@Vil10 I swear that DS arrived much more closely with my originally worked out DD than the 12 week scan date. 4th isn't too far away, 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 tightly crossed that baby makes an appearance sooner rather than later!

@paintfairy keep going darling you are doing great no matter what you think, it is so hard that first week and months you are just feeling like a deflated tired angry feeding machine. If you can express & get DH to help that's great, leave the room & try & get some rest but I know what you mean about not being able to sleep at that point. I called B squeaker 😍

Yep @Minster2012 2 more days! Need to find some people to have coffee with next week as I have no plans (have stuff planned Thurs and Friday this week). Also couldn't sleep last night for spinning out about having a date booked and the impact of new baby and me having a big cut on my tummy and not be able to do all the stuff I do with DS now for a bit...not sure why I'm worried about that now, it's a bit too late to worry about it!

@paintfairy you're doing so well, you're in the worst bit now. It really does get better quickly but it feels like forever when you're there... just hang on in there 😘

So lads I have an ethical dilemma this morning. H has cracked one of the little plastic bits on the underside of the toilet seat so it's a bit skew whiff when you sit on it 😂 it's 4 weeks til we move shit shit shit and it's a really cheap loo seat. Do I do the right thing and just buy a new loo seat? Or do I leave it as a shitty surprise for the new owners?!

@Juno231 DH told him to shut up and the call was ended pretty quickly. At this rate he's going to be lucky if he even gets to meet his granddaughter when she arrives!! Ooooh I wonder if your clear out is a sign of baby turning up soon?!

Well baby girl was crazy active last night and it looks like she's settled somewhere new as my bump is actually looking very round today 😂 managed to speak to HR yesterday about holidays and how it all works, so I'll be talking with my manager at some point soon about it again. Hopefully, as I'm now armed with info, the conversation will go a little smoother 🙈

@Soph0105 how noticeable is it when you sit? Because a skewed seat would drive me nuts and make it worth fixing if just for my own sanity 😂

Just popping my head in briefly. Was up most of the night with period cramps and pressure down towards my bum that made me feel like I needed to poop when I didn't? What a mind f*. Got up at 7 and it all fizzled out but then my waters broke at 8...

So I'm currently in triage where they're trying to confirm my waters did indeed break. Except there's no enough on my pad for them to test - their inspection with a speculum didn't show much and so now they're making me bounce on a ball on a pad to try and force some out...

I'll be embarrassed if nothing comes out!

MIL made comments the night we told her we were pregnant, something a long the lines of "don't be bringing any shitty arse nappy babies here" I turned round and said "don't worry we won't" it infuriated me!! Isn't it crazy when you can tell whereabouts they're led!! Hope it all goes well with your manager today!!

Another beach day here with X's mate & my friend & baby, the boys are being really annoying & it's winding us right up 😂

Well I got sent home as I didn't manage to leak any more for them to confirm. They told me to wear a pad and come back if I leak - and I literally had a trickle when leaving the hospital but now I just feel crazy and like I need to wait to fill the pad properly before I repeat this palaver. @Minster2012 @Soph0105 you two give me hope though lol. I honestly feel bananas - this morning it was a big gush and it had both streaks of bloody mucous and discharge in it so it can't have come from my urethra at least 😂

Anyway I just had a nap and woke up to messages from one BIL's gf about me being labour... omg I'm fuming (won't help start labour lol, I need oxytocin!). Turns out OH told his parents it was happening and they've told the wider family and I just feel like a right old fool :(

@bez91 he didn't get out of his run though and he's now missing a fancy dinner tonight so I guess that's karma biting him in the arse at least!

@juno231 your bodies deffo doing something whether it’s the start of things to come or already started, don’t feel silly you’ve done the right thing by getting checked over and you never know it could have been your waters just might need a little bit more as you’ve said to gather for them to test! Try not to worry about too much of what others are thinking right now you and your OH & little one who may make their appearance anytime soon as the only things what matter right now ❤️

When I had a internal at 32 week DH was like how did you not even batter a eyelid at that?! my ELCS is next Wednesday so week tomorrow, will find out at pre op Friday more details on times I’m sure

@inkypaper I’ve had my first hormonal week this week where I couldn’t decide to be happy or sad stressed and sensitive, so I don’t think it fades with it coming to me at 38 week 🤣🙈 the joys! I’m more human now though today!

My hospital are making me cut my summer holiday short to visit the endocrinologist. I'm not leaving the country do it's not a huge deal but I'm annoyed now that I'll only get a week away. I had planned a second week staying with my parents to spend time with them, my nieces and my friends who I haven't seen properly in ages. I already have an endocrinologist who checks my bloods every 4 weeks and has looked after me for 8 years and this is the first time a maternity endocrinologist was ever mentioned and it has to be done NOW like it's a big panic even though they've known about my endocrine diseases since 12 weeks. FFS!

@Somatronic hope the MIL visit wasn't too painful. Glad she behaved. Glad the 16 week appointment went OK. I think I started feeling things just around that point but it wasn't obvious until I looked back later. By 19 weeks I was sure. 🤣 Monologue on parking spots.

@Vil10 the strep thing is odd- our trust don't test for it at all. Although the are doing some trial and took a sample from the babies cord for it. So whether they are looking to? No idea. Waiting after your scan is an arse but sounds standard. They think you have nothing better to do. At least all looks ok though. Its just a pain now waiting! Although when it does happen its like- shit, I don't know if I want to do this! 🤣 Moving people half way through labour is ludicrous! Surely they should prioritise people already there.
@Soph0105 don't talk to me about baby clothes. Nothing fits mine. Too small, too big, arms or legs (or both) not long enough. Who are they made to fit?! And inconsistent sizing between shops...... Moving house is definitely miserable. Workmen with music on really pisses me off. No consideration. Finger fasting update was disappointing! Rubbish.

@Minster2012 yes the frugi sizes do look big! I put mine all by size but then have to compare them to each other as week. Annoyingly she's small so newborn are mostly too big. But smaller baby don't have long enough arms or legs. 🤣

Any advice for trapped wind? Baby not me. 🤣 She does get it high up but mostly i can shift that. But she also gets it low down. I don't think she's pooing enough (weeing plenty though) and I'm going to ask the HV when she comes. But she gets trapped wind and really upset and unsettled. Seems to be once a day ish. She's just been farting so I'm hoping she's dislodged it. But I just feel helpless? Other than keep changing her position and moving her about. 🤷‍♀️

Just popping in to say things are underway!!
Was sat at the table at home signing something around 10:30 and I felt a pop and said to OH oooo I just had a weird popping feeling, then my waters came, all over our new chairs and floor😂😂 rang triage they told me to come in, tested and it was my waters definitely, and because of being strep b positive they had to monitor to see if I was having regular contractions which I wasn't so they've had to put the pessary in, which I really didn't want but I know it's necessary to stop the risk of baby getting the infection! Had an examination and she said my cervix was really far back and it was uncomfortable!! Had my first lot of antibiotics for strep b and cramps are ramping up, just been taken to the ward now and we have a bat to ourselves!! Hopefully contractions will get stronger and we can go to the birth suite sooner rather than later🤞🏼🤞🏼

@paintfairy sent you an IG msg for something that helped slightly with bottom wind but no magic cure I'm afraid 😩
