Had my 12 week scan today! Can anyone make a guess if it’s a boy or girl? 🩷🩵 Excited to see when I’m later in this pregnancy!!!

@Sb86 ahh lovely news! I have mine next week and super nervous, hoping my bleed has gone too and baby is growing as should! I’m starting to get excited too though 😁

Had my booking appointment today and they booked my scan for 17th May when I’ll be 13+6 … so the last day for the NT test.
I’m not very impressed with my care up to now.
The midwife I saw today was lovely, but asked why I left it so late to register my pregnancy … except I filled my first form in when I was 4 weeks pregnant and had to fill another one in at 8 weeks cos I’d heard nothing. So I’ll see how they date me and if I’m over 14 weeks I’ll have the combined test instead, not really sure what the difference is, except that she called it the old fashioned test.
I mentioned the spotting to her and she said if I wanted to contact the EPU for reassurance I could, but because it was so light and only twice over 2 days I’m not sure whether I’m just wasting their time.
So pleased for all of your happy scans today! Gutted I have so long to wait for mine!

call me crazy if you like 😂😂 I'm currently around 10 weeks maybe more not sure but
I felt and heard this strange thing last while I was asleep . It was a popping noise & clicking noise in my belly? Is this normal or am I dreaming things lol 😂 it woke me up what could it be? Never had it before In my previous ones , I've got no bleeding or pain or anything but do I have cyst on my right ovaries next scan is 18th may can't wait too see if there has been any progress and how baby is doing . The wait is long 🤍🤍

Just read the leaflet and it is the quadruple test not the combined test if I’m over 14 weeks and it says in the leaflet that it is less accurate.

The waiter on holiday just asked me how many months pregnant I am! Took me by surprise!!! I’m 14 weeks today. Feeling chubby, not pregnant. I was offended 😂 then my bf reminded me “well you pregnant!”

@BabyBabyBaby123 i am in similar position to you, my scan I would be 13+5, feeling it’s really not good enough 😕
this is an anxious pregnancy for me after 5 ivf rounds and a mmc and this is adding to that, I am 40 and so that’s also on my mid as higher risk.
My booking in isn’t even until 13+1
the nurse did tell me though that the cut off is 14+1 for combined test so just need to hope that at the scan can get those measurements.
perhaps try calling every so often to see if any earlier appointments have become available that’s what they advised me to do xx

Hey @Hopewishprayer do you know if baby is measuring ahead as that would make a difference, otherwise to reassure you perhaps I had my dating scan today baby measuring 13+4, also IVF, post MMCs also and I’m 41. They didn’t mention it was too late for tests and got all they needed. I hope that helps a little! It’s all such a minefield isn’t it! Sending comfort to you x x

I had a scan 7+3 and was 2 day ahead but have booked another scan for next week so will get a better idea then, thanks for reassurance x

Hi All, had my NIPT test today. Scan showed all was well, same date as last time so 10 + 5 confirmed. Have to wait 7 to 10 days now but will potentially be longer with bank hol. Anyone have their NIPT with Ultrasound Direct and how long did it take to come back? X

Anyone else just like a nervous wreck during this pregnancy or is it just me🙈
This is my 3rd pregnancy, after having a healthy singleton and healthy twins I was so chill and calm throughout them pregnancies, but my god my nerves just seem to have gotten the better of me on this one. I can’t stop thinking the worse is going to happen.
i don’t know whether it’s because I’m obviously a bit older now on this one, or because my scan is looming (next week when I’ll be over the 12 week mark) I’m just so frustrated with myself for feeling like this.
