@havanamama can't say I've experienced that one, no. Usually all pressure is off when I lay down

OP posts:
Rose429 · 11/02/2023 16:56

@havanamama I got the pain around my pubic bone, but not down to my leg. Only the left side is really painful when I lie down and turn to the left. Talked to my midwife and she said there’s a medical condition with those symptoms but is the pain is on both side. I just put it as one of those pregnancy things that you need to power through haha

TeddyBeans · 11/02/2023 21:21

We made it through our valentine dinner! 🥳🥳 Fair game now little lady!

Don't know if it's a sign but literally this afternoon I'm constantly going to the toilet 🙃 TMI I know but jheeez, I've never been so frequently in one day! 😅

It can be a sign - they calm it the "clear out" I wouldn't go far from home now lol

Eastybaby19 · 11/02/2023 22:28

@TeddyBeans any more signs?
I've been having crazy braxton hicks this evening and really annoying lightening crotch pains again, also feels like a dull ache in lower back/pelvis etc comes and goes. 37 weeks today so officially full term 🤷‍♀️

TeddyBeans · 11/02/2023 23:20

@Eastybaby19 not much, no. Had a long cramp low down in my bump since getting into bed but it's eased off now. Funny how we've gone full circle and are back to symptom spotting!

JTB123 · 11/02/2023 23:30

@TeddyBeans Glad you got through your valentines dinner! I don't dare venture out for a a meal this year, I have visions of my waters breaking no matter where I am...😂 chippy tea for me probably!

TeddyBeans · 11/02/2023 23:36

@JTB123 can't go wrong with a chippy tea!

Based on this probability calculator I still have a good chance of growing baby in my tummy till the end of the month at least 😂

TeddyBeans · 12/02/2023 01:18

@havanamama that's an interesting calculator, wonder where they get their percentages from 🤔

I've just got into the bath, can't sleep so figured I may as well relax and not piss off DP with my constant shuffling about. The crampy feeling is coming and going but I don't think it's anything significant. Will see how I fare after my soak

Choc2022 · 12/02/2023 01:44

@TeddyBeans I'm glad you got through your dinner!!

Had a lazy day, went shopping, found nothing in the shops, felt faint, came home had takeaway and laid on the sofa since. Im 34.3 but feel exhausted... I can't imagine getting any bigger than I am..NOTHING fits!!

iratepirate · 12/02/2023 06:58

Away seeing friends this weekend and we did parkrun yday and also quite a lot of walking so by the time I went to bed I was really feeling the PGP. Not so bad this morning, though and think today will be a bit more gentle, off to explore a NT property nearby.

Hoping it eases off for the drive home anyway, as it’s a few hours in the car.

Room4onemore · 12/02/2023 07:53

Well I’ve nearly finished painting my bedroom, snuzpod mattress came yesterday so I just need to give the snuzpod a scrub and that will be ready, and my Moses basket is due to be delivered tomorrow so I will be ready for her any time after then if she decides to come early lol

JB2021 · 12/02/2023 08:34

@iratepirate glad I'm not the only one still doing parkrun! Slowly slowly but still doing it - between 45 and 50 minutes now! Which did you do?

iratepirate · 12/02/2023 08:43

@JB2021 touristing this weekend at Huntingdon as I’m staying with friends.

JB2021 · 12/02/2023 08:45

@iratepirate we were on our way back from a break away do did Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Hats off to you still doing park run! - I gave that up many, many months ago this time 🤣

iratepirate · 12/02/2023 08:54

@JTB123 making the most of still being able to; my PGP was so bad last time around that it had stopped me running by about 20wks!

I don't know how to describe it, but has anyone felt like their whole vagina, everything between legs hurts. similarly to how period feels?

I have this pain laying down

Yes I’ve been getting this on and off. TMI but we had some bed sheets time other night and I was contracting and in pain till the next day. Braxton hicks every 5 mins really tight and aching to my hips and lower back and period type pain plus pain / aching and pressure down below.
I rung labour ward and they said it can be normal at this stage as uterus is super sensitive to everything in last few weeks as it’s ‘preparing’.
safe to say we won’t be having any alone time in bed now for a while as it didn’t calm down for 24 hours. I have c section booked in two weeks so really don’t want to go into labour before as I want it to be a calm controlled experience 😂🤞🏻

On another note after my experience 😂 I can see how sex could bring on labour to people who are at due date as it did mad things to my body. So maybe those that are 40 weeks and not wanting to go over could I give it a go? 😬🤣

havanamama · 12/02/2023 10:39

@TeddyBeans I think there's sources to statistics they base it on at the bottom of that site

Morning!

I'm struggling with carpal tunnel for 2 weeks now. It's so uncomfortable! Ugh 😑
Oddly I don't have any pain in my wrists, only finger joint pain and swelling at night

Blocklynn · 12/02/2023 11:08

@JB2021 I’m walking parkrun now, we did Beeston yesterday, so jealous of people running. I marched round in just over 44 minutes.

@Blocklynn i ran walked in 46:28 but it included a hill you did twice!

I avoided the 3 lap course we could have walked to from our accommodation as being lapped so many times would have been awful!
