@Elttek I am 6w1d, what about you? Let us know how the scan goes tomorrow! Unless bleeding increases and I am referred to epu, I plan to have a scan at 9/10 weeks so I can do the nipt test privately. That's a long wait! My NHS scan is at 12 weeks

DancingNancies · 06/03/2023 20:23

@VictoriaBlossom I had slightly sore boobs over the weekend but they've gone again now, other than that and an occasional bought of queasiness the only symptom I have is how tired I am.

I feel absolutely exhausted doing very little - just walking back from the school run felt like I'd been on a 10 mile hike and I have to be careful not to sit on the sofa for too long or I'll fall asleep! It feels quite pathetic, but at least DH understands and my 2yo has no qualms in jumping on me to wake me up if he needs something! 😂

DancingNancies · 06/03/2023 20:26

To everyone having spotting/cramping - try to rest as best you can, and think positive thoughts.

My sister bled throughout all her pregnancies and all DC are healthy, and I had a big bleed around 8 weeks with DC2 and everything was fine...keeping my fingers crossed the same is true for all of you ❤

Soda123x · 06/03/2023 20:43

Another spotter here 🙋🏻‍♀️
Never had any at all with my DS. I've had 3 times over sat & sun of reddy brown on toilet paper so I spoke to EPU and they booked me in for an early scan weds morning. 🤞 everything all OK xx

Thank you that's positive and reassuring

@Alexandra07 I'm 7wk5d by LMP but I ovulate a bit later than average. 12 weeks is such a long time to wait!

@Soda123x
It's reassuring to see so many spotters. A few friends I've spoken to have had spotting too. I wonder if it's more common on second/third pregnancies as the cervix has already been through quite a lot in previous births?! Only 13 hours til scan time...

OrionNebula · 06/03/2023 21:11

I've had a stabbing pain in my lower left side, at the back, on and off all day. Feels like ovulation pain but obviously can't be that. Anyone else had similar?

LaVitesse2022 · 06/03/2023 21:36

@VictoriaBlossom apart from sore and larger boobs, my fatigue is ramping up. It's getting ridiculous how tired I'm getting from doing very little physical movement. I haven't ran in weeks but this is the same level of fatigue I got when I was training for a marathon 🤦‍♀️

LaVitesse2022 · 06/03/2023 21:46

@EMcG3 that is so helpful, thank you much! First time I've seen someone describe their travel system with a baby/toddler for a car-less life. I'm in London too so having a system that works well with public transport is very important. I'll look into the yo yo. The only time I'm thinking we would need to use a car seat would be going to/from airport to visit grandparents, and then navigate car life there. But that could be like just 2-3 times a year. Perhaps better to get a car seat at grandparents? Or to go to the hospital in an emergency (but as you say, in that case a car seat is not legally mandatory).

CB23CB · 06/03/2023 21:56

@VictoriaBlossom still not much for me really. Sore nips, odd bit of feeling sick but passes on quickly and today I've had a really bloated stomach. Not really ramping up which I know is fine but still worries me. Everything's worrying me.

I did get a letter from my doctor today saying that tests after mc show no abnormalities so that's a good thing I suppose.

VictoriaBlossom · 06/03/2023 22:10

@DancingNancies @LaVitesse2022 come to think about it I have been doing loads of spring cleaning and I felt ridiculously fatigued after moving some empty drawers. Never though of it being pregnancy related, literally the same thing happens when my thyroids having a wobble. Might ring the dr and get them to test my thyroid levels as well anyway.
Felt out of breath and my legs felt like I'd done ten flights of stairs not 15 steps from one side of the house to the other

VictoriaBlossom · 06/03/2023 22:11

@CB23CB do you feel like it's mild indigestion and you're gonna do a sick burp but it goes away? I had that a bit over the weekend, but thought it was the junk food I was eating

MeganC104 · 07/03/2023 07:07

I had brown spotting at 7 weeks with my son and everything was fine. 6 weeks today. Going to try not to freak out if it happens again. Still getting odd aches and pains lower tummy but hoping that's just uterus stretching.

ttcttc · 07/03/2023 08:33

I'm not having my booking in app until 10 week. How long after were you all scanned?

mariamari · 07/03/2023 09:54

Symptoms so far; fatigue, nausea, heart burn, restless legs, sensitive stomach, canker sores, food aversions (root veg), headaches, uterus stretchy feeling, sore boobs & wild dreams!

8+2, feels worse in the morning. Praying it eases off soon! The nausea is the worst, I’ve been told to eat lots of protein & get acupuncture which seems to be helping!

Baby1023 · 07/03/2023 10:11

@mariamari did you try acupuncture and found it helped?

LaVitesse2022 · 07/03/2023 10:34

@ttcttc my booking appt is also only at 10 weeks. No scan booked yet, I think it's booked at the first appt?

Feels like forever to wait!

LaVitesse2022 · 07/03/2023 10:38

@ttcttc I know! It's so weird to have the first contact with the health system so far along. I did an early scan privately last week so feeling less on edge than I would've. How far along are you? My appt is on 19 March, bang on 10 weeks

I'm behind you. My booking in is 28th march which will make me about 9+6.

I'm considering an early scan too. Can't decide.

mariamari · 07/03/2023 10:52

@Baby1023 yes acupuncture helped with a lot of things especially the insomnia. I am having a 2/3 sessions a week.

VictoriaBlossom · 07/03/2023 11:04

@ttcttc I've booked a scan today. I looked yesterday on ultrasound direct and it was £90, it was £75 today? Makes no sense as it was for the same day.
I just can't handle the waiting

katherine123x · 07/03/2023 11:09

Anyone finding they have a bit more discharge than normal? 🤦🏼‍♀️ No spotting. Just clear and what I would call normal. Just seems the last few days more than normal - 7w+5 xx

Maybe because it's last min?
Not sure we have one of those locally.

firstlittlefrazzleontheway · 07/03/2023 11:17

@katherine123x I feel the same, I keep wondering if I've wet myself and then worrying if somethings wrong- I've even googled it🤦‍♀️
