Thank you everyone for your kind words and encouragement. I've never heard of vanishing twin syndrome before but from what I have been reading it's it's common occurance with little to no complications I was just taken off guard and can't help but feel a sense of sadness. Congratulations to you all, I love seeing all the little scan pictures 💖

katherine123x · 03/03/2023 21:35

@VictoriaBlossom buyer pays postage. Honestly take a look it's so easy!! You get paid once they receive it. All tracked

Ss32 · 03/03/2023 21:49

Seems a million miles off but is anyone thinking about feeding yet? My first was breastfed and I don’t know if I’ve got it in me to do it again 😂

VictoriaBlossom · 03/03/2023 21:51

@katherine123x oh my god isn't it amazing!!! Since your last post I've signed up, and listed like 4 items!

Alexandra07 · 03/03/2023 22:03

@Ss32 I breastfed my first one and definitely doing it again, if everything goes well. No way I am gyet up to prepare bottles in the middle of the night and worry about sterilising them! Boob out and baby is happy 😂 plus the benefits of breast milk.
But seriously, don't stress about it, especially so early. Any amount of breastfeeding you do will benefit the baby, even if it's for a short period. You can see how it goes and decide as you go, see how everything fits in your life when baby is here.

That’s the thing, I don’t want to make bottles either 😂

Hi all. Haven’t been very active on here yet as I’ve been guarding my heart after a previous MMC. Went for an early scan today at 8+1 and delighted to see a little embryo with a heartbeat measuring two days ahead. We could even see the little limb buds. Such a relief.
Amazing to think there’s actually a baby in there!

@pangolin84 oh that's an amazing picture! It looks so much like a baby already! Congrats, you must be very happy and relieved 🤍

OrionNebula · 03/03/2023 22:42

Huge congrats @pangolin84 ! Gorgeous picture 🥰

@Ss32 I breastfed last time and will definitely do it again. I have to say I loved it, aside from one bout of mastitis I was lucky not to have any major issues. Hoping for the same this time around.

Ss32 · 03/03/2023 22:47

I don’t know if I didn’t love breastfeeding so much because it was lockdown so I didn’t get all the ‘convenience’ perks if that makes sense and my LO was so super attached to me all the time. I just can’t imagine doing it with a toddler at the same time! BUT saying that, I did love how easy it was to get her back to sleep in the night! I will definitely try bfing again but I think this time I’ll be more open to combi feeding earlier and I really want to pump more this time!

mariamari · 04/03/2023 05:29

Any tips on insomnia & restless feet? I’m struggling here :(

JoanneV · 04/03/2023 05:51

@mariamari awake for the past hour with back pain. Stretch and tire out your feet if you can, move them and wiggle your toes, magnesium is a good prevention for the future.

Natacat · 04/03/2023 06:40

@pangolin84 congrats! That’s a great scan pic!

marking my place on the fastest moving thread 🙈

BeaKind · 04/03/2023 06:49

I’ve been thinking about feeding too. Loved breastfeeding the first time round but we went till he was 20 months. This time I think I’ll combi feed so hubby can do some night feeds. (Never was very good at expressing!)

Bit worried that DS will be jealous of baby as he still fondles my breasts for comfort! 🙈

How old will he be when baby arrives?

katherine123x · 04/03/2023 07:42

@pangolin84 what a beautiful scan!? Congratulations!!!
@VictoriaBlossom go for it!! I want feedback on how you get on 😂

BeaKind · 04/03/2023 07:58

@ttcttc he’ll be 2 years 9 months when the new one’s here 😬

ttcttc · 04/03/2023 07:59

@BeaKind hopefully he won't be too jealous of baby then 🤞🏼 still only little though. Will be a big change for him.

overgrowngrass · 04/03/2023 08:18

Congratulations @Bee1994 @THISISIT23 and @pangolin84 it’s so nice to see the lovely scan photos! 😍

I’m 6+1 today and had my first pangs of nausea yesterday, seemed to settle if I eat. Off to Oxford today for my birthday, it was supposed to be a day drinking session so if anyone has any suggestions of things to do in Oxford when pregnant they would be gratefully received!

New2thisss · 04/03/2023 09:06

Soo exciting seeing all these scan photos ❤️!

How is everyone feeling/ coping with symptoms?

I am currently 8+6 and found my symptoms have completely died down. Only getting slight nausea when I’m hungry. Starting to worry about it as my first few weeks were bad with morning sickness. I’m not sure if I am just getting used to symptoms and managing them better, if that makes sense? Anyone else feeling similar?

Chanteuse · 04/03/2023 09:06

This is my first, so I want to try breast feeding but I want to express too - anyone done this and have any tips? I don’t want to be responsible for all the night feeds and I’d like my husband/some family to be able to feed the baby too.

I was really sick last night, never felt so exhausted and was vomiting for quite a while. Then I woke up at 4am absolutely starving!! Pregnancy is so weird
