I treated myself to a facial this morning, all the ladies at the spa are just lovely. They're all desperate for me to give birth 🤣 my therapist this morning was the same one that did my reflexology the other week and she looked so sad for me this morning when I rocked up still pregnant but absolutely elated when I told her I'm going in tonight!

My sweep has been pushed back to 2pm now. Looking forward to finding out if I've dilated any more. Would love it if they just broke my waters this evening. I'm not adverse to drugs (had everything going last time 🤣) but I'd like to at least try to go a bit more natural this time around. Unless they tell me I emphatically cannot get in the water and then it'll be all drugs going again

@TeddyBeans im just really anxious that it will go wrong. I hope my section isn’t too long away

Good for everyone having inductions and sections today!!

Pessary inserted 7 hours ago and i am contracting well...17 hours to go until they check if they can break my waters🤞

My C section went really well yesterday and we got to meet our beautiful 7lb 9oz baby boy surrounded by the most lovely team of surgeons and midwives.

24 hours later and just waiting for discharge. Only downside is baby is not interested in my flat nipples at all and loves the bottle. I'm going to try nipple shields when I get home but I think breastfeeding is probably not going to work out for us sadly. Ah well, a fed baby is the main thing

Had a sweep today at 39+2 so hopeful for some movement, otherwise induction book for Sunday at 40+1 due to baby being big. Fl

@LaForza101 congratulations! Glad to hear little man is doing well. Good luck with breastfeeding, would expressing be an option if you really wanted to give it a go? You're absolutely right that fed is best though so try not to be too disheartened if you can't bf ❤️❤️ sending loads of love

Congratulations everyone who’s met their lovely babies so far! 38+ 3 here and ready to meet him now!! Spent the morning walking the dog, chasing a toddler round and scrubbing the house from top to bottom 😅so I could happily sleep the afternoon away!

So many babies on the way!

Was back in for another BP check today and even with the medication it was back up to 145/101. Increasing dosage and going for an appointment with the consultant on Wednesday, hoping they’ll say they’ll induce me early as quite honestly I’ve had enough!

Koa Jamie Taggart born at 10.11am weighing 6lb 14oz elective section was such a different experience. The doctor told me my scar was ready to rupture so if I had of went into spontaneous Labour I'd of been in big trouble & it would of been extremely dangerous! if I have any more babies they will be delivered by 37 weeks or before. Can't believe it I only booked the section 2.5 weeks ago!

I'm starting to get worried about my scar, not booking my section in until I go overdue ....did you have any signs beforehand that there might have been an issue

I’m still not happy with her movements today but I feel stupid keep ringing for her to meet the criteria, plus I have consultant in the morning so I might just wait

Kind of disappointed with my sweep this afternoon. No progress on dilation, still 1-2cm but soft and 1.5cm long so bishop score has gone from 4.5 to 6 and I am 'ARMable'. Got back ache from it but had that last time and then nothing happened 🤷‍♀️ got to phone at 9.30 and tell them that my waters can be broken (the ARMable thing) to see if they still want me in or not. Couldn't work out if the midwife thought I would be going in or not tbh. Bleurgh

Although she did get up my lab results and there was nothing suggestions preeclampsia from the wee sample and bloods they took on Friday so that's something

Thanks so much everyone @Blocklynn I Havnt for speaking tk the doctors yet if it was a sign but my tummy was so sore and tight every time I moved it was like sharp pains but could of just been from baby stretching me to the limit! I'm only 4ft 11 my bump was just all baby!!

@TeddyBeans how annoying! At least you have reached the ARMable point, if you could do it yourself I bet you would! Lol she can’t keep you waiting too much longer surely, I’d have stern words with her! she’s obviously too comfy! Everything crossed something happens for you soon! Not your legs though…keep those as open as you like 😂
