Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

Hello lovely ladies!

Just found out I'm pregnant after 11 long months of trying and having started conversations about fertility treatment! We found out on holiday when I was feeling car sick constantly despite not driving at all......also after many days of drinking......the anxiety is eating me up incase I've done untold damage 😫Anyone else feeling like this?

Trying to get used to Mumsnet, tried to post earlier and not sure where it went so might be repeating myself 🤣 need a tutorial and acronym list!!!!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Anon2324 · 10/07/2022 21:40

Starting to get some achey pains:( can’t help but worry

Camia · 10/07/2022 22:05

@allthingssparkly Congratulation! I'll be 6w6d when I get my scan. I had one at right about 6 weeks with my son and wasn't able to see anything (which of course terrified me until I went back 2 weeks later and saw a little bean bouncing all over the place) so I'm a little nervous that will happen again but I'm too impatient to wait any longer 😂

@Penelope_2023 Congratulations! I'm the same way. I overthink and stress about everything. Try your best not to worry about the alcohol though, as long as you've stopped drinking now that you know it's unlikely it'll do any damage. If I understand correctly it's the prolonged exposure to alcohol over time that causes problems, and you can't blame yourself for things you did before you even knew you were pregnant. Lots of people drink before they find out and go on to have healthy babies

Handmaid2019 · 10/07/2022 22:45

@Anon2324 try not to worry, I know it's difficult. I've had some sharp pains this evening too.

Anon2324 · 10/07/2022 23:04

@Handmaid2019 hopefully all normal! It seems to be a bit better after a nice bath which i didn’t particularly enjoy because I usually have my baths roasting hot but heard its best not to while pregnant:)

TeddyBeans · 11/07/2022 07:26

@allthingssparkly congratulations!! I've got a scan at window to the womb this Saturday ❤️ I'll be 7+3

TeddyBeans · 11/07/2022 07:29

@TheCuriouscakedecorator hope you start to feel better soon ❤️

@Penelope_2023 I don't think you have much to worry about lovely, the baby doesn't connect to your blood stream for a while yet so I don't think there's any way for the alcohol to get to your little one

@Anon2324 some pains can be good, it's a sign your womb is stretching to accommodate little one. I understand the worry though

Penelope_2023 · 11/07/2022 07:34

@Camia
@TeddyBeans

Thanks so much for the reassurance! It's crazy how you suddenly worry so much about everything; I've never been anxious in my life but I can't stop thinking about the little button inside!

I booked in for a window to the womb scan a week on Sunday too (I'll be 7+4 by then) took some inspiration from everyone else! This forum is so great ❤️

Does anyone have any good exercise books /tips /routines that they are following for the first trimester?

Anon2324 · 11/07/2022 11:01

@mummyofrb congratulations!! Also had a mmc in February too:( fingers crossed everythings all good and healthy this time round for us🤞🏻🤞🏻

Laura. · 11/07/2022 12:07

Thanks @Camia for the reassurance but I'm pretty sure I'm losing 😥
Can I ask if anyone has suspected miscarriage this early has the EPU seen you? Mine won't see me, they are now telling me to go to A&E.. I feel like I'm managing the pain and bleeding but I would just like to know what's happening. I feel like I've just been left to deal with this. I don't want to waste A&E time...
Nurse on phone said to do a pregnancy test in a weeks time... 😥
Any experiences please?
Xx

Handmaid2019 · 11/07/2022 12:13

@Laura. I'm so sorry they won't help you. I had a miscarriage when I was around 7 weeks a few years ago. I did go to a&e, epu wouldn't see me, so I was sent to the gynae ward just for bloods and then they were repeated 48 hours later, the hcg level hadn't come down too much, so they repeated them again and then they confirmed I was miscarrying. Xxx

Handmaid2019 · 11/07/2022 12:17

Oh and @Laura. You are not wasting anyones time! Please go and get checked out xxx

Laura. · 11/07/2022 12:34

Ok thank you both. I will go and get checked out today when dh gets home from work. Xx

mummyofrb · 11/07/2022 12:42

@Anon2324 aw I'm so sorry! Rainbows for us both🤍 I felt different when trying last month I felt like I actually ovulated and was in with a chance whereas previous months I was sure I wasn't ovulating properly if you know what I mean? Just so bloody nervous I'm only 4 weeks from my last period so about 2/3 weeks really. Got everything crossed for us both im trying to not let my mind wander! Xxx

So sorry they won't help you @Laura. , this has been unfortunately my experience in the past too. Definitely go to A&E if you're in pain, they much not do much but at least you can have some answers.

Anon2324 · 11/07/2022 14:32

I would check and see if you have a Maternity assessment unit near by, its basically a&e for pregnant people thats what I work in. They will see you then probably refer you to EPU!!!

Kayleehawkes · 11/07/2022 17:51
