@Perexi ahhh how horrible, I have woken up with what i think is thrush i get it every pregnancy luckily only then. But feel so uncomfy will have to call doctor to see if i can have anything.

I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable down there today, feel a bit swollen and a bit sore so off in the bath later and if it’s still the same in the morning I may ring the docs

Hello ladies, been enjoying seeing all your lovely scans on here. Finally had my dating scan yesterday, baby was giving us the royal wave the whole time 😄👋🏻 so happy and relived

@MattyM5 i am going to go with boy! :) the head shape looks similar to mine and everyone keeps saying that’s the reason the think boy 😂 x

@Room4onemore it may be thrush like me as mine is swollen also i had a bath with no bubbles and then put an ice pack on it😂

I had chronic thrush last time in my third trimester 😩so I'm hoping it doesn't happen again.
It took a long time to get a proper diagnosis of chronic thrush (it came straight back after treatment) and I ended up with a prescription for a load of pessaries that I used every few days until birth and then it just went away. They don't prescribe the tablets in pregnancy, only the pessaries.

I had thrush for a couple of weeks and went away as soon as I reduced sugar (including fructose) and started wearing cotton leggings and tracksuit bottoms rather than synthetic gym leggings.

I have my second try at the 12 week scan tomorrow here's hoping it wants to play ball this time 😂

@hol92 aww would absolutely love a little boy! Grew up with brothers, so slightly team 💙 but it‘s my first so no strong preference.

@Perexi That‘s two votes for boy then, interesting! I literally can‘t guess from the scan, no matter how hard I try 😂 Good luck with your scan today, fingers crossed baby is co-operating!🤞🏻

Going for my gender scan today also, I don't mind what sex the baby is at all but my older dc would prefer one over the other.

Had my first consultant appt today!!

Asprin started (Pre-eclamsia,csect & very prem baby with 1st Dc, the last 3x have been fine and vbacs)
This time from 28weeks till 6 weeks after birth , I have to have daily injections to thin blood, also because its my 5th pregnancy and Im older(37), I will have 3x growth scans after 20weeks too, every 2 weeks bp check and urine check!
My 12 week bloods came back and all well!
A lot to take in today!

Hello all I’m 13 weeks and have been a regular moaner on here due to hg
im still either throwing up or wanting to throw up everything consumed and I have literally no energy
i drive to do the school run and going from the car to the gates is exhausting
is this going to get better

@Jholli I don't have HG but I'm still throwing up randomly at 17 weeks. Yours sounds really draining though, I hope it gets better for you!

@Cats23 I am high risk too so will have 20 week, 31 week and 37 week scans.

I feel bad for those that only have 12 and 20 week scans! So many months without seeing the baby unless you go private !

@Cats23 I had mild pre clampsia, Severe hypertension & Cholastesis with my 1st baby 3 years ago so pretty high risk this time. I'll be having my 20 week scan, then 25 week scan and then from 28 weeks I'll be having growth scans every 2 weeks until delivery. I had my 16 weeks appt yesterday and they did more bloods to check bile acids for the Cholastesis that will be repeated at my 20 week and every 2 weeks I've to see midwives for BP checks! It's a lot of appointments! 🫠

Managed to get the screening measurements done today 😃 after some jumping around and having the bed tilted 🤣 any gender guesses? My mum is sure its a girl.

I don't think I saw any nub on my scan photos... from skull I think maybe girl? My daughter actually wants a brother but I'm sure will be fine either way 😅
I'm trying to ignore the chicken legs in all the scan pics 😂
