So happy for everyone who’s already had their babies, congratulations to you all!
38+2 now and I'm so ready for little lady to make an appearance but no signs of it being anytime soon. We tried “doing the deed” last night but that doesn’t seem to have made a difference nor does the daily ball bouncing!
Intrigued to see how engaged she is at my midwife appointment on Monday x

My waters are gone but they examined me and my cervix is still closed. Baby's head is also in my ribs so just been given painkillers and antibiotics and being admitted for monitoring. I'm getting cramps now tho so think some this is happening anyway

Anyone else nearing 38 weeks and just so ready to meet their baby? I'm SO uncomfortable, baby feels incredibly low I'm literally waddling like a penguin 😫

@MoronikaFaceache yes you can refuse. I have sweep booked Thursday ill be 38+3 and induction booked at 39+4 but they told me I don't have to have either if I don't want to.

I'm just very much over it! Feel so heavy and keep getting cramps in my thighs when I try to walk 😂 it's such a delight!! Hope you're feeling ok?

Hmmm they wouldn't give me one last time until I was 40 or over (I then didn't haven't one because I laboured naturally) but just going to tell her how done I am and hope for the best 😂 x

In 8 days I have my next and final scan. Can't wait to see baby, she will be 38+5 then :)

@Saltandpepperr oh wow OK, last saw MW at 37+6 and no mention of option to have a sweep..
pretty sure I had one last time, probably wouldn’t do it again!

@JTB123 actually feeling pretty good, even with the waddling, just the odd twinge every now and again. Wouldn’t mind if she’s late; enjoying my last days of relative freedom just having DD1 around!

Has anyone has some nausea and (tmi!!) loose bowels around 36/37 weeks? Im 36+5 today and have been experiencing this today, I only had a bug 2/3 weeks ago surely I can’t be that unlucky and got another one lol

@Rainbowbaby23 I've had looser bowels for a good 3-4 weeks 🤦‍♀️ It's down to hormones increasing (relaxin I think) which makes everything, including your gut, more relaxed

@beatingheartbaby have they said anything about delivery if baby is breech?
