer I felt exactly the same I was convinced that I would see nothing until I had my scan yesterday. I think you and your DH have done the right thing in moving the scan forward it will make you feel so much better. Good luck x

DaisyMay25 · 01/05/2023 12:54

@Retrogamer glad you could move it, the waiting is the worse bit

Charlielechat · 01/05/2023 13:47

@Retrogamer that's great! Best of luck!

@SunSparkle oh no, hopefully you don't get it again! Glad you're feeling ok atm though 😊
Yeah I feel fine too, just sore boobs, occasionally quite tired, and some pelvic twinges. Probably too early for sickness to begin but I hope it stays away!

SMG1992 · 01/05/2023 14:21

Great news @Retrogamer glad you could move your scan.
you should be able to see quite a lot at 9 weeks too!

Mummy1502 · 01/05/2023 15:03

@Retrogamer good luck, hope all goes well for you x

Mummy1502 · 01/05/2023 15:05

Nausea has well and truly kicked in! Luckily the doctor prescribed me anti sickness last week just in case, only have prochlorperazine atm but they said they will give me ondansetron if I need it, Cyclizine is a no go for me after an anaphylactic shock through iv to it a few years back in a previous pregnancy, ondansetron is a god send x

Rainbowdust557 · 01/05/2023 15:20

@Retrogamer the not knowing is the worst! So pleased you could move it though. Hope it goes well. x

Flowers90 · 01/05/2023 15:49

I have really bad nausea today too. Just attempting to drink a lemon snd ginger tea in the hope it settles it! Have quite a headache too, but my daughter isn't in childcare today and has wanted to play all day! So hard trying to keep her entertained when not feeling great

Mummy1502 · 01/05/2023 16:00

@Flowers90 i took my anti sickness and now I’m starving 😂 it’s helped so just going to eat now, I think I did too much this morning, was scrubbing my house and got really hot so I think that set it off, I am struggling with food I can only seem to eat what I fancy, currently waiting for deliveroo to arrive with a chicken and bacon slice and a freal chocolate milkshake, these babies don’t want much do they lol, all my other children have a bug atm so it’s a day for lots of cuddles and films x

Mummy1502 · 01/05/2023 16:01

@Flowers90 may I add this is after I did a big food shop a couple of days ago but seem to have nothing I fancy in the house from the mountain of food we have 😂 x

Flowers90 · 01/05/2023 17:13

@Mummy1502. I know the feeling, weve been food shopping over the weekend and there's nothing in I want. Feeling slightly better after the ginger tea so will see if I can manage some dinner. I just want really spicy food all the time, but then it makes me feel 100x worse. I usually love a hot drink but tea of making me feel sick and can't stand the.smell if coffee. I keep wanting fizzy drinks and milkshake which I never like. Like you I have to really fancy something to eat it right now.

Mummy1502 · 01/05/2023 17:14

@Flowers90 pregnancy cravings are crazy x

DaisyMay25 · 01/05/2023 18:53

I felt horrendous this morning, nausea and tiredness and then it comes again in the evening.
At least I'm managing to eat and drink okay, with my son I barely ate.
@Flowers90 the bank holiday no childcare has been killing me off too

TulipVictory · 01/05/2023 19:03

Hi thought I'd join in. Have been feeling terribly nauseous when I get even slightly hungry. Had an early scan today at 8+4 but actually measured 9wks 😊

Due December 2023 part 2
Charlielechat · 01/05/2023 19:16

@TulipVictory congratulations! Good to hear that you're measuring ahead too!

Retrogamer · 01/05/2023 19:29

Thank you for all the support.
I attended my scan snd while I saw my beautiful baby. It passed away last week at 8 weeks.
I'm devastated beyond words, I'll be taking my leave from the thread now as I don't want to spread any negativity.
Good luck with you all and I wish you all well.

Peaceandloves · 01/05/2023 19:39
