Good luck today @iloveeggs !

I was feeling fine apart from the tiredness, but this morning the sickness has hit me! Was fine eating, but then brushing my teeth after made me sick - and now that's all I can smell despite obviously brushing my teeth multiple times after! Probably all in my head, but it's still hideous - 6+2 today so the timing is spot on 😂🤦‍♀️

firstlittlefrazzleontheway · 01/03/2023 09:25

@iloveeggs good luck, let us know how the scan goes.

I'm really feeling the sickness this morning, I work in the community and I can't stop gipping as I'm driving around. Praying I'm not actually sick as im not sure what I'd do

MeganC104 · 01/03/2023 09:27

I'm really bad at keeping up with this thread. I'm not ready to start chatting on the FB group yet.

Due 31 Oct. 2nd bubba. Heartburn and nausea creeping in. Had a shower this morning and the shampoo smelt so strong it made me gag.

iloveeggs · 01/03/2023 09:30

Thanks everyone 💞So nervy!

@Hopefulx It's at lunchtime so a little bit of a wait, wish it was earlier 🙈

@FirstTimeMamaB In relation to pain, I was having a lot of pain on my right side. I also have endometriosis so always have pain so very hard to tell what's normal and not, my GP sent me to the EPU as it was one sided and wanted to rule out ectopic. I think normal cramping pain is all normal as your uterus is stretching and getting ready for baby!

VictoriaBlossom · 01/03/2023 09:45

@iloveeggs she's lay under my oodie 😂😂😂

Due October 2023 - thread 3
katherine123x · 01/03/2023 09:46

Currently on my third pack of ready salted crisps of the day 😂😂😂

VictoriaBlossom · 01/03/2023 09:46

@iloveeggs good vibes being sent for today! Xx

VictoriaBlossom · 01/03/2023 09:49

@katherine123x it's not even 10am 😂😂

I've had my bowl of porridge with full fat milk, it's certainly helped with the trapped gas and constipation! To anyone suffering with constipation, porridge has been my saviour!

katherine123x · 01/03/2023 09:52

@VictoriaBlossom hahahhaa I know. Craving Salt like mad!!

VictoriaBlossom · 01/03/2023 10:10

@katherine123x my only advice is, don't buy them in bulk. Last time I was pregnant I was obsessed with spaghetti hoops on toast, with cheese on... so bought like 12 cans.
Went off them the week I bought 12 cans and they're still in the cupboard 😂

iloveeggs · 01/03/2023 10:18

@katherine123x I have a stash of ready salted hula hoops by my bed, when I wake up at 5am I usually have a little snack 😂

@VictoriaBlossom omg such a cutie!!! dogs are the best!

VictoriaBlossom · 01/03/2023 10:20

@iloveeggs she's my bestie. Had a real tough year last year, so boyfriend suggested it was the right time to get a doggo. Now I'd just have a house full of Boston terriers. What breed do you have?

iloveeggs · 01/03/2023 10:23

@VictoriaBlossom They really do help with emotional support, my 2 are my 2 little besties! They love you no matter what 😂I've a cockapoo and a cavapoo, 2 little teddy bears 🙈I really do think they can sense that I'm pregnant too it's crazy!

VictoriaBlossom · 01/03/2023 10:39

@iloveeggs I LOVE any dog with poodle in them. absolute floof fest. so clever too. my girls best mates are pouchons and theyre absolute mad heads together. only 1.5 hours til your scan, do you still have the cramps or have they gone away?

ttcttc · 01/03/2023 10:47

AlongcameLainey · 01/03/2023 09:19

@ttcttc ahh due date buddies 💕

Have you started throwing up yet? I haven't but feel it's imminent 🤢

Pepika · 01/03/2023 10:49

Marking my place🌿

@FirstTimeMamaB I had crazy cramps from 4.5- 6.5 weeks. It was awful and debilitating! I ended up at ED - first time pregnancy and scared it was ectopic or something wrong. Had a scan and it was all good, just the uterus stretching and apparently some people get worse cramps than others 🫠 I found a heat pack super helpful, and thankfully it seems to have now passed! Hope it does for you too x

Baby1023 · 01/03/2023 11:05

I don’t know if any of you can stomach it but I have found that some marmite on toast really helps my nausea - it’s my morning go to, also Kellogs elevensies bars - really help too . Both of these have really high vitamin b12 - apparently it’s meant to help morning sickness and help baby develop well.

iloveeggs · 01/03/2023 11:18

@VictoriaBlossom They're so clever and so in tune with our emotions it's crazy, they're nuts too 😂

The cramping has eased loads, or maybe I'm just used to it now. I still get pains all the time but I think it's all normal stuff or my endometriosis. Once they ruled out ectopic I relaxed about it a lot. I was so worried it was in the wrong place.

I'm going to go out and do a few bits now and try to keep my mind busy, will check in afterwards girls 💕

katherine123x · 01/03/2023 11:33

@iloveeggs best of luck 💕

BabyG2loading · 01/03/2023 11:46

Good morning all,
Well after an early bleed and jumping to conclusions that it was all over for me - it turns out that little baby is there in the right place with a beautiful little heartbeat 💓.
8weeks today and had a scan this morning - internal - and could see and hear the heartbeat 💓 delighted.

Hankthehonk · 01/03/2023 11:50

I'm a bit worried, I did my last CB digital today expecting to see 3+ and it's still 2-3. I'm somewhere between 5+5 and 6+2 so surely it should have progressed by now? Has anyone had this happen then it's been ok?

Hankthehonk · 01/03/2023 11:59

@NSx I'm in Ayrshire, having the scan in Ayr! I was in Glasgow when I had my daughter, had the early scan at ABC4D and delivered at the Royal. Where will you give birth?

NSx · 01/03/2023 12:07

@Hankthehonk ahh ok, so technically I should be giving birth in the Princess royal; but I chose QEUH because last year when I lost my girl at 16 months that’s the hospital I was dealing with and the specialists/midwife’s there took such good care of me so I felt I wanted to continue with the QEUH. Can I ask how your experience was at the Royal? I’ve heard of ABCD we’re they good? I’m quite fortunate I’m having an 8 week scan at the QEUH fetal medicine due to what happened last year so won’t need to pay for that, but will probably want more scans down the line, x

NSx · 01/03/2023 12:07

16 weeks not months * @Hankthehonk

ukMummyof1 · 01/03/2023 12:08

Thanks for making a new thread!
I'm 5+2 with #2. I had no symptoms until yesterday when I was extremely tired all day!
With my 1st pregnancy I was feeling very sick from about 4 and a half weeks and so far nothing!

When did everyone start getting noticeable symptoms? Xx
