I thought I'd make this for anyone receiving their BFPs in the next few weeks!

Currently exactly 4 weeks. Still super early, especially after an early MC last time, but fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

@braxxen Hello fellow endo sister 👋also feeling the anxiety as I'm so used to things going wrong. I have no real food aversions as of yet, just feeling very nauseous and crampy so finding it hard to bring myself to eat. Snacking on tucs for now.

braxxen · 09/02/2023 21:33

@iloveeggs
I've booked an early scan for Sunday at 7 weeks. Hoping it will give me some reassurance.
Tucs sound like a good idea! I was eating Jacobs crackers at 3am last night as I couldn't sleep.

pangolin84 · 09/02/2023 21:36

Hi all. Another newbie here, although I recognise @monsteramunch from the TTC board 👋 I think what you’re describing could be a corpus luteum/ovarian cyst. I remember having some jabbing pain like that with my DS.

In short I’m very nervous about this pregnancy. Had a MC in 2019, DS in 2020, then a MMC in June last year and two CPs since then. Just got a 3+ on CB weeks indicator today and I’m approx 5+2. Praying this one sticks around. Also, I’m 38 so know there’s more chance of things going wrong.
Hope everyone is doing ok x

monsteramunch · 09/02/2023 21:42

That's great you had a 3+ result @pangolin84!

I was cheering you on from a few weeks before I got my own positive test so pleased to see a familiar name joining what already seems like a lovely board Flowers

Thanks for the reassurance that there are other reasons for pains that aren't the worst outcome, it really helps for someone who is a first timer like me!

Natacat · 09/02/2023 21:48

Definitely with everyone else on how slow this first week has gone.

Feeling so anxious having heard nothing at all.
We have to self refer here and it’s just an online form, I just want to phone someone and book an appointment but it isn’t the way.
It isn’t helping my imposter syndrome of assuming that my 20 positive tests are all wrong!!

SillyOldBear3 · 09/02/2023 21:50

Joining you ladies on here 🥹 strong BFP on a FRER today at 11dpo. I had a chemical in December so a little nervous, but trying to remain positive. I'm 34 and this would be our first. Lovely reading your stories, sending lots of positive vibes! ✨

Kat32x · 09/02/2023 22:29

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind if I join :) I'm currently 6w +1, it's my second 😊 really glad I've found this group! I thought I'd share my experience, I tested positive around 3 weeks ago and on the same day I called my GP (as I tested positive for COVID a day before, so was a bit concerned). I got GP appointment after a few days , only had a small chat, no blood test, just calculated my due date and told me about vitamins to take etc and I was told to self refer to midwifes online when I'm 6 weeks. I did that on Monday, haven't heard back yet but I was shocked that yesterday I already received my NHS letter (online) with my first 12 week scan date! So now waiting to hear back from midwifes as apparently they need to book me in for a 8-10 week blood test 🥴 also, i have my private scan booked for when I'm 8 weeks, can't wait! Hope it all goes smooth and well for everybody 🥰🎉

braxxen · 10/02/2023 06:02

Out of interest, I self referred to the hospital two weeks ago and ive heard nothing. Should I self refer again? How long did it take them to contact you if you also have to self refer? I'm 7 weeks on Monday and feel like I've been ignored by medical professionals so far!

AlongcameLainey · 10/02/2023 06:13

@braxxen ooh that’s a long wait. I would call the community midwife unit nearest to you and chase up I think x

Natacat · 10/02/2023 06:16

I don’t think I could handle two weeks waiting to hear back, definitely don’t have that level of patience.

katherine123x · 10/02/2023 06:21

@braxxen I self referred yesterday morning and had an email back in the afternoon. Check your junk folder in case!! 🙂

braxxen · 10/02/2023 06:43

@katherine123x Was your email from the NHS?

katherine123x · 10/02/2023 06:46

It was from the trust I referred to!

katherine123x · 10/02/2023 06:46

@braxxen forgot to tag ..

amybooth · 10/02/2023 06:48

I self referred and I got an email when the hospital had been linked to my pregnancy notes, when I logged on I had been assigned a community midwife.
A few days later I logged on and my booking in appointment has been added onto the appointments list which was previously empty- no call or letter of contact from anyone i just happened to find it as I was obsessing about find out my appointments so I have something to aim for xx

Shayisgreat · 10/02/2023 07:19

I think I'm having a miscarriage. Started bleeding overnight and was cramping yesterday. At 9.30 last night I suddenly stopped feeling tired and headachy so I think it's over for me this time.

katherine123x · 10/02/2023 07:31

@Shayisgreat so sorry to read this! Please remember light bleeding can be normal! 🤞🏻

JJ2023 · 10/02/2023 08:05

Hi everyone, joining you all on here. I got my BFP on Monday (3w + 3) Today I’m now 4w. Due date 20th Oct

JJ2023 · 10/02/2023 08:24

@Shayisgreat sorry to hear this. I echo what @katherine123x says x

katherine123x · 10/02/2023 08:26

@JJ2023 exact same dates as me! How you feeling?

JJ2023 · 10/02/2023 08:35

@katherine123x aw wow! I’m feeling ok thanks, tired but not sure if it’s because of this or because work has been busy this week (which is a normal thing!) I did have brownish CM from Mon- Weds but that’s stopped now. I had felt implantation twinges etc the week before so presume it was from implantation.

How are you doing? :)

monsteramunch · 10/02/2023 08:56

Oh @Shayisgreat I really hope that it's not bad news, thinking of you FlowersFlowersFlowers

iloveeggs · 10/02/2023 09:07

@Shayisgreat Thinking of you 💕

MsSandyToes · 10/02/2023 09:12

@Shayisgreat I've got my fingers crossed for you 🌻

katherine123x · 10/02/2023 09:20

@JJ2023 ahhhh yes sounds like implantation! I'm ok v tired and bloated. That's it really!! Trying to get my head round jt all!
