I didnt notice my show with Dc 3&4 but did with Dc 2, It was 8pm, My waters broke 30 mins later..., contractions were about 3hrs later,baby was born within that 3hrs ! Good luck!!!

@dmb91 without knowing whst you have or the budget is what about 'non essentials' (if you dont have already ofc);

I've woke up crampy this morning I don't know if it's toilet or pregnancy related. I hope not pregnancy I really want baby to be born over weekend so DH don't have to take extra time off work 🤣

Ive been having some dull period type cramps and backache but could just be because he’s dropped as I’m only 37+1, can’t imagine feeling this uncomfortable for a few weeks!

@Rainbowbaby23 I'm 38+2 I actually have a sweep tomorrow really hoping the baby comes this weekend. Its most probably toilet related as I've been bad in this pregnancy think it's my poor diet. Can't wait to want to eat a vegetable again!

@Saltandpepperr goodluck! I wish I could get a sweep sooner than the one I’ve been offered at 39+2

I'm 35 weeks today so still quite a bit of time for us.

Thankfully my waters haven't gone yet, that would have been embarrassing on the school run! Sounds like a lovely smooth labour, I'd love mine to go like that this time round ❤️

Sounds like things are slowly starting to happen! I’m just having constant braxton hicks now, my whole back and pelvis aches and feels like a solid block that I can’t bend if that makes sense. Going to take the dog to the park shortly, really got to stay on my feet as much as possible otherwise I just seize up!

I’ve definitely gone into nesting mode, my goal for this week is to clean the fridge/freezer and de clutter the kitchen cupboards. Then I can set up the steriliser and bits and bobs to make a kind of milk station 😂

Midwife this morning and I'm really hoping she says baby is engaged as at least id then have a reason for wadding about this uncomfortable 🤣 can't imagine having another 4 weeks of this!

I'm actually terrified of my waters going on public 🤣

@Dreamingof3 i don’t think it’s ever like it’s depicted on TV.

I went into delivery last time about 14hrs into contractions and they had to break my waters, so I guess they don’t always even go that spontaneously.

Mine went after the pessary in hospital with my first, nothing with my second as planned section! I can just imagine trying to pretend nothing is going on on the school run whilst slowing getting wet legs 🤣

@TeddyBeans there's still the pick up time?? 😉 sure that's what happened to somebody on here lol
At least something is happening! May not be too much longer depending how she behaves!

Wow lots of things happening overnight and here I am still nothing lol. Hopefully things start moving along and we have a couple more babies arriving soon

False alarm for me the cramping has stopped! I just can't stand this not knowing and waiting around I feel like I have been pregnant forever!

So jealous of you both @TeddyBeans @havanamama 😂 I’m so fed up and at my 39 week appointment yesterday midwife said baby isn’t even engaged yet, which from what Dr google has said is unusual for a first pregnancy. Really feeling down in the dumps at the moment!
Hope things get moving for you both and you get to meet your little ones soon 😊

@AK93 I think you're right, think someone was in the car for nursery pick up... 😬 Hopefully not, that would be really embarrassing. I don't drive either so would have to waddle wet legged all the way home 🫠🫠🫠

@Clarps84 DS didn't engage until I was well into the induction process last time. It does happen sometimes. Nothing seems to be coming of the loss of my show so far 🤷‍♀️ still in the twilight zone

@Suchardchoccy how are you getting on? I'm hoping your absence means your sweep worked!?? Hopefully you'll be having new baby cuddles now/soon ❤️❤️

My bags are finally packed 😂. Setting the snuzpod up later and getting the car seat out, taking the Moses basket out of the mastic to let it air. Hopefully I’m not waiting until I’m induced as I really don’t want an epidural but I’m having one if induced as I know how different it is to a normal labour lol. Well I’m not convinced that she is head down so I still may end up in a c section

@Room4onemore sounds like you've had a really productive day! I'm with you on having epidural if induction is needed. Hopefully she stays head down and you can avoid the section 🤞

I’m going to ‘try’ not to have an epidural, but if I feel like I cannot continue without one then I will ask for it. Only because it’s a shoulder dystocia ‘risk factor’ and baby boy is measuring like a little hippo. Although I was heartened to read @Ubbee post that her baby turned out to be an average size after all the scary scans!

38 week midwife appointment today! Hoping to discuss colostrum harvesting and for her to give me some indication of whether baby is engaged or not. The pelvic pain over the past couple of days has been crazy but don’t know if that’s just my PGP playing up

@Moonicorn a little hippo 😍😍😍 how much is he estimated to weigh?

@BabyLimey my pgp has definitely ramped up over the last couple of weeks. She's gone from free floating to 3/5ths palp in that time so hopefully your little one is somewhat engaged too 🤞

I'm heading in for reduced movements, trying not to worry too much but I also almost went in at the end of last week until she had a couple of really active days over the weekend. It's playing on my mind that despite no evidence of growth or placenta issues at my recent scans, and she even went up the centiles, I technically missed a scan a couple of weeks ago and also should be having a midwife appointment today (but both scan and appt were pushed to next week at 37 weeks).
It's an hour away since we moved so will take the whole day but I'll only be anxious at home otherwise!
