Thanks so much ladies. I am a worrier because I’ve lost two pregnancies recently, this is my third time being pregnant in 4
months. I guess the bleeding stopping is a good sign, just petrified of going to sleep and waking up covered in blood like last time.

That is such a horrible experience and I am sure you are worried. Who wouldn't be? Try to do lovely things to take care of yourself. Wishing you all the best for your scan x

@bubble55 Thinking of you tomorrow- good luck for your scan, I hope everything goes well. Please let us know, sending lots of love xxx

Morning ladies how we feeling? @ScaredMum12 @Moosh18 any more bleeding?

I’ve had nothing since a pink streak around 7pm last night. Nothing at all this morning. Really expected myself to wake up bleeding as I had period type pains, but not cramps as such. My test is a strong positive so I’m trying to look for good signs as my previous losses resulted in v faint lines as soon as I had any blood. Just feeling so low and nervous. X

@bubble55 that's great news, I'm glad it's all eased down for you! I've had nothing since the pink a couple of days ago, I'm feeling so so sick, not sure how I'm going to get through work 😩

bubble55 · 08/11/2022 06:56

@Moosh18 fab news - especially that you still have symptoms even if they’re not the best 😬

i don’t feel like my boobs hurt today but know symptoms can come and go, I just get paranoid. I’m honestly the worst for panicking but hopefully all this panic is followed by a further lifetime of worrying for our little beans x

I spotted at first few weeks and went on to have twins. I wish someone had told me it was quite normal, was such a worry.

Pepperama · 08/11/2022 07:29

Sadly it’s just a waiting game - but I had plenty of spotting and even bleeding and the pregnancy survived. I was a nervous wreck though so I know what you’re going through (hugs!)

ScaredMum12 · 08/11/2022 08:01

@bubble55 so glad you haven’t had anything since 7pm last night- that’s great!!! Sorry for TMI but I just had a bowel movement and was scared I’d end up with loads of bright red blood after, but just had the usual bit of dark brown. Fingers crossed mine doesn’t seem to have gotten any worse but also doesn’t seem to be getting any better - hoping it stops today. Good luck for scan! X

bubble55 · 08/11/2022 08:03

Thanks ladies, it reassures me to know people have gone on to have successful pregnancies. I never had this with my toddler and having had two losses it’s petrified me. I’ll soon find out and keeping everything crossed x

Just been to the loo and had really stretchy red egg white kind of discharge. Not blood spotting as such but really stretchy and red :(

Hrf1503 · 08/11/2022 15:16

I’m so pleased for you!! I balled my eyes out at every scan so know the feeling. Did you get the progesterone prescription?

bubble55 · 08/11/2022 15:45

No reason for the bleeding at all so very confusing. Baby was very healthy and measuring 6w like I predicted. I also got a prescription for progesterone.

i have my fingers crossed for you ladies waiting for scans and hope my experience reassured you.

also a big fat 🖕🏼 To the clearblue weeks test which gave me anxiety too!

Yay brilliant news 🥰 I was put on progesterone too and I'll be on it until 16 weeks, the bleeding stopped when they put me on it xx

bubble55 · 08/11/2022 18:12

I’ve had such a battle to get this progesterone, feels like a little safety back up! So pleased it stopped for you x

I’ve just gone to the loo since getting home and my pad had brown blood on. Is this the ultrasound wand irritating old blood?

OP posts:
ScaredMum12 · 08/11/2022 19:50

@bubble55 ive read that the wand can dislodge old blood and cause spotting! Try not to worry as you saw the heartbeat today baby is strong ❤️

Hoping I get the same good news as you tomorrow, scan at 12.20 x

Hrf1503 · 08/11/2022 20:32

It shouldn’t be so hard to get it but I’m glad you’ve finally managed to. Also a little recommendation on the progesterone - I had another bleed about 3 days after I started it. I was later diagnosed with a hematoma so could have been that but I read that bleeding can be a common side effect of progesterone as it irritates the cervix. Just a warning as it was so triggering. I used them vaginally at night and up the back in the morning to give my cervix a rest.

Snugglemonkey · 08/11/2022 23:22

I am so happy you saw that we heart beating!!! Congratulations. I know it is so difficult not to be checking your pants constantly. I have been caught in that and it is so wearing. However, if you can try and think of distracting yourself, even for a short time, you can start stretching that out a wee bit. Like telling yourself you will do x then check. Or that you will only check after X amount of time or whatever. Just to try and keep yourself a bit sane.

I actually checked so much and wiped so much checking I irritated my vulva with tissue, then thought I had thrush and the Dr told me I had to reign myself in 🫣

I had a horrible habit of having a heavyish bleed every weekend and our local epu was closed on Sundays then, so I had to wait until Monday to be checked. It just stopped though. I hope you don't have the same as it was stressful, but just keep reminding yourself that lots of people bleed, but are having perfectly healthy pregnancies!

So happy for you! I hope you can relax yourself a bit!
