Thank you! Was 2 weeks over due with my first so hopefully it will be ok 🤞🤞🤞

starkid · 01/07/2022 13:56

Thanks for the tag! :)

Got diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes yesterday, so started on the finger prick tests 4 times a day as of today. Not too bad to be fair, hopefully can control the levels without too much drama!

CoalCraft · 01/07/2022 14:04

Ah what a pain! At least not long left now though! And at least you didn't have to drink the vile drink for no reason! 🤢

Shiny new thread. This is getting exciting.

Next week I find out whether the placenta issue has resolved, and so whether I need a c section. Plus if I get a clear cut answer for that I can actually start deciding on a birth plan.

It's feeling very close now. Got to crack on with the nursery.

beckybloomwood11 · 01/07/2022 15:03

@Beth262 thanks for the new thread!

So exciting it's July already! I'm not due till the 29th so suspect I'll have a September baby, but excited to be getting closer to that date!

Unknown6 · 01/07/2022 16:06

I think I'm getting BH, my back keeps getting painful and yesterday my whole bump went very hard!
Is this what others are experiencing.

On hayfever note, I have severe dust allergies and have been taking antihistamines throughout pregnancy which my doctor and MW said are fine....not all are OK though, so make sure you check with doctor.

Passthetena · 01/07/2022 16:18

I'm late to the party but can I join? Due 29th so could be August or September! Had a growth scan today though and baby is transverse so if it stays that way it might even be sooner!

Cakecakecheese · 01/07/2022 17:04

@Passthetena I'm 34 weeks on Sunday and my baby has only just shifted from transverse to head down so you still have plenty of time for him or her to move. Posture can help, try not to slouch too much and a birthing ball can help too.

theotherfossilsister · 01/07/2022 18:07

Thank you @Beth262

I'm thirty two + one and have almost certainly moved to a July due date for iugr (looking at thirty six weeks if I can get that far but might be as early as thirty four.) It's been a really scary time.

Glad to hear other folk are doing ok and keeping babies in there

Passthetena · 01/07/2022 18:38

@Cakecakecheese that's good to hear! I'd planned on using the gym ball and doing spinning babies as much as possible in the hope it helps too! And as a bonus the ball should help the spd!

Unsure1010 · 01/07/2022 20:01

New thread!!! Woohoo! Cant believe it’s July already.

had my first growth scan at 32 weeks and baby is measuring right on the top line (do they call it the 90th centile?) and estimated to already weigh 4lbs15oz. Sonographer says they’ll see what it’s like at the next one in 4 weeks and then consider if early induction is required or not. Consultant call on Tuesday as well, so guess I’ll see what they say!!! Mentally ready to be done now, although nowhere near ready from a work perspective!!!

sorry to hear all the hay fever sufferers - mines kicked up a notch or two this past week. It’s exhausting, especially coupled with the worsening sleep situation. I am very grateful we’re having a cooler summer, that’s for sure!!

sending hugs to all those really suffering with the aches and pains, as well as the anxiety of potential early arrivals. We’re almost there ladies, keep going!

Delight12 · 01/07/2022 21:37

So close now everyone, can't wait until I start seeing all the posts and hopefully pictures of all the babies being born. Not sure if it's okay or not to add a picture of my baby, don't want to upset anyone with it x

Celyn22 · 01/07/2022 21:58

@Delight12 I would love to see a photo of your baby if you are happy to share, and everyone else is okay with that. Your baby is one to be celebrated! Does she have a name?

Delight12 · 01/07/2022 22:07

@Celyn22 she is called Maddison, I have attached 2 photos one when she was born and the other more recent x

@Delight12 she's gorgeous! And isn't she getting so big 😍

ToCaden · 01/07/2022 22:20

@Delight12 so cute. Her little sleepy face and her little hands.

I find premies so facinating because you're basically seeing the development of a baby that would usually take place inside the womb outside of it.
