Faint Positive?

Previous thread today - 4 days late and was testing negative. I haven’t tested on my first urine of the day on any tests. But this afternoon I THINK i’ve got a faint positive, so used the same urine sample to do digital and it took ages (thought it was broken tbh) and come up ‘not pregnant’. I have attached photo’s underneath. My friend also then darkened my photo and it is a lot clearer. What would you do going from here - Test again in a few days with first urine of the day? Wait till a week or so?

Looks like a faint line to me! Have you got any more tests to test your first wee tomorrow morning?

cgwx · 01/01/2023 13:59

@1000yellowdaisies i didn’t believe it at first as it didn’t come up straight away but was around second minute and could start to see ‘something’. Strange digital hasn’t picked it up. I haven’t!!! 😫 but will go out and get some more tomorrow and do it on the morning after urine. Not sure whether to do clear blue or stick with First Response.

Test again yes, did you take the photos within the recommended time frame? Remember that the result line can darken as time goes on so you have to disregard any lines after about 10 mins x

allgoodthings84 · 01/01/2023 14:03

unless it’s the clear blue early digital then it’s a lot less sensitive than first response so a faint line on a first response wouldn’t yet show up as pregnant on a standard clear blue digital

DashingWhiteSergeant · 01/01/2023 14:06

I can see a line

Emmamoo89 · 01/01/2023 14:09

I can see a line x

mummatara · 01/01/2023 14:17

I can see a line I would stick to the same first response test so you can see a difference in the line strength

Room4onemore · 01/01/2023 14:38

I can see a line, the clear blue digital is a lot less sensitive so takes longer to get a positive

GoT1904 · 01/01/2023 14:44

It takes a while to get a pos on a digital after you get one on a first response.

Is it the early response one? I definitely see the line!! I'd take another one tomorrow or the day after but it looks good to me.

cgwx · 01/01/2023 14:45

@Hevviie yeah it came up slightly at 2 minutes in x

@allgoodthings84 this is also something i didn’t consider. I brought the clearblue double check pack from superdrug. The superdrug one i tested with the original but was negative (not sensitive enough i think) and then decided to keep the digital one for once i got a positive result. So this might be why

@Emmamoo89 @DashingWhiteSergeant glad you can see it thought my eyes were playing up. just makes me more at ease knowing others can see it aswell.

Digital ones aren't always as effective, I had similar to you.
I can 100% see a line on the normal test, congratulations x

cgwx · 01/01/2023 15:16

@Room4onemore I did think this that they obviously can't be as sensitive. I will do another FR and then when it becomes more clearer i will get a CB digital.

@GoT1904 I will bare this in mind then because I've spent a fortune on tests already lol. yeah they are they're the only ones you can get in the UK from First Response. you can't get any others.

@GenderNormans i didn't know this! thankyou for that! i will wait a couple of weeks for sure then before buying one of those.

@strawberry2017 I will bare this in mind when I'm buying a digital. they're so expensive so was planning on waiting until I get a clearer sign to say I am pregnant before using a digital. thankyou! x

Is it a normal CB digital or a 6 days early CB digital? I had "pregnant" on a 6 days early CB before a FRER and also had a false positive on a FRER so personally I didn't like them! Also are you tracking ovulation and do you know how many DPO you are? I'll attach a few photos. I would test again tomorrow with FMU but it I can definitely see a line!!

@positivethoughts1 i believe it was just a normal digital. I brought it as a duo pack from superdrug, had a normal one with a cross indication and then a digital one aswell in one pack. I mean i’m still unsure about it i’m not going to lie as it was the 09th unprotected and again on the 18th. Fertility window was supposedly between 11th and 16th. I’m now 4 days late.

I would order the CB off Amazon, I'll link them here. The digital 6 days early ones flash red on the end once they've been in the urine long enough. They are 10mlU/ml so more sensitive than other CB digi tests. Keeping everything crossed for you ❤️
