Currently 6+2 think due 23rd October #2
No major symptoms apart from tonight I have extreme restless leg syndrome and insomnia 🙈 xx

I’ve had PPA (planning time - teacher) this morning and THANK GOD because I am soooo nauseous. I hope I’m not still gagging when my class arrive 🤢

catching up here and it’s so lovely to hear of positive scans and for those navigating ambiguity, sending you courage!

I am finding this such a vulnerable process. 7+4 today. I spoke with a doula yesterday & she reminded me that I can’t control anything. She also invited me to connect with the soul of the baby which immediately sent me into tears!!

I have my Mum visiting today & we are going to do a little selfie video of us breaking the news to her. She’s going to be over-joyed!

About gender - I’d love to know but DH doesn’t. Eek! What to do? Where can I get one of these packs from? Never heard of them.

Is anyone considering getting a harmony test done? My consultant mentioned it to me, seems like a good idea.

@iloveeggs what is the harmony test?

Ooh the gender blood test is £90!! I’m not sure what I expected price wise but this just seems a lot.

I had an early gender scan privately on my last pregnancy at 16 weeks which was £75ish so I’ll likely wait for that I think.

@iloveeggs is the harmony test the same as a NIPT test? I’m which case yes I will be getting that done in the next few weeks.

Hi ladies! I went for my early scan today at 7+2 and got a bit of a surprise 🙈

im at higher risk for twins also (sister, aunt and cousin all have twins so it’s in the genes) big surprise 🙃

I’ve had my early scan today measuring as I thought, bang on 8 weeks today could see the little heartbeat flickering away and everything looked as it should 🥰 could also see the little arms and legs forming too.

I feel a lot less anxious now x

I've spent all week hoping my symptoms would ease, I'm feeling a bit better today and feeling anxious about what's made them change. Can't win at the minute 😂
