I gave them my NI number & my passport number that's the thing @larrythelizard & @Juno231, and they can't verify me from that! I def pay taxes, I've just got my SA tax bill for July today through the post!! And I've been abroad! So they want to verify my existence by my birth cert.

@DKDK123 sounds like you had a lovely break. Poor DS. Maybe he's a bit sensitive to noise - in fairness I think most people are when it comes to screaming baby!

@Juno231 thanks for the advice. She didn't mention any tests but she said that there was nothing in the scan to indicate that anything was wrong. So presumably she meant the tests for Downs syndrome. DH's niece was born with severe disabilities so I think he's nervous but I don't t think we have anything to worry about so I might just leave well enough alone.

Re the date, she thinks I'm maybe 2 days ahead of where we thought I was, but she said that IVF is usually very accurate so she's sticking with the original due date which is the 5th January. I just told some work friends there over lunch and it was fun! Maybe I do like announcing things after all!
And you're 33 weeks! Wow. Here's hoping she stays head down for you!

@Juno231 when I click on the browser version now it's opening it up like the app, are you still getting it as the old browser style?

Those that use the app what am I doing wrong? I click on the reply button on the first pic then it opens a page like the 2nd pic - so how do you remember what everyone's said to reply if this page takes over your screen do you just have to memorise who said what when youre typing? On the browser version its a box at the bottom of the screen so you can scroll back up to what everyone's said and just add to it as you go.

@DKDK123 my browser only looks like that if I open the website via an email notifying me that I've been mentioned in a thread. If I use my browser directly it still looks like it used to... They're not very good at user interfaces are they?!

Update from me is induction has been brought forward to tomorrow 😬 I was really itchy yesterday so rang antenatal assessment unit, and baby was moving but not as much as usual so they said to go in for monitoring and bloods. Saw community MW this am as was planned anyway, and my bile acid levels have gone up again despite being on medication and the dose being increased last week... so, yeah, it seems the right thing to do. I'll be 38+3 tomorrow.

Had acupuncture again today first thing and feel a bit crampy/stabby cervix so trying not to get my hopes up that baby has got wind of her impending eviction notice and decided to do things herself...🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@DKDK123 Bronte is also not napping well & v clingy atm so maybe doing the same, but that sounds very tough, glad you got a few naps in, and I'm sure DS doesn't mean it . My app looks nothing like that, mine is iPhone what's yours? I can look bottom right for "reply" and write things then click on the top right "x" and go out of it and look on the ousts then click reply again & what I've written is still there??

Well it turns out I wasn't a real grown up but I am REAL!! As my birth cert was at my parents house!! So it's now winging its way to the Passport office as we speak. Phew

Ps I think ive actually sweated from bits I didn't realise I had, not just my boobs but my nipples today as well. Literally melted 😂

Ladies, dla update, no letter yet but I received a biggish back payment today, so when the letters comes and I can see the award exactly, I’ll update the support association, and you of course, in a shell, I won my reconsideration so don’t have to appeal🎉
also, is it strange that since besties death, everything good that’s happened feels amplified and like the universe is smiling on me? no lows yet so don’t know how they’ll feel

I saw something on the internet that playing music to bump at the bottom can motivate them - so this morning dead or alive has been played to help them spin round 🤣🤣🤣

My midwife at the antenatal class recommended the website and so does the positive birth company so hopefully there's something to it! the PBC owner used the hot and cold trick herself for baby #2 she had (the one where you use a hot water bottle and a bag of frozen peas to encourage them to move) @paintfairy maybe you should give it a go for your diagonal baby 😁

@Minster2012 can't believe your parents found the certificate! so lucky in the unluckiness. Nesting is very minimal sadly. I'm still buying bits and bobs which is nice but can't go full on nesting until right at the end as there's just no space. I'd love to set up the crib now or the baby bouncer etc but I've got ages left really and they'd take up so much space in the meantime. I still have things to get like changing mats, more crib sheets, muslins, night lights and so on but am holding off a bit in case any family members ask to get us something (ha!). Although we did have a monitor gifted to us by OH's aunt last week so that's been very nice.

Ahhh that's tough with DS @DKDK123 I often find myself moving to another room when Z's balling just so it doesn't disturb/bother her. She did follow but I think the novelty is starting to wear off now she's realised he's irritates her. She's pretty chill and will generally just say "give it a rest mate" 😆 good that's he's conveying his feelings though and I'm sure he wouldn't lash out. Also use WW so I know I haven't broke baby!

@Juno231 yayyy good news on baby moving all ready 🥳 and you too @kaylsd still lots of time for baby to move and then though for you, I'm sure there's probably lots of moves you can be doing to encourage.

Been busy as DD and me had a fever so unsettled few nights, headaches, aches etc but the girl refuses calpol 🤦🏼‍♀️ Also started selling bits on Vinted, started with a couple of bits but it’s like having a full time job tbh 😂
Took Z to an osteopath in a bit of desperation on the colic, whether it will improve things who knows, he did seem to think he had some tightness round his chest following the birth but we’ll see 🤷‍♀️

So my leaving certificate (famously traumatic end of school exams in Ireland) nightmares have been replaced with baby nightmares. Last night I had a baby but I forgot to feed it and then I lost it. I woke up in a panic. DH said he had a dream where he forgot he had a baby and let it die due to neglect. WTF!

@Somatronic yay to ending pessaries. Although i did mine morning, at bed time and then like 2pm so there were no pub toilets required? I must admit, the name thing confused me even more when you explained it. 😂I'll just accept i will never understand. Swollen ankles already?! Oh no. Pleased the scan went well. Do you not get any tests done at the hospital? Here the nhs do basic ones for downs etc. But you can get the harmony type ones (yes a fortune). I didnt for that reason. I'm the same re FB and SM.

@Minster2012 i said the same to DH about changing facilities being in ladies toilets. Ridiculous. Or locked disabled ones?! None at all is even worse though. Yes i'll need a wet bag for cloth nappies. But i will use disposable initially anyway as she will be too small for the cloth until shes about 10lb or so. I've half packed the hospital bag....... Dubai? Definitely insane! I am not surprised the screaming is getting to X. I likely would feel the same. 😬I certainly would stop paying my taxes if i didnt exist.

@larrythelizard maybe the non-child people didnt realise it would be full of kids? Sounds like hell to me. I used to always try and pick places that wouldnt have them. Obviously once you have kids though you need to go to places with them. I'm not looking forwards to that! 😂

@DKDK123 i dont really use the app as i'm android and its shite? But if i do - i open the reply box in the app (it doesnt do username tags though) and i also have the browser open in my web pages. I read replies in the page and then reply in the app. It does keep what i've written as i dont close the box but you cant read replies in the app. Useless.

I am struggling to sit upright today as it feels my bump is in the way. 😂Not much to report other than i'm 36 weeks on sunday and beginning to stress that my baby will not turn and will remain oblique. What i didnt realise is theres risk of cord prolapse with that too, should you go into labour. I am not seeing anyone now until i'm 37 weeks so i've no idea what they will do. I am going to check out the spinning babies website though! Glad its a bit cooler today. Hot weather is horrific. Baby shower from hell continues. I saw one person (who i know is invited) post on fb how shes never felt so ill in her life and maybe needs antibiotics. Not testing positive so wondering if its long covid (has no idea what it is and guessing) and shes lost her voice. I was like - erm, i do not want to mingle with such people!? But i cant say too much as i'm not meant to know about it, so mum did. But shes insistent on still coming and said its likely just a cold. But like i want that either at this stage?! I'm not impressed by any of it. Equally i was on about having no clothes to wear to leave the house (generally) to my friend the other day and that i've bought some dresses (one will work for the weekend!) and her reply was - it'll probably rain anyway so just where whatever, it doesnt matter. So i'm equally thrilled she wants me to turn up looking like shite................
The good news is - i dotn have swollen feet, so i've no clue how i'm getting away with that one!

Does anyone know anything about chicken pox immunity? I thought I'd had it as a child and told that to the midwife at the booking appointment but my mum told me today that I didn't - should I tell the midwife I got it wrong at my booking appointment or is it OK?

Also, my mother in law just rang me for the first time in 13 years (clearly with a gun to her head) to congratulate me after previously completely ignoring the pregnancy when I visited her. "Hi Somatronic. DH told me to ring you. Congratulations." Lol.

@Somatronic I'd tell your midwife about the chicken pox just in case, and that's real nice of MIL 🙄....I'd be more worried about you & DH's dreams tbh

@paintfairy it wasn't X who's fed up with crying, think it was @DKDK123's, X is still very much in love with little sister thankfully. I had to ask for the key to the locked disabled /changing facility the other day but not to actually change DD it was for ME to go to the loo as she was asleep in the pram which couldn't then fit in the womens toilets, and it was just me & her so she had to come in with me 😝. Seems I can't stop paying my taxes, as I do exist! Maybe actually say to that ill person you want to keep your distance??

Also, I had to have a chat with X's best mate yesterday after he's been saying "X's mummy is having a baby boy in sep" I said "so darling I actually took a special test this morning just to check & I'M DEFINITELY NOT having a baby boy in sep, OR EVER" but strangely when I did POAS and it was negative (after a small indiscretion 2 weeks ago then a load of ewcm the day after) I was slightly disappointed im not afraid to say. Im blaming hormones. There will be no more babies here.

I agree with @Minster2012 @Somatronic -
they can check your blood antibodies too as sometimes people can have had such mild chicken pox that they don't even know about it.

So, came in to hospital at 3pm, been examined, 2cm dilated but not v effaced, had pessary and now bouncing... and about to eat a jacket potato. What a life. Next examination is at 10pm. Come on cervix! 🤞🏻 x

I'm glad you exist @Minster2012 i had a similar feeling of dread today trying to get some boiler paperwork for the house sale. I'm like you, usually super organised, but in my defence the boiler was last serviced when PTSD was 16 days old so yeah 😂 all I actually remember is hiding from the plumber because I was so sleep deprived I cried because I'd forgotten he was coming and I really wanted a nap...

I am staying firmly away from Vinted @bez91 because I know once I start that'll be it and I'll be bankrupt... which wouldn't take much right now because my mat pay has run out 😭

So PTSD woke up last night and would only resettle with me holding his hand through the cot bars until he fell asleep... so cute but also fuck off and let me sleep 😂 very conflicting emotions! Time to introduce a cuddly toy methinks...

Also after 3 months of careful home cooking and organic pouches which cost £1million each I gave PTSD his first fish finger and hash browns. WELL. Game changer!

@Juno231 no af yet, but did have ewcm last week, currently chasing that nurse and looking forward to have a conversation with a medical professional I don’t have to explain cycles to, I hope

I am still to see what the award is but definitely progress, maybe next September could be another baby boy, 3 is a nice number, just agreeing with X’s mate, what’s the snow about? awful substance, my brother says I am very Goldilocks, 12-15 degrees, dry, sunny but slightly overcast, that’s what I like, as I indeed had blond curls as a little girl, he did called me Goldilocks as a child
