I'm having a baby today - AHHHHHH.

Well, I'm being induced today. So I could have her today, or tomorrow. Or 3 days time. I know how long the induction process can take 😅

Been awake since 5:30. Excited. Nervous. Feeling both completely prepared and also unprepared. Hoping being induced will be so much quicker this time and clinging to the small bit of hope I have that maybe my contractions will start fairly naturally (from just the prostaglandin) and I don't have to be attached to the god awful oxy drip 😢

Oh i hope those aches bugger off soon! Unfortunately the tiredness might take a bit longer to recover from!

your 15 month er might not be keen to go away again, just in case they come home to yet another imposter!! Sharing Daddy, that's going to be tough!!

They are lovely ages. Id love to be your age & starting all over again! It goes far too fast - looking back! It sometimes hard to enjoy it at the time, but please try to! They're all grown in a jiffy!

@SkylightSkylight theyve told me the aches get worse with the more babies you have so that'll be why I feel so rough with this one, plus no epidural this time so nothing to numb me😅

15 month old doesn't know what to make of the new baby, she didn't take much notice at first cause I think she thought baby was a doll because she was asleep with her eyes closed. Then she woke up and had a little cry and was looking around - 15 month old toddled over looking concerned, went "ooh baba" and then toddled off to play😂😂

5 year old is besotted with her, gone into full on mother-hen mode and wasn't impressed with the midwife who made baby cry when she came to do a check of her😂

@PopsicleHustler any news?! Hope things have sped up for you!! I've only just realised I went from 3cm to pushing out a baby in the space of 1 hour and 5 mins according to my birth notes😂

I had my little boy it was an emergency c-section. No matter how strong and close apart my contractions were I couldn't get past 3cm dilated. I had him at 10.30 this morning after been given three sweeps which ramped things up but had no choice as baby was getting stressed and fast heartbeat !
He's 8lb4 and so cute. He's currently in a hot cot! And I am eating that wonderful 5 star hospital food! Lol

Thought I'd update this thread as I just remembered it existed - still can't believe I blogged through my labour 🤣 that little baby is 2 tomorrow! This was her last week at her older sister's spa party 😂❤️

Also aware of how I said on this thread she was going to be our last - I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant with our son 😂 I promise he is definetely our last!!
