@Soph0105 I'd leave the toilet seat given that a lot of people would change it when they move in anyways and they're not overly expensive if they want to replace it themselves but hadn't planned to.
@Juno231 disappointing about being sent home but definitely sounds like somethings happening, I hope you had to go back in last night π€ Did you get any further forward with finding out if you are allowed the pool birth you wanted?
Good to hear from you @feliznavidad2 hope you and bubs are settling in well, hang on in there through the sleep depriving haze of newborness, you've got this πͺ
@larrythelizard definitely try get some meet ups arranged if you're feeling a bit isolated just now. What about trying that peanut app find some others in your area who are on or about to go on mat leave (was it juno that tried it before?)
@Somatronic that's disappointing having to cut your holiday short, glad you can still get away for at least the first week, but it's not the point if you'd planned two π
@paintfairy I just got a universal pram cover off amazon, its nothing fancy but does the job and it has a zip window, if you were concerned about baby getting enough fresh air you could always unzip it a bit. I'll find the link

No advice on the trapped wind I'm afraid, DD is terrible for holding onto wind, I've tried Infacol, Gripe water, dentinox, every position, leg movements, bum wiggle and rub going on Google and tik tok π but I will say the older they get the easier it becomes for them to get wind up so I'm guessing time is the only magic cure tho there are lots of different things to try out there, one may work for you.
How exciting @Vil10 keeping everything crossed it goes swiftly and you get to hold your little bundle soon
