BabyNumber3OnTheWay · 10/10/2022 18:12

Congratulations @Eastybaby19

havanamama · 10/10/2022 18:17

@Eastybaby19 in the 3rd photo it looks like a buttrrfly above the baby’s chest! 🦋 Very clear pictures! Happy for you that it was all good! ☺️

Eastybaby19 · 10/10/2022 18:58

Thank you everyone 🥲 so relieved & happy!
Can't wait to hear how all your scans go, those of you who are ftm the 20 week one is amazing!

I'm UK too - Northern Ireland

allthingssparkly · 10/10/2022 19:20

Beautiful photos @Eastybaby19 😍

Hope everyone is keeping well and good look to those who have their 20 week scan this week 🤍

I'm 19 weeks today, can't believe I'm nearly half way there! 😳 x

TeddyBeans · 10/10/2022 19:22

My partner's just felt DD kick for the first time 🥰🥰🥰 20+1

@Choc2022 woke up hyperventilating in a massive panic attack the other night because I dreamt my sister died. DH had to stand in the way of the door to stop me going to her house to check on her!

Choc2022 · 11/10/2022 02:34

Wow. Hope you're ok, that does sound intense. I've had quite disturbing 'long' dreams, hoping it passes soon.

allthingssparkly · 11/10/2022 12:03

So I still haven't had my results from the DS test I had on the 13th Sept, I suppose often no news is good news but still.

I don't know whether to call the midwife team or just wait till my 20 week scan on Monday and ask about it then 🤔

BabyNumber3OnTheWay · 11/10/2022 12:34

So I have my 20 week scan on Thursday, was booked straight after my first scan so I haven’t had a letter for this one. Do I need a full bladder for it? It’s been 10 years since my last pregnancy so I can’t remember 😂

I haven't had mine either (from the 20th September) I have had lots of other appointment letters come through though. I have my 16 week appointment next week to go through the letter I should have had with my results on so I'm assuming my results weren't high risk....

Cats23 · 11/10/2022 13:35

Had my 16week appt yesterday at home!
Heard heartbeat all of 2secs before baby decided to move about everywhere! Pacenta sounded good though!
20week scan on Nov 10th
...I cant wait!!!!!!! Esp as yesterday I met my brand new nephew...., even though for me this is #5, the excitemment and wonder of meeting my nephew just made me long for March to come quicker!!

My results letter came directly from the lab so I don't know if your midwife or local hospital will be able to do much. It might be worth trying to find out where your bloods were sent to and see if you can contact them directly

No don't think so because everything's moved out of your pelvis now. Don't remember having a full bladder with DS but that was 5 years ago now 😅

Im in Wales- As far West as you can go!

LaForza101 · 11/10/2022 14:18

19+4 today and I'm more sure the little flips and pops I'm feeling are the baby and not gas! I don't have my next scan until 21 weeks so it feels like such a long wait but I know it isn't that long in reality. The main thing is keeping the scanxiety at bay for as long as possible.

I'm in NW England btw

Splashh · 11/10/2022 15:18

I had scan at 16 weeks, went with a full bladder but then I was asked to empty my bladder so they could get a better view 😂

I don’t think you need it to be completely full, but then again you may as well instead of having to wait about if you have to drink more water…

London.

havanamama · 11/10/2022 15:37

The NHS letter said to drink 800ml of water before the ultrasound (both 12&20 week)

2019Mama · 11/10/2022 16:39

Peacemaking x

2019Mama · 11/10/2022 16:41

Placemarking 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂

20 week scan on the 28th still deciding whether or not to find out

Baby2iscooking · 11/10/2022 17:27

Amazing. Congratulations 💙

Baby2iscooking · 11/10/2022 17:29

My 20 week scan is on the same day!

alotoftutus · 11/10/2022 17:39

DH is away and I need to share a win with somebody ......... I've just managed to eat some vegetables 🤣 3 entire florets of broccoli and some roasted peppers!!! So far it's stayed down! Pretty sure baby hasn't had any veg in 3 months. I'm currently sitting very still and hoping I can survive this! Need to take my son to Cubs in 20 minutes- I bet the sick is just waiting until I drop him off at the door - it likes to be public 🤦🏽‍♀️

iratepirate · 11/10/2022 17:45

Fingers crossed for you @alotoftutus

alotoftutus · 11/10/2022 17:46

@iratepirate 😂😂 thanks. Sometimes you just have to celebrate the small wins in life!
