Well, I'm being induced today. So I could have her today, or tomorrow. Or 3 days time. I know how long the induction process can take 😅

Been awake since 5:30. Excited. Nervous. Feeling both completely prepared and also unprepared. Hoping being induced will be so much quicker this time and clinging to the small bit of hope I have that maybe my contractions will start fairly naturally (from just the prostaglandin) and I don't have to be attached to the god awful oxy drip 😢

We called back at 2pm - they'd got busier.
Called back at 6pm - still busy.

Apparently they had 6 of us booked in to be induced today but because there's been emergency inductions needed plus people waiting from yesterday that number jumped up to 13, plus spontaneous labours 🤦‍♀️

I'm really hoping I get induced tomorrow, don't fancy dragging this out any longer. I've got horrible lightning crotch pains and her movements are extremely uncomfortable. So so fed up x

Good luck @EllieRosesMammy. I am 39w today and also in for induction. Had my waters broken and just hoping now for contractions to start!

Ha, what a coincidence that would be! I’m at AGH on the W/N Yorks border. It all seems quite quiet here so far.

Haha yeah that would of been weird! JCUH in Teesside for me😁 they've been exceptionally busy here over the last few days so they're not going to break my waters until they know they've definetely got enough midwives. They've done the 6 hour gel for me, 3 hours in now and feeling some twinges and back pain but nothing major 😩

Due to be examined again any minute, been getting a fair bit more pain and pressure but still nothing remotely near the pain I experienced when hooked up to the oxy drip. I'm hoping I've progressed well without it! 😁👌
