Got my 34W midwife appointment today and my urine showed 1+ glucose. She warned me if the next time if it happens again I’ll have to do another GTT which I dread! Stay away from brioche with vanilla swirl before appointment ladies 😂

Sooo at 33+3 my waters have gone and had a big bleed, on monitors now whilst they decide what to do... feeling totally unprepared xx

@Blocklynn yeah my DP seemed suprised that mothers day could be a thing this year. Im sooo ready to receive the cute, maybe tacky to some, 'best mum' tat.

I have been SOOO moody and cranky today.

To help with being more regular? Interesting, I like kiwis.

I cannot stand dates I wonder if dried apricots will work ha! I have got some raspberry leaf tea I've been on the ball every night and going for walks I'm hoping that once I have my stitch out Monday things start happening as I'll be over 37 weeks and it's half term so just much more convenient. We haven't got any friends or family in our village the closest is my mum 40 min drive away and then it's another 25 min drive to hospital so super anxious about this side of things with the kids when I go into labour.

@Blocklynn Yes kiwis help me with constipation. I normally go every day but there was one day nothing came out, so I ate normally plus 3 yellow kiwis and boom! Next day toilet trip was an ease.

Such a shame they’re quite expensive now. Morrisons is the only supermarket around me that has yellow kiwis but the price has gone from £1.25 for 3 last month to £1.75 today, so can only save them for rainy days.

Had steroid injection for baby's lungs and antibiotics, they gave me some pethadine for pain relief as had started contracting, cervix was still closed so they want to wait it out and see how long baby will stay happy for, hoping baby stays put a while longer to get full benefits of steroids for lungs.

These babies are sure sent to try us! Xx

it’s just dawned on me that the babies could literally be here anytime and I am so not ready for little lady yet

Positive points about being in the wide awake club is that I’ve finally ordered my Moses basket and snuzpod mattress and sheets so I think that is everything now. So no surprises from my little lady till after Monday please when they get delivered 😂
