Currently 6+2 think due 23rd October #2
No major symptoms apart from tonight I have extreme restless leg syndrome and insomnia 🙈 xx

@Needtobuildabridge - I had this so badly in my last pregnancy that keeping myself fed was a crippling experience. The battle is real.

@VictoriaBlossom to be honest I get where he’s coming from - the side eyes I got when people realised I wasn’t smoking! Loads figured it out just from that 🤣

Yeah @Chanteuse problem is, this will be the first grandchild from his parents second marriage (there's grand kids on either side La first marriage)
And she's absolutely desperate for my OH or one of his brothers to have kids as they're local, where as the previous marriage kids are down south.
When SIL was pregnant she was literally 3 weeks and MIL told everyone how excited she was. Absolutely no malice but after our MMC last year, OH is keeping the news close to his chest til 12 weeks. I would like to tell her on Mother's Day, as I'll have had my 8wk scan and when I'm not drinking, smoking, or vaping she's going to definitely know

@Needtobuildabridge i am the same today, I am nauseous because I am hungry, I open the fridge and there is nothing I fancy eating! I force myself to eat something and then I am nauseous again! French fries is the only thing I can easily eat.

@VictoriaBlossom I’m also a vaper 🙈 I used to be terrible, would get through a vape a day. I work from home so would just sit there all day puffing it off. Once I got the positive test I stopped, went cold Turkey. It was so so hard for the first two weeks as DH was still vaping but once I got through that I don’t really think of it no more. Just hoping I don’t need to go back to it in 8 months 😂 I didn’t think we were allowed to vape and got scared I’d do something but I don’t really know if it does do anything or not. Are you planning to stop now? xx

@Needtobuildabridge I have been the exact same for the last two weeks. I have been starving but didn’t fancy anything, but weirdly yesterday I woke up and the feeling had gone and I fancy everything and want to eat everything! My nausea has also gone but reading this thread it seems like symptoms can come and go. Hopefully you starting fancying foods again soon xx

@Needtobuildabridge i’m exactly the same. I can’t remember the last time I ate a proper meal.
I’m finding i prefer snacky things but i’m starving and if I don’t eat straight away i’ll get really nauseous. I just can’t find anything I want to eat, its really frustrating actually because i’m hungry I just don’t want to eat anything x

@Hopefulx yes I would nail a disposable vape in 2 days. Also WFH so there would be one in my hand all the time.

To be fair the smell of stale smoke got to me a couple of weeks ago, so glad I've packed in.

I won't go back to nicotine now if I can help it. Just know I'm gonna gain more weight. So need to get on the summer time dog walks

@Needtobuildabridge not fancying anything but being hungry is the bane of my life rn! If I don't eat I feel really weird, but there is literally nothing I want to eat at all. Especially frustrating as DH is working away a couple of nights this week so I'm having dinner alone - ended up just picking meals with leftovers so I won't have to cook for DC and hoping I want to eat it too! 🥲

Otherwise very few symptoms, apart from really handy intense nausea and wretching whenever I brush my teeth!

I woke up in the night with bad cramps - my first thought was ectopic I was so worried. Turned out to just be gas 😵‍💫 it’s gone away now. Pregnancy is delightful 😅

Anyone else now struggling to even read this thread, because you feel sick reading about other women's morning sickness? 🤮

Is anyone not feeling sick? I feel pretty ok and of course worried that I don’t feel sick enough 😬 I did another test yesterday to make sure it was still showing as positive lol. It was 🙏

My nausea kicked in a couple of days ago (I’m 7+4 now). Just in the mornings really but I’m really struggling to get myself up, get kids fed and ready for school etc. They were late today and I felt really bad 😔

The sickness has kicked in HARD here too!! I'm not ever sick just feel it so bad!!! Finding ready salted crisps help

Update :-

I am still bleeding / spotting. Its been 9 days now. Some days it looks like it is going to stop, then bam it comes back.

I don't know what to think. Apart from my mouth feeling dry most days. I have no symptoms. I am not hopeful.

Re-scan is Thursday. Honestly I am fed up with it all.

I feel sick a lot but not been sick. Not as bad today but a bit of heartburn/acid in my throat. How far on are you?

@Happyhappy39soon40 It must seem like a long time until your scan. So tricky when we don’t know what’s going on with our bodies. You hear all kinds of stories about bleeding and pregnancies continuing so I have everything crossed for you x

@BeaKind I'm actually not to bad, haven't really had nausea just tummy pains on and off which more often than not turn out to be tramped wind!

Anyone suffering with reslly really bad headaches? I’m 9+4 and they started on Saturday and not really left. I was actually sick last night with them and currently laid in bed with a migraine patch on my head 😩 any remedies?

I had my booking in appointment on March 3rd and was told my scan date would come in the post in the next week after the appointment. It's now been 10 days and I haven't received a letter yet (I'm 10 weeks today) should I text my midwife or leave it a bit longer?

@firstlittlefrazzleontheway I was told to get in touch if I hadn't gotten a letter by 11 weeks. Hope this helps.
