I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

I had some major vivid dreams last night. Then I was up ages as couldn't go back to sleep

Having brown spotting again but it's more than the other day. But the GP is shut 😩 so unsure what to do

@katherine123x hey lovely! I did one Thursday and got 1-2 weeks and then this morning got 2-3 weeks! If you have already done your morning pee id do one tomorrow morning ❤️ going to do another one next Saturday to hopefully see the 3+

Hey! It's been theee longest couple of weeks. It's been 6months since we started our journey and can't believe we have got to this point. Can't help gettin excited already but just looking forward to some reassurance on Monday! Congratulations to you too! Xx

@Hopefulx and @katherine123x - I had 1-2 on CB on Thursday morning and today did it and got 2-3. So we are similar! Although I’ve also read that they can be unreliable so I wouldn’t read too much into it if the numbers don’t change!

@katherine123x we are telling immediate family only this weekend - I’m going mad overthinking things and worrying and want to chat with my mum! I know if this doesn’t work out (please fingers crossed touch wood it does!) then I’ll be glad they know to support us :)

@Beemug thank you. I'm guna tell parents this weekend too just read so many other people don't. I know it's up to us but I know that I will feel better after!!

We've told my parents (DH's are no longer with us), our siblings and our best friends. I need the support network and know if anything were to happen we'd have all the love we needed ♥️

@katherine123x you’re definitely not alone in wanting to tell people! I’ve told my parents, my two best friends and some people at work (I’m a nurse so there’s a lot I can’t do/need to be careful with now!) always best to have that support system x

@Bee1994 I had to tell my boss too as I work in a pharmacy and can't dispense or go near a lot of medications now.

I wake up every 2 hours from 4.30am but have to force myself to go back to sleep (til 6.30 weekdays and I managed til 8.30 today) otherwise I am too tired to function by lunchtime! I’ve got to blend my not drinking at a hen party today - wish me luck!

@BambiBooBoo have you phoned your local EPU for advice? They were lovely to me when I phoned for my spotting. Thankfully it’s stopped now and everyone I’ve spoken to said they experienced some spotting in the first trimester.

@Chanteuse every time I call I can't get through to anyone. Last time they weren't helpful to me at all. Especially as it was a weekend and they "won't do anything until week day"

Having a support network is definitely worth it.

@Beemug I don’t know exactly as my periods are a bit irregular! I thought due around 20th October meaning 4+1 today. ClearBlue test today said 2-3weeks post conception…so that would be 4-5 weeks pregnant..which could fit!
How about you?

@Beemug ah we are around the same ish then.

I wasn’t sure either as every calculator and flo was telling me something different but went to EPU for an early location scan yesterday and after giving them my dates and cycle length they’ve put me at 4w5d but I think I may be a few days behind that. I guess only time will tell.

@Natacat I'm having awful trouble sleeping, waking up every hour or so sweating and then wide awake from like 5:30/6am 😴

@katherine123x Definitely tell your parents for support. I told mine during the week and they've been great. I also woke with a bit of anxiety today, had a bad dream last night too. The first few months are going to be tough.

@AlongcameLainey i know it does seem all a bit vague and better to go with “mid October” or “end of October” instead! :)

what’s everyone’s thoughts on getting an early heartbeat scan? Is anyone going to pay for this privately (if not being seen in ivf clinic or Epagu)?

@Beemug it definitely does.

I had a 6 weeks scan with my little girl due to an ectopic previous to her and I’ll likely have another 6 week scan this time because I’m under the care EPU.

if I wasn’t though I would definitely have a 7 week private scan I think! x

@Beemug my hubby really wants to go to a early scan for reassurance which I think will do. I think it'll help sort of accept this is real if that makes ANY sense!

@katherine123x that definitely makes sense. I think that’s partly why I kept doing tests even though I know I’m pregnant!

@AlongcameLainey me too. They couldn't possibly get any stronger but it's like a sanity check for us ... 😂 ridiculous really!! I never thought I would be this anxious about it all!

@Beemug I really want to book an early scan just to check for a heartbeat but my partner doesn't which is putting me off booking. I'm on the website everyday checking and then I get to payment and don't complete the form🤦‍♀️
