Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

@Kt12344 and @EasterBunny7 I hope all is ok with you both sending pos thoughts.

I'm up the hospital now I called 111 yesterday and explained about my sickness and how weak I am and that the medication was doing nothing and had to come in. Been on a drip due to dehydration and hopefully discharged today I feel a lot better but still feeling so sick all the time wish it would just go away!

EasterBunny7 · 15/07/2022 14:21

@Babynum2 oh no sorry to hear you are so poorly with your pregnancy symptoms. How far along are you now? The heatwave must not be helping with the dehydration either. I'm sure you are trying all the tricks women mention about sickness like: changing your toothpaste to baby toothpaste, having crackers/biscuits/bland food always on hand, making efforts to eat small amounts frequently so that your stomach doesn't get empty, even though you probably don't want to!....

hellosunshineagainx · 15/07/2022 14:31

I'm only 4 1/2 weeks yet the morning sickness has kicked in. With my first it didn't start until 6 weeks! I know my dates for definite as we only had sex once on the 25th of June and first day of last period was the 14th of June.

I'm a twin so panicking a bit 🤣

mariabombia · 15/07/2022 14:39

Hope you're okay @EasterBunny7 & @Kt12344 let us know how you get on ♥️

Sorry to hear that @Babynum2, that must be so difficult to cope with. Glad you went to the hospital !!

Sorry TMI but just been to the toilet and there's a tiny bit of slightly yellowish discharge (🤢 hate that word lol) in my knickers. When I wipe it's just clear. Could that be a bit of blood? Has anyone had similar? I don't know if I should be concerned or if i'm stressing over nothing 😰 wish I could just relax!!!

Hope everyone else is doing well xx

XjustagirlX · 15/07/2022 15:06

Hi can I join? I’m 4 + 4 with an ivf FET first baby. I found out today. I can’t quite believe it.

ive had 3 previous miscarriages around 6 weeks so I’m feeling quite anxious. And this is my 4 ivf transfer. We actually put two embryos in so I’m excited to see if one or two have implanted.

i have my first scan at 6+3. This is earlier than usual as I have had a suspected ectopic previously.

hannahhh · 15/07/2022 15:30

Hi everyone. Can I join please? I'm 6+4 and have a scan tomorrow. Had one at 5+6 and there was a yolk sac and 2mm fetal pole but no heartbeat yet which made me slightly worried but the sonographer said it typically starts between 1.5 & 3mm. I've had 2 previous miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy so quite nervous x

EasterBunny7 · 15/07/2022 16:02

@hannahhh seeing a fetal pole sounds good! The measurement looks good too. Heartbeats aren't always seen before 6 weeks. Stay positive, I'm sure it will go well tomorrow!

ChloeN · 15/07/2022 18:02

@mariabombia I don’t think that sounds anything to worry about! I think if it was blood it would be a brown tinge rather than yellow! Xx

mariabombia · 15/07/2022 18:29

Thanks @ChloeN ! It's like I'm on hyper alert to every little thing 😫
How're you doing? Xx

SJ1994 · 15/07/2022 18:37

Hey all! How’s everyone doing?

approx 7 weeks tomorrow and just over a week until my early scan. Already starting to worry - although I have no signs to make me worried! Nauseous on and off throughout the day, I cannot deal with most food/cooking smells 🙈 boobs still sore! & having to have mini naps most days 😅

Camia · 15/07/2022 18:47

Had my scan today. We saw a little heartbeat and baby is measuring 6+2. I should be 6+6 based on my cycle so only a few days off. They said to stick with my March 4th due date and they'll do another scan in 3 weeks. The place I went to is so wonderful, they gave me a baby blanket and a cute little pack of bath bombs, face masks, and a candle for me, and one of the nurses wrote down the specific ginger chews that helped with her morning sickness for me to try. The morning sickness has kicked up another notch the last few days so I'm hoping those chews help.

TheHC · 15/07/2022 18:53

@motleymop i feel exactly the same! Like I have a cold or something without the runny nose! Sinuses feel full, head aches, glands feel swollen but aren’t and I’m out for the count by 8pm! I used to stay up until midnight! 🙈

motleymop · 15/07/2022 19:04

@TheHC whilst I feel sorry for us, I'm glad someone else is also in this zone!!
My head continues to gently pound....

cat9 · 15/07/2022 19:25

Hi can l join? Due March 10, have a scan booked 26 July. This pregnancy feels different from my first. No nausea yet but chills and mood swings. I guess it's true, every pregnancy is different.

That sounds like a lovely scan. Congratulations.
Do you mind me asking, do you know what the CRL was? I am also 6+6 days.

botbump · 15/07/2022 20:25

Just back from our scan.
Saw the heartbeat and measuring a lovely 12mm which is estimated 7w3d, thought I was 7w5d so not bad at all!

Feel so much relief, and all feels a lot more real!
Pretty sure there's only one in there, which was a big question as we have twins on both sides of the family!

Camia · 15/07/2022 20:35

@RhiRhi1988 I believe they said 0.6cm but they did have some trouble getting it. Baby wanted to play hide and seek with them 😂 it almost gave me a heart attack with how long it took them to find the heartbeat

Kt12344 · 15/07/2022 20:39

@EasterBunny7 I haven't contacted anyone as last time I just got told to wait it out and see what happens but it's very very light and not constant its similar to my implantation bleed I had before my period was due so 🤞🏽 hope you're okay x

allthingssparkly · 15/07/2022 20:48

Have any ladies had their early private scan yet, I know a few people on here mentioned that they had them booked. I don't know whether to book mine around 7 weeks or 8 🤔🤔🤔 I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow 🤍

botbump · 15/07/2022 20:50

Just had mine at 7w5d and would recommend waiting so you can see that little bit more and be a bit safer with the dates etc.
Mine was done abdominally too, so was worth the wait to avoid the invasive alternative!

ChloeN · 15/07/2022 20:56

@mariabombia I’m exactly the same im constantly worrying about everything! I’m hoping the worry eases a bit after I’ve had a scan! Xx

@allthingssparkly I’ve gone for 8 weeks, was worried you wouldn’t see too much at 7! This is my first baby tho so I have no clue really 🤣

allthingssparkly · 15/07/2022 21:40

Thank you @botbump the earliest I can book for is either when I'm 7w2d, 7w4d or 8w as they're only on selected days throughout the week x

@ChloeN I'm temped to wait until 8 weeks but it just seems like ages away 🤣 baby 3 for me but I didn't have an early scan with my other children x

Houseplantlove · 16/07/2022 07:26

Hello all! Hoping to joingl you all! I was waiting for day 2 of cycle to start fertility treatment and then BFP at 5 days late! My cycles are all over the place anyway so don't know why I tested?!

Been trying for nearly 2 years. 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 misc 13 years ago. Fertility clinic have done Beta HCG over 48 hours and it went from 261 to 671 so I am pleased with that. However, I am a ball of anxiety - every trip to the toilet expecting it to be over.

Excited to be here! Currently 5+5 🙂

Franklin321 · 16/07/2022 09:18

Hello all, can I join…4+6 weeks due middle of March!

This is my 5th pregnancy but would be my 2nd baby - 3 miscarriages at varying weeks (1st trimester) and this pregnancy was straight after my 3rd one without a period in between so a bit of a shock!

I’m under the care of my local recurrent miscarriage clinic so will have early scans with them. Keeping everything crossed this one sticks 🤞🤞🤞

LittleAcorn20 · 16/07/2022 09:18

Hello everyone. Been lurking for a while but feeling too anxious/in denial to join. Pregnant with my second after 13 long months of ttc so over the moon but terrified too.
I think I'm 7 weeks, but I actually had a scan yesterday that showed more like 6+3. So will just have to keep on waiting for that 12 week scan to see a more exact dating. Due in the first week of March anyway (the same week as my sis in law's long awaited wedding 🤦‍♀️)
@Kt12344 I had an early scan yesterday at EPU because I had pink discharge all day long on Wednesday. It was quite 'shocking' pink all day, not just a tinge or a streak of blood, that verged on red on lots of occasions. I guess I'd have been about 6 weeks on the dot given what they thought dates wise. Happy to say we saw a heartbeat and from lots of crazy googling the past few days I think light bleeds in early pregnancy can be common.
They couldn't tell me why I'd bled but everything looked ok. If you are anxious I'd see if you can contact your local EPU. I actually got referred from my GP and every single person I spoke to from the gp receptionist to the sonographers to the EPU nurse were so kind and reassuring. Im based in worcestershire and I'm sure it might vary how easy it is to get scanned in different locations but worth a try if you are worried.
