Hiya. Quick question, I'm 14 weeks today and the past week I've noticed sometimes after I've eaten a meal straight after I'll get belly ache? Any ideas if it's normal or what it is? Lasts a few hours 😩

TeddyBeans · 11/09/2022 08:04

@babymamaxox IIRC your digestive system slows down in pregnancy so it may just be that your body isn't ready to digest everything you've eaten at that point. If it goes away after a little while I wouldn't think it was anything to worry about

Thank you! I don't remember having this with my other 2 lol, I'm thinking maybe I'll try eating smaller meals, never happens with breakfast or lunch, it's usually dinner😂 thank you for replying I worry about everything haha x

TeddyBeans · 11/09/2022 08:14

I can't eat a huge amount at all at the moment (16 weeks today). We had Chinese yesterday and I had to have mine in two portions because I just couldn't stomach it all in one go. I feel really bloated today so skipping breakfast 😂

Is amybody feeling movement yet? Im 15 weeks today and been in bed and can feel something but not kicks you cant feel from outside but its like a shadow is moving inside me. I felt from 16 weeks last time but is 15 weeks not a bit early?😅isit in my mind?

TeddyBeans · 11/09/2022 08:52

@Babynum2 nope not too early. Tiny gave me a massive boot yesterday (15+6) and I've been feeling them for sure for at least 3 weeks

LittleAcorn20 · 11/09/2022 09:40

@Babynum2 in can, no doubt about it. More in the evenings when I'm in bed.
I've been thinking I can for a few weeks now but this week there's definitely no denying it.
I always feel them in and around the same place, so I have my 16 week appt on Friday and going to see where she manages to pick up heartbeat. If it is where I've been feeling the most movement I'll be sold on the idea!

@Blondewave (and anybody else who's interested) our scan today was lovely and we found out we're having a girl!
The nubtechs were right.
As was sneak peek 🙈

So lovely to see our little one again though, so worth triple checking!
Had a 4D sneak peek included...not sure how I feel about those!

Oh amazing congratulations 💗! I’ll update what mine is in a few weeks after official scan 😂 wish I wasn’t so impatient 😂 I’ve wasted so much money to still not know if it’s a boy or a girl hahah xx

Babynumberthreeee · 11/09/2022 19:32

@alotoftutus just catching up with this thread. With my second we had a high result in 1/16 for downs syndrome. We got a private nipt test done so we knew either way and our test results came back clear
We also had perfect measurements in our 12 weeks scan, but my placenta was not great throughout the pregnancy and is one of the many reasons I was induced. My age was also a factor

Sending you lots of virtual love and hugs. The wait between the test and the results is awful so be kind to yourself xxxx

allthingssparkly · 11/09/2022 20:02

I'm intrigued, who's actually showing with a visible bump yet? & if you are, how many weeks are you 😊 x

ToffeeEl · 11/09/2022 20:06

@allthingssparkly I've actually been meaning to ask the same thing. 14wks tomorrow and just look bloated or put on a bit of weight.

Can't wait to have something more visible

Franklin321 · 11/09/2022 20:30

I’m 14 weeks tomorrow and have a visible bump! I popped early with my son as well so wasn’t surprised when this one popped out 😅

havanamama · 11/09/2022 21:40

No just looking bloated

Splashh · 11/09/2022 23:23

No tummy in the mornings at all, but after dinner, a gell of a bloat belly 😂

Splashh · 11/09/2022 23:25

*hell
I'm 14+5 btw.

babymamaxox · 12/09/2022 06:28

I have a bump I'm 14+1 but this is my 3rd. Didn't show much with either of my other 2 till nearly 20 weeks😂

Cdoc · 12/09/2022 07:21

I actually keep googling when I’m going to look pregnant and not just like I’ve eaten too much 🤣 15+2 and still just look like I’ve enjoyed all the food. It is my first but I’m hoping it won’t be like this much longer!

havanamama · 12/09/2022 07:57

I am hoping for a small belly as I want to be as mobile as possible

Pickles23 · 12/09/2022 08:12

I'm the same, 14+6 (first pregnancy) and I think my tummy just looks a little bigger (definitely more bloated in the evenings though), but no obvious 'bump'.

I can still get into my jeans, but I usually undo the button at home/in the evenings!

Blondewave · 12/09/2022 08:23

allthingssparkly · 11/09/2022 20:02

So I thought I had a slight bump (my stomach is normally completely flat) so I think it’s more noticeable. My mother in law also saw it and kissed it...anyway it’s not disappeared I’m 14 weeks so turns out it was just sushi belly bloat from too much sushi 😂

I didn’t show with my first till 22 weeks as I’ve got an inverted uterus so they don’t pop out as quick..x

Dreamingof3 · 12/09/2022 09:01

I have nothing visible yet, but I'm only 12+3ish and fat anyway 🤣 I can't definitely feel it underneath though, and harder to suck in!

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 12/09/2022 09:28

Anyone else having their 12 week scan this week? Ours is tomorrow and even though we've had private early scans that said everything was fine, I'm suddenly absolutely terrified!

TeddyBeans · 12/09/2022 09:58

16+1 and my bump has well and truly popped 😂

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStark scanxiety is a thing. You'll be fine ❤️

Perexi · 12/09/2022 10:18
