I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

I haven't told a soul and I've been avoiding my best friend like the plague, I feel like if she saw my face she would just know 🤣 we won't be telling anyone for a couple of months. Me and my mom don't have the greatest relationship so she's not first on my list unfortunately

Needtobuildabridge · 30/01/2023 20:57

So excited to have got this tonight! My last one ended in an early MC, and the test never got above 1-2 weeks. This just feels like such a good sign. 🥰

Congratulations!! I got my 2-3 the other day and that's the furthest I've ever got too!!! Brilliant feeling isn't it x

TealDreams · 30/01/2023 20:59

Anyone else around 4+4 and have period type cramps most of the time? I've searched it and it does say cramping is normal in early pregnancy but mine are there pretty consistently? Thanks from a very anxious person!

Beckabo · 30/01/2023 21:00

I'm so glad I'm not the only one anxious! 😅 Every time I go to the loo I'm scared there's going to be blood but so far, so good, and this time around feel a lot different than the first time! I'm so tempted to tell my sister in law but I'm making myself wait until this weekend 😂 I'm honestly terrible at keeping secrets!

Mine are definitely cramps :( like period pain x

adayatatime23 · 30/01/2023 21:30

@TealDreams from everything I’ve read cramps are still a main symptom of pregnancy for quite a bit of first trimester!

Needtobuildabridge · 30/01/2023 21:44

@TealDreams I'm 4+5 and yes, it feels like I'm about to come on - constantly! It's really disconcerting.

We're quite similar then with background, symptoms and how far! Fingers crossed for both of us 🥰

It's reassuring to know you feel the same, this is such a scary time it's nice to know there is someone else on the same journey xXx

Hi, yes I get the cramps in my back! They come and go and it's not constant but I had a strong one last night but so far so good.
I've also had cramps in my back instead of elsewhere on my period too so it is unnerving!

Countrybean · 31/01/2023 07:03

Hello! Hope its okay to join?
Got a BFP over the weekend... and kept testing because I just couldnt believe it 😂
4+2 today- due 8th oct and this is number 2 for us.
Had raging hyperemesis last time which started at about 6 weeks. Got an early scan booked already, alongside all my meds 🫣

Mintykat · 31/01/2023 07:48

Hi - am I ok to join?
A little unsure of dates but either 4/5 weeks along following and IUD failing and miscarriage last month. We were always planning on TTC this year but it all happening so quickly is a lot to take in. So glad to feel informed and more incontrol in current situation!

I have a six year old boy and had HG in that pregnancy so feeling quite anxious on that front. From reading the thread it seems a few of us in this boat too!

Chanteuse · 31/01/2023 09:30

This might be a silly question but how do you know your weeks/days? For example, my app says I’m 3+6 (pregnancy+), but Premom says 4+1, which I’m more inclined to a green with because I’m 15dpo?

BambiBooBoo · 31/01/2023 09:30

Hi 👋
I've been reading the posts but finally joining- I was anxious as don't want anything to go wrong with this pregnancy as it's my 4th pregnancy but 2nd baby as had MMC, chemical then my rainbow 🌈

NHS website is saying I'm 3weeks3 as I've been having long cycles) and I have a 14month old boy

Only my DH and I know. I'm waiting to hear from midwife. Will be asking for a early scan around 6weeks5 or 7 weeks as I saw DS heartbeat at 6weeks4
I don't speak to any of my family at ALL so I'm dying to tell my MIL and FIL as they are my parents now- but I'm worried something will go wrong ...

The first day of your last period is day 1 lovely 💗 that's the most reliable if you don't know your exact conception day xx

Itsokaymama · 31/01/2023 09:40

Is anyone getting a horrible indigestion/heartburn type feeling? Confused

afinethingindeed · 31/01/2023 09:44

Heeey everyone, I'd like to join.. found out yesterday. I'm only 3+4 today so it's crazy early. Anxiety levels are high. Almost wish I hadn't tested so early and maybe just waited a bit longer...
Hows everyone feeling? X

Halpmer · 31/01/2023 10:11

Hi everyone, I put an online request in for the GP just to try get ahead of nausea this time... I didn't expect a response for a few days but they called already to offer an appointment this evening! Good timing since I had my first real wave of nausea this morning.

Needtobuildabridge · 31/01/2023 12:26

@Chanteuse what's the first date of your last period?

OP posts:
Rabbithole27 · 31/01/2023 13:22

Hey everyone 👋🏼 I think I’m just over 5 weeks so some of my apps say September and the others say October so I’ve been a bit cheeky and been on the due sept group too but I think you ladies are a lot closer to my due dates!
Im still getting cramps and also a lot of lower back pain. I always knew this time would be anxiety provoking but never realised just how much so! I worry all day every day whilst trying to remind myself just to take each day as it comes!

BambiBooBoo · 31/01/2023 13:34

Is anyone else not FEELING very pregnant?
I'm not really having any symptoms today and it's scaring me that I'm going to have another MC 😩

My line progression is good, so that's calming me a little bit

Bottom clear blue is 29th FMU
Top clear blue is 30th FMU
2nd pic is today PM- not FMU

@TealDreams so many cramps but very randomly. Rolling over in bed I seem to get them, almost like a pulled muscle. It's really quite disconcerting but when I haven't had any for a while I worry!

@afinethingindeed congratulations! I agree, I wish I hadn't tested so early. I'm very anxious already and I'm 4+4/13dpo. I keep testing and stressing that the lines aren't getting any darker.
