Due September 2023 after miscarriage 🌈

Hello ladies
I'm 44 and had 4 previous miscarriages..... Found out last wk I'm pregnant and incredibly anxious after so many losses and my age. Lack of symptoms aren't helping besides the stretching twinges.

Is anyone joining me in this journey?

Thank you for all your well wishes, everything went well at the scan. I have a subchorionic haematoma which is causing the bleed, it’s now very small in size so hoping the bleed is over for now. Baby is measuring 8+4 and I saw its little heart beating away! I’ve got a follow up scan in 2 weeks time.
I’m so happy as I was expecting bad news today but thanks for your support everyone 💕

I'm feeling worried today. I'm 6+3ish, and felt very sick yesterday and on and off the past week or so, but today... nothing. Has anyone else's sort of come in waves? Have a scan booked next Tuesday and it cannot come quickly enough.

@localbunny It’s totally understandable that you would feel worried. In my experience symptoms seem to come and go. But if you’re really concerned you could always phone your midwife or GP. Or local EPU if they take self referrals (mine doesn’t) hopefully your symptoms resume in full swing soon 😁😆

I went in and they found an empty gs, they think there may be the beginnings of a yolk sac but aren't 100%. They have reduced my percentage chance of ectopic and the status is now pregnancy of unknown viability. Sac is measuring 5+3 and empty when I should be 6+3.

Still in limbo ladies. Another scan next week.

@Goneaboutthiswrong I'm so happy for you, what an amazing day. Hope the bleeding stops and you can start to relax.

@Passenger87 sorry to hear the sack is empty. It must be so difficult to be stuck not knowing what's happening or if the pregnancy is viable. Be kind to yourself for the next week.

@localbunny my gosh - I feel the same. My symptoms are completely up and down. I had no symptoms for a week and the the past several days I had been sick every day. Today - nothing again. I'm trying really hard to focus on not symptom spotting, but it is just so hard when you can't hide from how you're feeling as it is part of you and always there in your mind. I'm about the same number of days as you so hopefully it's perfectly normal as we are both experiencing the same.

I’m so sorry @Passenger87 did they give you your 2nd blood work results? is the HCG rising? I know how awful it can be to be stuck in limbo. I’m so sorry.😪 Please do look after yourself and be kind to yourself. I hope this next week flies by for you. X

Everything seems borderline! @CaliGirl47 yes first were 330 and second was 550. So 68% increase in 48 hours.

@Passenger87 sorry about the scan, but that is positive news about the HCG increasing. Hopefully your next scan will give you some better answers 🤞🏼

@localbunny I’m the same with symptoms! Last week I needed to pee every 2 hours, then over the weekend I could go much longer, and today I feel like I need to pee straight after I’ve been! I was sick 2 nights in a row and felt sick either side of this and now I just have nausea on and off - Monday felt terrible; yesterday fine and today slightly nauseous!

@localbunny it definitely helps knowing that others are the same with the symptoms! I am SO bloated today that I feel like I’ll need maternity jeans for the bloat, not a bump 🤣

I am so anxious tonight. My scan is tomorrow. I'm another one with no symptoms :( 6+3 today

So sorry to hear that @Passenger87 , I’ve been there, the wait is very rough.

@localbunny I’ve only today started to get symptoms, feeing very very nauseous, but my tiredness has disappeared so I think it’s just swings and roundabouts

@localbunny I’ve hardly had any symptoms at all, I’m tired all the time but other than that - nothing! Try not to worry @BEL88 and good luck for your scan tomorrow

So after my symptoms stopped yesterday I had my consultant meeting and I'm going to the EPAU today for another scan.
Still no pregnancy symptoms, but I've come down poorly and I have tested positive for covid. So now I'm really worried the covid has impacted the pregnancy.
The EPAU have said for me to still go for the scan, so should have some answers later today but I'm feeling incredibly anxious.

@Passenger87 how are you feeling today?

Had scan but to go back in two weeks. There was a sac measuring 5+5 but couldn't see anything in it. I should be around 6+4 from doing ovulation tests so not sure what to think. I've been prescribed aspirin and progesterone pessaries

This is so hard to go through. I really want this but I'm just not thinking it's going to happen. I don't want to go through another mmc

@BEL88 we seem to be in a similar position, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Today I am ok, trying not to think about it too much and am pretty busy so thats helpful. Worried once I sit down the mind will start to race

I wish it was easier to be pregnant after loss. The stress just feels so much more.
I remember the first time I was pregnant I didn't have any worries. It was only for a few days before I miscarried but they were so joyful. This time I have been stressed since day 1 and it just hasn't let up. It's impossible to relax and enjoy it, however much I have been trying to.
To know we are all having that same stressful and anxious time just makes me wish it was possible to remove all those anxious feelings for us all so we can relax and enjoy it.

@pinkpirlie @BEL88 sorry to hear you're both having a difficult time, I absolutely know what you mean about the stress of pregnancy after challenges and loss 💗

I just did a CB test in the middle of the afternoon, which is clearly v daft of me, and still getting 2-3 weeks. Got the same on my last one 2 weeks ago. Mind is running rings around me. Going to try again in the morning and see what it says...

Sorry to hear about what you are going through @BEL88 I really hope the next scan brings you some good news. 💐

It’s so true what you’ve said @pinkpirlie It’s so hard to feel any joy or excitement at the minute, when it feels like I am holding my breath. It’s so hard when everything is so uncertain. I really hope in a month or two we can all breathe a bit easier. 💓🌈
