Due September 2023 after miscarriage 🌈

Hello ladies
I'm 44 and had 4 previous miscarriages..... Found out last wk I'm pregnant and incredibly anxious after so many losses and my age. Lack of symptoms aren't helping besides the stretching twinges.

Is anyone joining me in this journey?

Sorry to hear about the stress with your CB test. @localbunny I’ve found them very stressful myself this time around. When I didn’t get the 3+ I was expecting at 5 weeks, I just refused to buy any more. But I was so distressed at first. It’s so hard when we’re looking for any sign or indicator that things are going well in the pregnancy and this time everything is going to work out okay. 🌈 I do hope you get a more reassuring result tomorrow morning. 💓

@CaliGirl47 thanks so much ☺️ I definitely won't buy any more that's for sure. I read somewhere that there's a reason the NHS use blood tests to measure hcg levels which did put my mind at ease a bit. Happily though I did get a 3+ this morning (which is a relief to see at 6+6ish!). Fingers crossed for scan on Tuesday now ☺️

I’m having an extremely stressful couple of days with sleepless nights. First we had police/ambulance and air ambulance at the front of our street overnight a couple of nights ago which caused a lack of sleep and now my little cat has gone missing, so if this pregnancy survives this, baby is sure going to be a fighter!! Expecting any moment to start bleeding and wouldn’t be surprised at all. Just keeping my fingers crossed that the pregnancy continues and my little cat comes home safe 🤞🏼

@Houseelf90 that sounds really stressful, and everything is a lot worse when we are tired isn’t it. Harder to keep the anxiety at bay.

I’ve been feeling absolutely terrible since last week. I’m on nausea meds now but it’s only helping to an extent. I still have phases where I feel like I can’t cope with how bad I feel. Also super tired and emotional. Very worried about how to cope at work. OH and I have joked what if it’s twins. Honestly, I was hoping for nausea when I had no symptoms but I didn’t imagine it being this bad. 😥

That sounds really rough @Houseelf90 I’m sorry that it has been such a stressful time for you. I really hope you get your cat back soon. 🙂

I hope your nausea settles down for you @HopefulBee glad you have asked for help and got some meds. I do hope it brings you some relief. Otherwise maybe GP could try an alternative medicine? I don’t have any experience with this. It just seems a shame to have to suffer through it. Sending hugs 💓

I had a second reassurance scan today which placed me 2 days ahead. Currently 9+6 and still haven’t self referred myself to antenatal. Atm due date is looking to be 2nd September. Will probably change again at 12 weeks scan if I ever refer on time.

@HopefulBee @ @CaliGirl47 thank you, I just feel so helpless. He’s a nervous little thing so he will be petrified out there. Luckily I wasn’t working today but I don’t know how I will cope with work on Monday if he’s not back by then 😔

Hope it's okay to join ❤️ I'm 7w2d with EDD of 20th Sept. Had a MMC, a MC and a CP last year, so feeling very anxious (as I'm sure you all are too!) Trying to take each day as a blessing at the moment x

@Luna57 amazing news! I have my first midwife appointment next week - should be about 7+5 by then. Are you wanting to hold off?

I'm feeling okay - quite a bit of weird pain on one side which I'm hoping is a cyst rather than an ectopic symptom! No bleeding with it as of yet... Scan will answer everything!

@Goneaboutthiswrong @localbunny i was putting it off until my scan today, just convinced it would be bad news for some reason. The midwife today really urged me to do my self referral today so I get an appointment around the GA it needs to be at

Thank you everyone, you’re all very kind. I’m stressing about stressing and I know it’s no good for the pregnancy but doesn’t make it any easier not to worry!

@localbunny meant to be 9 weeks tomorrow 😞 it's brown for now, but enough to seep on to a pad and not just when wiping. It's terrifying!

Oh @Tinkerbell098 I’m so sorry to hear what you are going through. Hopefully it will be nothing and it settles down soon for you. Is it possible to phone your ivf clinic for some reassurance or your EPU? They say that brown blood is old blood. So it could be something irritated your cervix as opposed to anything wrong with baby. But I know it’s so scary to see anything at all. If it’s any consolation I had some brown bleeding in 1st trimester in my healthy pregnancy with DD. Still don’t know what caused it, but she turned out perfectly fine. Sending hugs. X

Hey ladies I hope you're all OK, sorry to read about the ladies having issues. I know how stressful it all is.

I had my my 6 wk scan at 6+5 and there was fetal pole with HB measuring 6 wks, so 5 days behind.

Had another scan yesterday at 8+5 still a strong HB but only measuring 7+1. Consultant said the growth rate is fine as its tripled in size but I have a bad gut feeling.

All 4 off my previous losses were behind. I know early scanning can be inaccurate but trying not to worry is impossible 🙄

Little cat has come home this morning, so that’s one less thing to stress about!!

@Furbabymum15 bless you, it’s such a worrying time isn’t it, but the growth sounds good, you have to just try and hold on to that, and the fact the consultant wasn’t concerned. Fingers crossed for you! X

I've just started bleeding quite badly with some clots so I do believe miscarriage number 5 is on its way. EPU won't see me cos I'm not filling 3 pads an hour 🙄
