@Katiec1 I definitely feel more nervous this time. Second pregnancy, first one went fine. I'm not sure why either. Think I'm driving husband slowly mad. Do feel a lot better after seeing baby was all ok today though x

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 thats what I’m hoping for next week. Once I see everything is ok on scan I think it’ll put my mind at ease 🤞🏼glad to hear everything went ok for you today x

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 I had NIPT with ultrasound direct. Had the scan and the test at lunchtime on Monday and it was back about 3pm on the Friday. They said it would take 7-10 working days so was surprised it was so quick.

@Mummypig23 ah that's good then. So had mine 5.30pm today they said it would get sent off to lab tomorrow. Based on that and bank hol thinking the end of next week at very best or but more likely start of week after. Ps absolutely love your name of here, we are big Peppa fans in this house x

@Katiec1 I feel the same. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I plan on it being my last, but I can’t seem to relax enough to enjoy it. I had 2 fairly uneventful pregnancies with my daughters, but have had spotting on and off this time and it has definitely affected my ability to be chill.

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 glad your scan went well! I’m waiting for my test results too. (NHS). Hoping I won’t find it too nail biting getting through next wk! x

Congrats everyone on their recent lovely scans with good news, I've my NT scan Thursday when I will be 13+3, the nerves are ramping up, I'm wondering everyday do I feel pregnant.

Even though its my first pregnancy going this far I can already see I'm showing and ita defo not just bloat, so hoping that's a good sign. My nausea is 100% and in fact I'm hungry a lot lol

Really nervous now hoping there's a heartbeat and the NT is ok. Last scan was 10w+4 and there was a healthy baby with a good heartbeat, praying that's still the case.

I like just getting my thoughts out here so feel free to ignore this post lol its same thing i always post 🤣

@38andtrying totally understand! I had an 8 week scan then nothing until 12, when I turned out to be 13. And those weeks dragged & anxiety was sky high. Try & stay positive in the fact you’ve seen the baby healthy, pretty far along in first trimester & a strong heartbeat! I’m now convinced I’m not pregnant even though I have a little bump that is very noticeable in swimwear & I have saw the baby nice and healthy only last week. But still, our minds go crazy don’t they. Positive thoughts from me & good luck with your scan xxx

We're announcing the pregnancy to our friends and family this weekend with a video that includes our dog. We stayed with friends this weekend so there was no hiding from them. They were happy but SO very surprised 🧐🤣 a bit too surprised imo. Now that so many of us have had the NT scan and hopefully received all clear results from the blood tests, are you now beginning to tell people and other children?

@NatGee Ahh love it!! We told my mum & step dad when I was 12 weeks & my partners the following weekend - we had to lie to both sets of parents to arrange a meet up as we all live in separate parts of the country! Both were completely shocked & over the moon. We are on holiday at the min, I’ll be 16 weeks when back & as you say, there’s no hiding it now - so will tell other people then! Glad we are away to get a few more weeks of the secrecy! Hope your families were thrilled, I can’t believe how nervous I was telling people xx

Had my second try at a 12 week scan at 13+4 but baby wasn’t cooperating again, but we did see healthy HR and got some good views of the baby. Also they mentioned it didn’t really matter as I had done the NIPS blood test. It was amazing to see her again, and my partner got to come this time too and he finally saw the baby looking somewhat baby like. She was flexing her muscles too! Lol.

Anyone seem to get some sort of random surge of hormones late week 13? I woke up with the most awful spotty skin, and throwing up again after a peaceful week. Luckily only lasted one day for the throwing up, but my skin is so bad. Worse than it ever was as a teenager! 14+1 today. The baby was measuring about 5 days ahead so what would be 14+6 by measurements and they changed my due date to October 31, would love a Halloween baby!

Yes. I’m 14w today and the last week the sickness has come back. Had one particularly bad day last Monday which would’ve been 13w1. Really strange!

I remember a 13/14 week return of the sickness in my first pregnancy when I thought it had gone away. Will look forward to that lol.

I'm 11 weeks today.

One of my grandparents birthday was Halloween and they were just the best person ever so I think it's a great day for a birthday. Plus always a party day 🎆 x

I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and the sickness is yet to go away 🙈 So draining and I haven't eaten properly in weeks!

@Psqueak87 omg yes, baby measuring 14 wks now and I have come up with lump like spots on my cheeks! I recently bought some new foundation so I assumed it was that. Maybe not then! I stopped throwing up at 12 wks but nausea still hanging around if I don’t eat for a while. But yeah I’ve seen graphs showing a HCG spike around 13/14 and then it goes down after that. Lovely pic :)

@spanglesj omg yes the spots are awful and huge and painful. Honestly I can see 10 on my face at this very moment! wheres this glow everyone talks about?!?

When are people planning on telling children in their families? I've unfortunately had 4MCs, this leaves us nervous to tell our 2 DSDs (10 and 12). I know they will be so excited and the questions about the baby just won't stop which makes me want to put it off. They don't know about the MCs, so it's a worrying time. xx

@FfoxRedN I'm telling my DS (7) this weekend after my 12wk scan. Well I will be 13wks.
If I thought I could get away with waiting longer I would. I've been quite sick & he is worrying about me so at least this will give an explanation. People are also questioning/ guessing so I don't want him to hear it from someone else.

@FfoxRedN I understand, they’re old enough to understand losses so that’s a tricky one. Maybe a good time would be after the 20 week anomaly scan? My son is only 2.5 so I’m thinking I’ll just tell him when he notices my belly 😊

How’s everyone feeling? I saw some of you have got returning nausea now in the second trimester 😏 I’m 14 weeks now and feel like a new person pretty much, I can drink coffee again and I’m not super nauseous and knackered. I’ve been very bloated the last few weeks and that seems to have gone too! I’ve still got some queasiness throughout the day and I get tired easily when I’m exercising but other than that I feel fine. Fingers crossed this is the start of the glowing part of pregnancy!

@Travellingislife glad your feeling better and to hear the bloat goes.

@FfoxRedN I am debating this. Our daughter is just gone 3 but very perceptive for her age and keeps asking for a brother or a sister. I'm definitely not telling her before the 12 week scan (about 11 days to go) might see if I can give few more weeks after that as well and tell her more sort of 15 / 16 weeks ish will see how it goes x

Hi everyone ,

I'm slightly worried and I don't think I shouldn't but I'm currently around 11weeks today according to my measurements when I last had a scan , I've got no symptoms at all, I mean nothing I did have around 6-7 weeks but nothing since is this normal should I be worried?
I do however have a cyst on my ovaries could this Be causing anything as I was told the cyst is pushing the baby out of the way and it's hiding 🤦‍♀️
My next scan is next week which should make me around 12 weeks

Please any reassurance till my next scan xx
