Wow, I've just spent a week reading the whole thread! I wish I had found it sooner - maybe I wouldn't have worried so much about bleeding in week 9 or low PAPP-A..
Hi everyone! I'm 36, due on 31 May, it's an IFV pregnancy (second take), I have an anterior placenta and I haven't felt any movements yet (I think). I was asked to take 150 of aspirin every day for the low PAPP-A. I got my flu and whopping caugh vaccines in 16w at the hospital. My 20w scan is on Monday, I can't wait and am really nervous. My mum's first child couldn't walk and I know how difficult that has been. All I want is a healthy baby. Learnt the gender with the Sneakpeek test and my DH and I are already calling the baby by his name 😀
I've bought or got given about 8 books but I've barely touched them as I find it much easier to follow an app. I love Pregnancy+ if anyone wants an app. Also, there is this hilarious podcast I've been listening to called 'Two New Mums'. I've signed up for NCT classes as apparently they are great for making friends around here. And we're seeing a childminder and a couple of nurseries at the end of Jan.
My mother in law is currently occupying my baby room while looking for a new house. It bothers me cos it's stopping me from nesting. I think I will start buying things anyway and putting them in visible areas to send a message and speed up the house search [evil laugh]. Plus she is keep touching my belly! I like her but it bothers me a bit. Probably a little too late to touch hers in response but I love that tip to use with strangers 😀
@Melusina123 good advice. Everyone in my pregnancy yoga class seems to stay a little longer after the class, have a chat, but I find it incredibly difficult to approach them, panic and leave. I think I will stick with it though as it's good for me and we even do pelvic exercises. Maybe one day have the courage to open my mouth.
