So I had the gel at 12.00 to try to get my stubborn cervix to dilate a bit more and then she was born at 1.25am because it hyper stimulated me. Wouldn't have had time to get in the pool, let alone get an epidural or anything. She was born on gas and air and a lot of swearing from me! Holy shit! She's a Feb baby!!

Congratulations @TeddyBeans!! shame about the pool but I’m sure you no longer care at this point. Hope you’re both doing well& can go home soon

Congratulations everyone that’s finally had their babies over the past couple of days - how exciting! ❤️

I was up 3 times during the night going to the loo (TMI sorry!) - each time, baby was very active and I was getting a few pains (also in back at one point). I woke this morning and have no pain however have just been to the loo and noticed the toilet paper had a pink tinge after I wiped.. I’m 37 weeks today. Should I be worried?

I had Braxton Hicks/cramping all night again, baby's feeling very low...I swear she best come by herself by my due date or we'll be having very strong words 😂

Had our final growth scan today at
38+5, baby and placenta looking all good, she was practicing breathing 🥰
Gives me so much reassurance awaiting labour that she's all good 😊

@havananana Great news! We got to see baby practicing breathing on the scan too it was really cool to see!

@LifeOfRiley1 from what I've read all can be signs of either labour or body getting ready, which though, time will tell!!

@LifeOfRiley1 hope you called the daily assessment unit, they will tell you if they need to see you.

Baby's weight has sky rocketed 😢 I don't know if I should be worried or not. Waiting to see my midwife and GD consultant now. I'm 36 weeks and was absolutely sure baby girl would stay frank breach like she has been since 12 weeks - she's turned so now I don't know what to do about the birth either. I'd been set on a c section because I thought it was a given. I really didn't want the choice 😣

This is my chart, baby is at 76th centile now, increase since last time too quite significant, but midwife said all is perfect

@ChristmasJumpers dont panic! Looks like she’s almost touching 90th centile. So yes, big - but not an absolute whopper. Mines somewhere in the high 80s centile at the moment, I’m going to wait for the final scan in 2 weeks then decide what I want to do. I know the last minute nature of things is discomforting but it will be fine!

Well we've gone ahead and decided on a c section. I was so thrown by having to actually make the choice that I got quite emotional on the midwife but deep down I've known I want a c section for a while.
These babies!! I go in expecting them to say she's too small and still breach, I come out with a head down, big baby 😂

they always throw you don’t they 🤦🏼‍♀️ my last pregnancy was a dream, and everyone says 2nd is better, so I did NOT expect half the things that have happened this time around!! At least now you know you can mentally prepare and pack high waisted knickers!!

I feel like I'm in the moaning pregnancy phase 38wks today, been feeling so rubbish this past week. So tired, got a cough that's hurting my lungs when breathing in plus headaches everyday. Midwife has checked my iron and for pre-eclampsia and all clear, I'm a low risk pregnancy always had low BP and clear urine so just feel like people think I'm just moaning.

Booked for an ELCS on 9th March but praying I go into spontaneous labour before 🤞

@Room4onemore I was back in last night for reduced movement. Hospital is 1hr 10 away so got there at 11pm, got home at 4am.
They wanted to keep me in but compromised on being monotored again today at local hospital (15mins away) baby is fine but Im struggling to feel much movement overall, she is back to back and so low too.
Waiting to see Dr but I kind of want them to say they will induce this week (Im 36 weeks tomorrow) rather than 37-38weeks.
I just feel she will be safer out than in as the reduced movements is really worrying me all the time

38weeks today and woken up with a bloody coldsore😭 was hoping baby would come early but now hoping he stays put until it’s cleared up:(
