This is how my two previous chemicals started, except my tests are very very positive this time and haven’t faded. Just gone to the loo and pink blood on wiping. I’m beside myself. Scan not til weds :(

@bubble55 did you have more then one occasion of spotting? Mines never been red, two tiny bits of pink but have had very very light brown on and off for a week

bubble55 · 09/11/2022 08:25

Sending lots of love today @ScaredMum12

@Moosh18 i had one occasion of actual spotting on Sunday night when I wiped pink blood, probably the size of a 50p. Then on occasions when I wiped I was getting very watery watery blood/light pink discharge and eventually turned to brown yesterday after my scan so assuming it’s old blood lurking somewhere. Is yours in your wee everytime yoy wipe? Mine was more when I felt internally x

It's only ever on the tissue when I wipe like properly wipe if that makes sense, but definitely not everytime maybe once a day or twice at most x

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 08:30

@ScaredMum12 lots of love today x

bubble55 · 09/11/2022 08:40

@Moosh18 yes please try not to worry, mine was when I properly wiped and the nurse yesterday told me to simply stop it as if I didn’t do that, I wouldn’t have known about it 😬 which is true. I also got a stern telling off for doing so many pregnancy tests 🤣

as long as you don’t have heavy red blood it’s a positive sign. When is your scan? X

Friday late morning, I feel like I need to just stop checking, I think if I get good news on Friday I will, I've just convinced myself totally I've had another mmc x

Cockerdileteeth · 09/11/2022 09:02

OP, I came to say fingers crossed for you for good scan news but I see you've had the scan and it was indeed good news. If another positive story still helps, I spotted and bled off and on from 6 weeks until into the second trimester, pink, red, brown (it was an IVF pregnancy after a very early loss from the previous IVF pregnancy so I was on progesterone already). I just got back from doing the school run with that baby, who's now a big boy at primary school. He arrived safe and well at term. Thinking of you and will keep my fingers crossed.

greenerfingers · 09/11/2022 09:08

OP pls stop searching for the blood, I know it's hard not to. But you could give yourself an infection and that's the last thing you want. Try and focus on other things for the next few weeks. Wishing you the best and a very healthy pregnancy and baby.

heartbroken22 · 09/11/2022 10:07

@bubble55 I know you're due same time as me. I've had losses too and it's normal to panic. I really hope you and any of the other ladies going through similar are okay. Please rest (I'm doing the same before my little one wakes up).

ScaredMum12 · 09/11/2022 12:35

We also have a heartbeat!!!! Waiting to speak to the nurse to see if they know what the bleeding is about! So happy! Thanks for the well wishes everyone and hope everyone else feeling okay too! Xx

bubble55 · 09/11/2022 13:15

What amazing news!! Did they say how far you are? So pleased xx

Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 13:57

@ScaredMum12 so happy for you! What a huge relief xxxxx

ScaredMum12 · 09/11/2022 14:18

Thanks everyone! @bubble55 exactly the same as you- 6 weeks 1 day!!!! They also gave me a prescription for progesterone so need to pick that up later!

can you ladies let me know how best to use the pessary? It says 2 a day but that sounds quite extreme haha!

So relieved and so excited! We can all take some relief in knowing strange bleeding isn’t always a worse case!! X

bubble55 · 09/11/2022 14:22

@ScaredMum12 fantastic! I started the pesseries last night so one at night one in a morning but I’d advise you lay/sit down for a bit after as they come back out 😳

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 09/11/2022 14:28

How come you've been put on progesterone ladies? Even after repeated losses this has never been mentioned to me, if I lose this pregnancy that will be four for me :( x

Snugglemonkey · 09/11/2022 14:34

So pleased for you bubble55. Congratulations! I have done the pessaries loads as I have had a lot of IVF and honestly, it does not seem v pleasant, but I found it easier and cleaner to use them anally. If you are going with vaginal, I advise pant liners and as

Snugglemonkey · 09/11/2022 14:35

As @bubbubble55 said, lying down. Sorry, posted too quick there and meant the congratulations for @scaredmum.

bubble55 · 09/11/2022 14:38

@Moosh18 here is the updated guidance re progesterone. You’re entitled to it after just one loss x

@bubble55 thank you for this, I think if I get good news on Friday I will contact my midwife and ask her x

ScaredMum12 · 09/11/2022 16:48

@Moosh18 i think you need to be quite pushy to get it- I mentioned it to the nurse and she checked my records and said I was able to have it. As long as you’ve had at least one loss and have slight blood you’re entitled to it- deffo mention it on Friday. Keeping everything crossed for you! Xxxx

heartbroken22 · 10/11/2022 09:19

Sorry I didn't read your update but congratulations!

ScaredMum12 · 10/11/2022 15:33

Thank you!! Good luck tomorrow @Moosh18, let us know how you get on! Will be thinking of you xxxx

Moosh18 · 10/11/2022 15:36

@ScaredMum12 thank you I'm dreading it xx
