@JD90 that's amazing, congratulations x

LilmissCa · 22/04/2023 20:38

Congrats @JD90 it's such a relief ❤️

FfoxRedN · 22/04/2023 22:06

@38andtrying I am the same too and was wondering about if it was the progesterone.
I've not had much nausea at all today and it's really messing with my anxiety. 9 weeks tomorrow, which is always around the time for me where the growth has stopped in MMC. Is anyone else's sickness fluctuating? I never thought I'd be wishing to feel so rough xx

FfoxRedN · 22/04/2023 22:06

@vix_85 running to tesco in the morning 🙂

@vix_85 running to tesco in the morning 🙂

They're so comfy!

Definitely fluctuating nausea with me too. Had a few days of very little symptoms then back with a bang today and my first proper sick.

@vix_85 that's reassuring 🙏🏼 thank you, I think you're a few days to a week ahead of me xx

Psqueak87 · 22/04/2023 23:48

@anna2101 looks like girl to me, but I’m no expert, I was just googling nub theory stuff before my scan 😜

im having a girl, as confirmed by NIPS genetic testing, they told me the gender with that too.

Thack · 23/04/2023 04:39

My bloat is fluctuating. I feel so uncomfortable at night.

I had an appt with MW 2-3 weeks ago to fill in the paperwork and I had a letter with the scan date after that. On Friday, MW did my checks and gave me my notes.
In covid times, that first part was a phone call. I much preferred that, so much easier than going in!

LilmissCa · 23/04/2023 08:48

Did you scan appt letter specify a scan on it?
I was pretty sure it did in my previous pregnancies

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 23/04/2023 09:14

I've seen people say about symptoms lessening. I am 9 weeks today and don't really feel sick this morning compared to other days. Was this when other people's symptoms started to improve. This was when I started being physically sick last time x

seven201 · 23/04/2023 09:18

@Blondie1024 so sorry to read your news. I hope you have loved ones around you for support and that the hospital will also do all they can to make it go as smoothly as it can do. Flowers

seven201 · 23/04/2023 09:19

Congratulations on the scans. Some lovely pics!

I think tesco might see an upsurge in their stretchy waistband sales this weekend!

FfoxRedN · 23/04/2023 09:21

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 just to say I'm the same. It's such a nerve wracking time xx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 23/04/2023 09:33

@FfoxRedN yes thank you for your message. It really is.

I do have another private scan with the NIPT but that's not until the 10th of May which feels like absolutely ages away x

Chellooo · 23/04/2023 11:31

12 weeks today! I made it! After a previous mmc at 9 wks, I just had the 12 week mark in my head as a milestone to hit, and I'm delighted this morning.
Have my big scan on Tues, so the anxiety is still real, but it's the little steps to getting to the end.
Sickness is kind of easing off, still feel nauseous everyday but maybe only vomiting once rather than the constant!
I'm hoping this is me coming out the otherside of it now and once I get Tues over me, I'll be able to relax a bit and enjoy it 😊

FfoxRedN · 23/04/2023 11:46

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 oh I hope that time passes quick for you. Mine was due to be the 2nd May but I've bought it forward to Friday now.
@Chellooo I recognise your name from previous threads, amazing news you've reached that milestone! Wish you all the best for Tuesday I am sure everything will be just perfect 🥰

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 23/04/2023 12:00

@FfoxRedN thank you. We are fairly busy the next few weeks so hopefully it will x

AngeloMysterioso · 23/04/2023 13:24

Well, after however many weeks of hideous nausea and the odd bit of gagging, today, 10+1 I was finally actually sick. Only a bit of bile mind you.

@Chellooo this website might help ease your worries a little bit… https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer?fbclid=IwAR1LaLVO7xfrEtHOCVeQKI4LhhOfQpI0Ym1B5_vqH-mspm1onsSfXZ-OJG0

spanglesj · 23/04/2023 23:07

Hiya, joining this thread. :)
Older mama at 41 and 11+2 after having my DS followed by two MMCs (7 and 8 wks.) I see there are some others on here also on the progesterone suppository train (I’m on 3 a day!!) and mc clinic. Got my 12 wk clinic scan this wk, (then NHS dating scan at 13 wks all being well) so nervous but grateful to have made it this far and feeling hopeful this one will go all the way to Nov.

I have one question, when people have mentioned actual heart rates, they’ve never actually told me they just say it’s strong. But I always worry if they aren’t over enthusiastic… anyone else feel like this? Last scan at 10 wks my sonographer was a trainee and she was so solemn and quiet it really freaked me out!

as for sickness chat I’ve vommed every day for weeks on end. Sooo ready for the second trimester now. X

Sb86 · 24/04/2023 08:18

Hey @spanglesj congratulations on your pregnancy 😊 sorry to hear about your mmcs. I had a mc back in October at 8 weeks and I'm on progesterone twice a day until 16 weeks, I'm currently 11+2.

Only had the one scan in epu where they dated me about 6+5 and I never got told a heart rate either just that it was strong. Got my 12 week scan a week on Thursday and I'm absolutely dreading it, the anxiety is terrible. I've not once been sick but I've felt nauseous since about 6 weeks. Wishing you all the best for your scan x

NatGee · 24/04/2023 08:41

@Chellooo congratulations on themilestone, I have a few days til I get there myself, fingers crossed

Good luck to all those having scans today

flowerlover1990 · 24/04/2023 09:14

9 weeks today 🥰 Feels like a bit of a milestone, not sure why! Sickness is really kicking my butt though 🤢 I'm meant to be going on my friend's hen do in May and it's abroad. Really hoping I'm fit enough to go, I've been looking forward to it for ages and will be lovely to get some sunshine. Anyone else got any big events coming up they're worried about?

vix_85 · 24/04/2023 09:31

@flowflowerlover1990 I'm just about to fly home from 4 days in Prague and I was determined it wouldn't be ruined. Just managed the nausea with lemonade and salty foods, puked once after spicy nachos but managed 100,000 steps / 35 miles over the 4 days. Absolutely shattered now though!

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 24/04/2023 09:31

@Flower35214 we must be really similar dates. I'm 9+1 today x

Mldn · 24/04/2023 09:39

I hit 12 weeks over the weekend & felt a huge shift in my anxiety! Also told my parents which was SO emotional, my mum was super shocked! Spent two days being a tourist in London & today I am exhausted like never before. Also have some very sore spots on my face, a sty & a water infection 😅 pregnancy defo messes with my immune system! 12 week scan on Thursday & then holiday next Tuesday, praying baby behaves so we can get the nuchal reading on Thursday as I’ll be almost 16 weeks when back off holiday, so too late! Good luck to everybody who has scans today x
