Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

Hi! Just updating with my symptoms, currently 5 weeks 5 days. My boobs are killing me, but Atleast they are nice and full. On top of that I have mild cramping here and there mostly at night (started at 4 weeks)
Throughout the day I am freaking nauseous. I get hungry but then I take a bite of my food and lose my appetite. Trying to remember to drink more water. I am also so sleepy, I could take naps throughout the the day if I could. Can’t wait for my first scan on the 22nd!! Praying for a positive outcome!!
also, frequent urination! That just started like two days ago.

Anon2324 · 13/07/2022 08:36

Nausea has definitely starting to creep in on me

SJ1994 · 13/07/2022 08:53

Nausea can be horrendous, even when not being physically sick! I was awful last week… however this week I feel a lot better so far. Only really nauseous when I’m super hungry or a smell sets me off 🙈 hoping it’s not a bad sign that the nausea has improved! 6+4 today and I’ve got an early scan booked for 23rd July!

Cdoc · 13/07/2022 08:58

Another one here with no symptoms! Except slightly bigger boobs and so so tired.

My dates out me at 5+6 (had no period after mmc but luckily tracked ovulation), but bloods at EPU yesterday showed hcg of 24,000 so more like 6 weeks. Have a viability scan tomorrow given the mmc and that I’ve already experienced bleeding this time.
I’m terrified! Haven’t let myself get excited at all, I’m not sure how anyone can enjoy this early stage without being super anxious. Already googled high hcg might mean something terrible.

Hope you are all doing okay ladies! This stage is definitely not easy, with or without symptoms ♥️

Hi all I'm 5 wks 6 days. Already have a two year old daughter and had a MC at 7 weeks in April. Feeling pretty anxious as a result. My symptoms are intermittent which worries be but sore boobs, nausea and cramps so far. All manageable. The days are going so slowly! It's so reassuring to see lots of ladies also having similar worries ❤️

Flowerpower8912 · 13/07/2022 11:52

Hello
Hope everyone's doing well ❤
I think I'm 5w 2days today and for the last week I've been suffering with cramps in back and belly, they don't last all day but on and off, its tiring me out. Is anyone else like this or been like this? This is my 3rd pregnancy but my last one was 8 years ago and I don't remember feeling like this, I virtually had no symptoms for first 2 pregnancies. Got a early scan booked for 29th July as feeling very anxious, just want everything to be OK xx

vix_85 · 13/07/2022 11:56

Hello, I would love to join your lovely group! I've just tested positive on 10DPO and couldn't be happier. I am anxious as it's our third time lucky after two MC in the last 12 months. I'm 3+3, so all being well, a late March arrival xx

Babynum2 · 13/07/2022 14:39

Hi ladies well the vomiting isn't getting any better and I now can't keep my food down at all so feeling very weak I don't know if I now need to contact doctors as I'm worried I'm just not digesting any food at all I couldn't even get out of bed to do school run this morning I had to get a friend to help me.

Pink15 · 13/07/2022 14:43

@Babynum2 gosh this sounds awful. Definitely get a GP appointment!

mummyofrb · 13/07/2022 15:48

@Babynum2 aw hun maybe you have the severe morning sickness I can't remember the name for it but you might need fluids id def get checked bless you! Will all be worth it xxx

TeddyBeans · 13/07/2022 17:32

@Babynum2 sounds tough, hope you're being sorted out by the drs!

DS has given me his poorly. Was sick at work today so that's summer kicked off for me (term time only, finishing this week) currently hauled up on the sofa with a temperature of 38.3°. Feeling rather sorry for myself. Just hope DP doesn't catch it, would be a rubbish start to our holiday

JB2021 · 13/07/2022 22:51

Got my BFP on day 35. Will be my first. Slightly nervous.

Managed to get doctors appointment but not for another 2 weeks. It was the first they had. Hoping to call in the morning in the hope I'll get a cancellation though

Barbelldance · 14/07/2022 03:34

I've just travelled long haul home from holiday. Super ling.. qorried about clots and miscarriage. Drinking lots of water and wore flight socks.
Hopefully I'll be OK 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻💞 I'm about 5 weeks 5 days or so.
Any experience ?

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 07:10

What have you all decided about telling people? Including who and when?

Pink15 · 14/07/2022 07:18

@JB2021 don't worry about getting a doctors appointment unless you have a medical condition that you want to discuss, if you explain to reception you're pregnant they will refer you to the midwife instead :)

@JB2021 we've told our parents and a couple of my best friends who I trust and are also pregnant! Everyone else will be after 12 week scan. How about you?

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 07:21

@Pink15 as yet we haven't told anyone (only found out ourselves Tuesday). It is our first. I'm 36, nearly 37 so classed as "old" so I'm just worried!

We are going to tell parents and both our managers at work (unsure on rest of team). Decision for me is due to some lifting, covid and a risk assessment.

No other friends locally or with small children. I'm tempted to tell our brothers - none are local and then possibly 2 of my friends, one local with a 13 year old and one who lives away but with a 9 month old.

Everyone else will wait till 12weeks

This is all still to be fully decided!!!

botbump · 14/07/2022 08:24

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 07:10

We're having a reassurance scan at 8 weeks and are considering telling our parents after this. Nobody else until atleast 12 weeks though.

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 08:25

@botbump whats a reassurance scan, is that private?

botbump · 14/07/2022 08:42

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 08:25

@botbump whats a reassurance scan, is that private?

It is indeed. There are lots of companies that offer them nowadays, many at a reasonable price for us too, so we felt it was worth it to soothe the anxiety a little.

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 09:58

Managed to get a doctors appointment for today. Bit of a waste of time TBH as all he did was tell me to book a midwife appointment with reception! Even then they didn't do that as midwifes book their own first appointments

vix_85 · 14/07/2022 13:10

@JB2021 i too am 36 nearly 37 and this will be our first, all being well. Previously we have only told people after the losses for support, but this time i feel like i want to tell our patents/siblings now we know, for their support in the coming weeks/months. So difficult to know what is best though, but refusing a cold wine at BBQs will have me spotted immediately! xx

JB2021 · 14/07/2022 13:12

@vix_85 thanks. Reassuring to know we are both "old" Guessing 85 is birth year, I'm 37 in October. Husband is 41 in August.

I think we will tell parents and maybe a couple of my friends. Unsure on brothers. Both are going to tell work.

vix_85 · 14/07/2022 15:26

Yes @JB2021 a 1985 kid. I'll be 37 December :) Here's hoping a smooth ride for us both! I am appalled that we go into the 'old' category haha! x

Babynum2 · 14/07/2022 17:15

@jb2021 I have a blood condition and prone to clotting but have travelled long haul many times pregnant and no complications😀

We have told parents and siblings but not our own children. This will be our 3rd so it's a bit mehh now 😆but I will tell my boy and girl after our 12 weeks scan.

I have a scan Tuesday so if all is well then I may tell bestfriend as I know she will be very excited for us.

Babynum2 · 14/07/2022 17:16

@vix_85 you are only as old as you feel. I am 28 and I feel 58 my body isn't coping well this time!!
