@pommy excellent news!
@Skylark1990 I'm not on the FB thread, I don't like to use my FB much so thought I'd just stay up to date on here.

alwaysseeingstars · 11/10/2022 16:26

So ladies; the last week ive been taking omega3 with my seven seas tablets and for the past three days ive had the WORST headache, done a google and apparently side effects of omega3 can be migraines! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Has anybody else suffered headache taking the pregnancy supplements with omega3?

Hannah223344 · 11/10/2022 17:26

@Pommy1 💕💕💕

Chocolat · 11/10/2022 17:34

@Cuppasoupmonster he definitely needs to be patients, you have a plan at least and not to forget you are making a baby!
oh gosh the ‘stop being hormonal’ is the most annoying sentence in the world it winds me up so much, although i seem to believe my dh is more hormonal than me currently, just like he is also having pregnancy cravings 🤣

Springblooms08 · 11/10/2022 17:44

Congratulations @Pommy1 thrilled for you!

@Skylark1990 I’m not on the FB group - I don’t really use FB and I’d probably find it confusing having two groups to check!

Hi ladies! Been a long weekend.. Trying to catch up with all the new posts. Congrats to the newcomers and I'm loving looking at all these plump ultrasound photos. I don't have a lot to add except @Cuppasoupmonster covid has absolutely been a bastard... People are literally living on top of each other with no respite from one another.. 😩 it can be very trying and exhausting. I can certainly feel your pain, although I'm the one who is more short tempered these days because, with my husband working long hours and traveling for business sometimes, I am so accustomed to having my routine and doing things a certain way that it's been a challenge learning to compromise in places where he normally would not have any input either way.
We're getting there though.
I do not intend to turn this into a debate but I also wanted to point out that comprehensive prenatal care is paramount to pregnant people and the NIPT test is available here to all, irrespective of your insurance plan. Pregnant people on state insurance and ones on private get the same tests offered and I do think it's important. Pregnant people and their families need to have early testing available so they may plan accordingly and it is just disheartening that the cost is so prohibitive - knowing if you're carrying a pregnancy with risks/complications should be available to everyone and, like someone else said up thread, I hope availability for testing becomes more mainstream for pregnant people/families. It is invaluable information as far as I'm concerned.

PuddingBear · 11/10/2022 18:03

Had scan today! Measuring a little behind, I thought I was 12+4 but I’m actually 11+5 so EDD 27th April.

Not posting scan photo as I don’t want nub guesses but very relieved to see baby moving 😊

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:04

Ladies i came back to ask a question and didn't even ask it 🤦

So as you all know, my husband and I were told the biological sex by mistake, when we did not want to know. Well, we're over that now and it turns out there was nothing to be upset about because the Dr.'s office was the only place where we specified we did not want to be told the sex, we would have found out anyway when my lab tests were uploaded to my online medical record the very next day... Well, I was going over the lab report out of curisoity, and now I have a question. If I upload this lab report can someone who has had a NIPT test or has any experience with/understanding of explain this result and the wording to me?

I know I'm a bit thick but when it says 'consistent with female' does that mean the biological sex is definitive for female or is there room for error/the result to change?
I've tried googling this but there are only websites promoting testing and people asking about costs so I cannot get any clear understanding. I had the test done at my Dr.'s office, not through a private payment/commission so I have no contact with the company/lab that processed the sample. If it's necessary info the type of NIPT was the MaterniT21 plus...

Can y'all help a sister out?

@Releasethehoundss the sex is 99 percent accurate. I don't understand why it is on your report is you requested for it not to be though. It is optional

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:07

@PuddingBear that's my die date! Awesome. I'll be delivering 3 weeks early but it's still cool!

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:08

@PuddingBear that's not the date I'm going to die 🤦 these fat fingers...

Cuppasoupmonster · 11/10/2022 18:11

@Releasethehoundss as I understand it NIPT is as definitive as you can get for fetal sex - the only reason they’re putting a caveat is probably because at 99% certain, there’s always that 1% chance it’s wrong. But it’s much more accurate than a scan!

Cuppasoupmonster · 11/10/2022 18:14

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:07

Me too! Have you had a 37 weeker before? DD was 37+0 - so I know a longer hospital stay for jaundice is likely. DD had extended jaundice, we were readmitted for UV the day after we got home from the first stay 🙄 she also had to have the blood test thing. Hoping this time will be slightly quicker.

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:14

Oh @Longbin when i signed the paperwork for the NIPT, it said that the test will be ran and all info processed, the form I filled out i was asked if i wanted the Dr.'s office to tell me the sex results... I chexked 'no'. The nurse accidentally told me over the phone when she was only supposed to be telling me about the trsiomies.... because she wasn't paying attention to the paperwork in front of her 🤦 and then when i got a message from oir insurance saying i had new records in my online account, i went to have a look and it turned out to be the lab report itself... With all the information on it... I'm guessing we would have found out that way... Kinda dumb not to tell people 'hay, don't look at the lab report' if they've opted not to find out the biological sex 🤦. But it's TriCare, so...😂

Haha!! DH stopped the ultra marathons etc when Dd was born and I often ask him if he’s expecting as well 😉 he hates it as he’s very vain about his appearance!

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:16

@Cuppasoupmonster I had a 35 weeker. Our youngest had to come out early because my annoying wonky liver was acting up, and also because I was a risk for rupture. He's a strapping young boy now, and is thriving.

PuddingBear · 11/10/2022 18:16

@Releasethehoundss Oh nice! I am going for an ELCS this time around so will probably be earlier than that too 😊

Releasethehoundss · 11/10/2022 18:18

@PuddingBear I've had 4 csections this will be my 5th!
