Happy Valentines Day ladies!! 💝

@Leezo Yeah I think it might be that, she has more around her mouth this morning and some on her hands (and also her knees?!). I've ruled out chicken pox based on the location and look of rash. It's quite mild though. She's a bit fussy today but otherwise not too bad x

pizzawinecake · 14/02/2023 11:47

I have my 20 week scan this Thurs (though I'll be 19 weeks) and the scanxiety has already started to build. Anyone else get this? I'm terrified they'll say something isn't right

I have my 20 week scan on Friday and I am petrified! I am so scared they will find something wrong.
I am also so excited to see our little squish on the screen again, but then sad it will be our last scan 😭 so many mixed emotions!

Good luck for your scan!

squirrelnutkins1 · 14/02/2023 12:42

All the best for upcoming scans!

Scanxiety needs to be added to the dictionary! So real. Mines next Friday. Excited to see my boy again but nervous too.

rach971 · 14/02/2023 12:54

Random question... 🙈😂

Does anyone else have firmer boobs one day and the next they're soft? Mine seem to flit between the two. Some days they're quite firm, some days they're soft and squishy.

Same with my bump tbh, some days that seems firmer and some days softer but I think that's more dependant on what I've eaten/bloating

wishing all the mama’s to be a very happy Valentine’s Day!

The rare time in our lives we will have 2 hearts beating inside us (or more for multiple pregnancies!) hope everyone has a lovely relaxed day today

💖💙

This is so beautiful 😭 Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

Hope your DD is ok, @Rutennotou, it’s horrible when they’re ill 😢

@pizzawinecake Scanxiety is SO real. I have a private gender scan on Thursday and am so so nervous for it. Friends are asking if I’m excited but I really am not!

Good luck with all of the upcoming 20 week scans, I can’t believe they’re coming around already!! Mine’s not until 10th March (the day I turn 20 weeks) but I’m sure it’ll be here before I know it!

@rach971 Ive definitely noticed that mine are fuller and heavier some days than they are others. They’re currently soooo heavy and full 😖

Amyp1234 · 14/02/2023 16:12

Random question - anyone experienced vaginal cramps / ache that last 1 hour max? Not painful can just feel its there.

Yeah I’m getting a bit of an ache there too sometimes. Not very painful, just achey and a bit crampy, on and off.

I had my 20 week scan yesterday and thankfully everything was fine. Having another girl ☺️

Amyp1234 · 15/02/2023 08:14

Thank you for replying. Did you speak to anyone about it? Been so worried it means something is wrong as I cannot really find my symptoms online.

Random question. Anyone who's been suffering from constipation (or maybe those who haven't too), have any of you got a constant ache across the top of your bum? It doesn't even make any sense. But it's uncomfortable to sit on (and I work at a desk), it's uncomfortable when I go to the toilet, and sometimes feels bruised but it's not. I thought it would ease off but I've had it a good couple of weeks now.

Thank you for replying. Reassuring me that it's normal. Because I cannot find anything on Google I've been stressing that something is wrong. I haven't no, how do you get tested without ringing to ask with no symptoms? My midwife only done protein wee tests with me.

Rutennotou · 15/02/2023 10:57

I had cheese on toast for breakfast this morning...you can add cheese to the list of stuff I no longer eat 🤢. Ate the first slice no problem and half way through the second all I could taste was mould. It all reappeared seconds later 🤣.

DD 21 months wee legs are absolutely covered in a rash now. She was scratching when I was changing her so gonna try calamine lotion I think. She's so grumpy and clingy, understandably 🥲

AnxiousAnnie94 · 15/02/2023 11:38

@Amyp1234 yes I have had this full aching there a few times, even more so after sex.

Whilst we are on the topic of vaginas ...
Has anyone noticed that they are swollen 'down there' since hitting second trimester? It all just seems bigger than it was and it's getting me down a bit as it's making me feel unattractive, my DH says it's fine and it doesn't make any difference to him. But is this pregnancy related and will it go back to normal once baby is here? 🤣

dunkedbiscuit · 15/02/2023 12:04

@Amyp1234 my mum friends from having my first affectionately referred to this as ‘fanny daggers’ 😂 as it described the feeling so well! Pretty normal from what I gather

RandomCatGenerator · 15/02/2023 12:40

Amyp1234 · 15/02/2023 08:14

@RandomCatGenerator

No - but mostly because I got the same last pregnancy. It got more so later on once the baby had turned and the ache is caused by the baby’s head. If you’re concerned, absolutely speak to your midwife though. For me, I think it’s normal.

@habiller I'm glad it's not just me!! I hope it goes back to normal haha

Amyp1234 · 15/02/2023 15:17

Thank you. Going to get some strips today and see how I get on. I've had the feeling all day today. Like i said it's not painful. I wonder if baby is laid on something that is causing it.

Omg I am so glad you said that because I was looking down there today and thinking exactly the same 😂😂😂😂

BackOfTheMum5net · 15/02/2023 21:32

Does anyone have any advice on pregnancy pillows? I’m getting uncomfortable at night and thinking I need one, but seriously overwhelmed by the choice!
I’m a side sleeper anyway, but starting to get woken up by stiff hips and I guess the growing weight of my belly…
