@MrsN3 we're still at the hospital, trying to get labour started, apparently she's not in a rush to join the madness! 😂

Fingers crossed.

JC84 · 26/11/2022 21:24

Was wondering how you were getting on @Mommabear20
Hopefully not too much longer for you 🤞🏻
@Jaaxe I got most of my white and yellow from mothercare last time. Supermarkets usually have a reasonable range too and are tumbledryable 🙌🏻

@Mommabear20 congratulations!!! How far out were they with the growth scan? sounds like after a slow start things progressed nicely?

@MadamMaltesers congratulations too! Did you have a little boy or girl? Hope your recovering ok

thanks for everyone’s unisex shop recommendations I’m struggling to find newborn/ 0-1 month but seems to be bigger unisex sizes everywhere! Not been in this position before as we’ve always found out sex beforehand, oh well we will find out soon anyway x

MrsN3 · 27/11/2022 08:29

Congratulations @Mommabear20 and @MadamMaltesers what lovely news!! Hope you’re all doing well and enjoy all the newborn cuddles ❤️🥰

buzz91 · 27/11/2022 12:26

This is my second and what I’m worried about is, with the first I was in such a newborn bubble, I did nothing and completely just did things by her schedule - not sure how the navigate this with school runs, having to look after a third person!

Realise I haven’t actually “announced” on here, just referred vaguely! Baby Rupert (Roo) born last Sunday at 36 weeks 😊

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 27/11/2022 13:06

Okkk so I think my waters have broken 😱I've basically felt like I've been wetting myself since late morning and gone thru several liners and now swapping to a pad
Do I ring and tell the hospital or wait for contractions to start bearing in mind I'm a good hour from the hospital I'm supposed to be at for delivery or half hour from the closest one and this is my second baby albeit 8 years later so I've been told could be much quicker. I have no experience as I was induced last time.
Liquid is clear and I'm 37+2

JC84 · 27/11/2022 17:13

Congratulations @buzz91 @MadamMaltesers
And @Mommabear20 - there's hope my boy might not be too big then as predicted at 2.9kg 2.5 weeks ago ! 🤞🏻

Charl1247 · 27/11/2022 17:17

Congratulations to all that have had their little ones! It's so exciting to be seeing some babies born on this thread.

I'm due next weekend and have absolutely no signs. I've got a feeling I'm going to be late as this is my first baby

Ahh that's exciting. Maybe phone the hospital and see what they say? X

lifechanginglemoncake · 27/11/2022 17:28

Congratulations everyone on your arrivals. So exciting! Good luck to those already having signs baby is on the way.
I'm being induced on Thursday and have a sweep on Tuesday so we shall see when baby appears!

Nursemumma92 · 27/11/2022 17:56

@JC84 you should ring maternity triage definitely and they will advise. But they should definitely be aware of it. Very exciting, good luck! I'm 36 weeks now and can't wait to go into labour so uncomfortable!!

Laughingmole · 27/11/2022 18:43

Congrats everyone! Great to see that so many babies are now making their appearances into the world!

JC84 · 27/11/2022 21:15

Just leaving hosp, waters confirmed gone, now going home to see if he wants to make his own way and if not will be back at 11.30 tomorrow and going on the hormone drip!
