@larrythelizard so close to finishing work then you can rest up πŸ₯³

@bez91 I've been non stop broody too, I think it is the knowledge that she's my last that's doing it. I actually had a dream the sterilisation failed and I ended up pregnant with twins and the consultant kept telling me I couldn't carry them or it'd kill me and I refused to get rid of them, I was actually gutted when I woke up and realised it was just a dream even with the knowledge it would be dangerous πŸ™ˆ

Ohh @Vil10 it must be tough hitting due date with no sign of baby shifting. Although hopefully the cramps were the start of something and things ramp up soon 🀞 It's good you have the car back tho, that's one less stress to think about. Shall send lots of positive eviction vibes your way, come on baby your Mummy has been waiting a long time to meet you, let's have another due date baby!

The glamorous life of motherhood. I had DD lying on my knees yesterday, she was very quiet and settled after hours of screaming so I was happy, unbeknown to me she was content as she had filled her nappy so much it had leaked out the side of her leg and all over me. I've no idea how I didnt smell it or notice, it wasn't till I went to lift her up and got a handful of shit that I realised my jeans were covered in it too πŸ™ˆ

larrythelizard · 01/08/2022 07:43

You've still got time @Vil10, it's not even 8am. They sound like pretty strong cramps so your body is obv getting going. I fell down a google hole the other day and some American research thought that due date was more typically 40+3/4 for first babies (for second babies apparently most likely to be similar to first babies which means with no ELCS ill essentially still be pregnant forever!) I'd tell people to go away and that I'd be in touch when I was ready, but then I'm a grumpy cow!

Jeez @bez91 that doesn't sound fun. At least DD can be bribed/rewarded after?? Have you had follow up appts after your ECG yet?

Franklydear · 01/08/2022 07:55

@Vil10 my mum was constantly calling (she doesn't text) with ds, so once I said yes mum, he was born 3 days ago, then waited till she finished her flip to tell her we would have obviously called, she never asked again, or any of my aunties... He was born a week later

Happy to report that builder thinks they'll be done by Wednesday and that we can buy the appliances, I'll get them delivered on Saturday just in case overruns, but yes looking good
Cd 1 here again, proper textbook cycle, spotting yesterday and full flow today, so body behaving, haven't got any appointments through yet

kaylsd · 01/08/2022 08:42

@larrythelizard good luck with your consultant appointment today hopefully you get your ELCS date today 🀞🏻 I thought it was today when I asked, hopefully the heartburn is a reflection of lots of hair on the little one when first born :’) did your DS have lots of hair too?
@bez91 he was asking me if he can bring his own crocs I said to him I can’t see why not but apparently at the trust I’m under they were wellies in theatre? So it’s going to be an interesting fashion vibe for him ;) I cannot believe Z is 12 weeks old already how much is time flying πŸ₯ΉπŸ‘€ I think it’ll be your hormones with the broody vibes but 3 isn’t a big family either so you never know what paths you may go down! Good luck at the hospital today sweetheart hopefully everything goes smooth for you :)
@vil10 happy due date angel! Don’t worry about the interference from others I think they cannot help but be nosey! It’s surprising how many people come out of the woodworks when it comes to babies being due / born! They make us feel like we should walk around with billboards what say very much still pregnant! My inlaw family are doing similar as we are keeping the c section date private and keep trying to guess out clues to the date from off duties n hospital appointments and I feel like I should walk around with a sign what points to bump saying still serving time inside πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ hopefully your body is gearing up for the main event soon darling, we are all here for you :)
@DKDK123 do they call that a poonami like they do on the pampers adverts I think? Hahaha and you wonder why she was so content ;) better out that in though right? Maybe not so much for Jeans exploding!
@franklydear good news about cd1 being a normal cycle & the builders, hopefully it all comes together nicely for you! Hopefully the appointments are not too far away in the post for you 🀞🏻

Feeling moody today but hey Ho! happy due date month though to @larrythelizard @vil10 & @juno231 and myself, cannot wait to see the next influx of bus babies ☺️ especially being one of the team yellow ones the suspense is nearly over! ☺️

Juno231 · 01/08/2022 08:59

@larrythelizard In the UK first time mums apparently give birth at 41+3 on average - I try really hard not to think about that though!

@vil10 today could still be the day it all kicks off! Your signs look super promising, I've got everything crossed for you

@Franklydear hahaha love that you played that joke on your mum! serves them right - as if we'd forget to tell them

@Minster2012 gosh I saw the pics from the birthday party and I don't know how you have the energy woman! Loved the pics of B - can't believe how big she looks.

@kaylsd thanks for asking - I think I might be in the latent phase of labour tbh! My mucus plug came out yesterday in a big clump and then I've kept losing more of it whenever I go to the loo. Had contractions for an hour yesterday morning, then period pains/back pain at night so there's definitely stuff going on. Shame it could be like this for a while though lol. Can't believe you are having your baby next week though! Must be so surreal knowing the date like that <3 Happy due date month to us all!

OH has an 18km run tomorrow morning that he's really not fit enough for after a summer of beer of sausages - he was sooo hoping I'd get him out of it by having the baby early πŸ˜‚

Minster2012 · 01/08/2022 09:12

Come on august bus babies!

Sorry bit quiet here. I'm also a mix of emotions & X woke up as devil reincarnate today & I woke up with killer migraine & I've been sick already.

Got my coil fitting at lunch so did preg test just in case & rightfully negative but again feel deflated. Weird.

Literally dragging X around a field now to dog walk & he's howling.

@DKDK123 I also had a nappy incident yesterday. Someone I know was holding B after we saw them in a cafe & I thought I spotted a wet patch on her clothes so grabbed her & literally as I did she totally soaked through her whole nappy & clothing & onto me as a I held her whilst trying not to show it outwardly πŸ˜‚thank god it was on me not her loads of it no idea how it happened

@bez91 good luck for the jabs & ecg stay strong lady

Sorry can't reply to everyone

Minster2012 · 01/08/2022 09:18

Oooo but @Juno231 that sounds promising & bless your OH thinking the baby would get out of the run, get on it!

2020mission · 01/08/2022 09:33

@kaylsd there's got to be some boys for the yellow ladies surely πŸ˜… excited for you all reaching due date month!

@Juno231 I always wonder what this mucus plug is like as I never saw anything πŸ˜‚ but I know it's a tease as it can come away a week or so before anything actually happens. Hopefully it's a good sign for you though.

Because of my induction before the due date I didn't experience anyone bugging me asking if baby was here yet thankfully. I think my mum was a bit annoyed as my husband only contacted family at about 9am to let them know Matthew had been born at 5.24am. Just because I went straight into theatre with the retained placenta and haemorrhage so he was left holding Matthew and naturally was focused on us for the morning once I got out into the HDU.

dmb91 · 01/08/2022 10:29

Wow this bus moves fast! I'll try harder to keep up πŸ˜‚
@larrythelizard I'm on omeprazole for acid reflux anyway which has been helping.

Oh god.. this bra talk! I'm starting off at 36hh so I'm guess there's no hope for me πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I've been wearing molkes for about 18months, best switch I ever made!

These anti sickness meds are amazing! I still have odd waves of nausea but I'm able to leave the house πŸ₯³ The exhaustion is unreal though and I'm really struggling with 11pm finishes at work but don't want to tell them yet. I think I'm only 5+4 today.
Really hoping for twins so I never have to do pregnancy again πŸ˜‚
Scan booked for 24th when I think I'll be 8+6.

Any suggestions on fun ways to tell parents? I don't want to just blurt it out. My mum is 100% gonna cry. Will be first grand baby on both sides and no one knows we've been trying.

InkyPaper · 01/08/2022 12:00

FIL put his foot in it again... SIL announced she's having a boy and he turned to DH and said "don't worry, you'll have a boy next time". I suspect he was being 'funny' but it's just hurtful at this point. Feel like he's implying that my baby is somehow less because she's a girl, which is absolutely not the case!! Ended up crying about it, which annoyed me even more πŸ™ˆ

Thanks for the advice of work stuff everyone, I've emailed HR with a long list of questions and will see how far I get...

Starting to get crazy hormonal again and super hungry just like in first trimester - is this a thing?! I thought I was done with the crazy appetite and the random bouts of crying?! πŸ˜‚

@dmb91 the bra situation is such a massive pain!! I started off in a 32FF and am currently in a 34H, so definitely hoping they don't get bigger as the larger sizes cost a fortune!! Bravissimo do a maternity fitting, which I found helpful - gave me a start point if nothing else! No suggestions for cute reveals though - we just blurted it out πŸ˜‚

So many due dates this month! Feels like time is flying, keep checking in just to see if anyone's had another bus baby πŸ˜„

@Minster2012 hope you feel a million percent better soon and that your day improves β€οΈπŸ€—

Juno231 · 01/08/2022 13:39

@whatwonder I forgot to say - thank you for letting me know about your monitoring + birth pool experience! That will make it easier for me to argue my case with that confidence boost. Obviously there are so many other things that could happen that mean I won't get to try but I can give it my best 😁

@InkyPaper I'd be so pissed honestly! what a load of cack for him to say that! And no one piped up??

@Minster2012 oh crap I'm sorry about the migraine, I hope it passes quickly and that someone can come help you?

@2020mission ha yes I'm fully expecting the plug to grow back again and still be here heavily pregnant in three weeks' time lol.

Just tried to have a nap at lunch but have had period like cramps instead and even more of the πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©. Really feels like a proper clear out!

DKDK123 · 01/08/2022 14:12

@Franklydear I love your reply to your mum πŸ˜‚ Good to hear a textbook cycle AF has appeared hopefully it continues that way

@kaylsd it was indeed a major poonami 🀣

@Minster2012 hope the migraine has eased and that the coil fitting went.....well as pleasurable as a coil fitting can be, and what is in the air just now making us all broody despite our sleep deprived states πŸ™ˆ

@InkyPaper I'd call FIL out on it next time he (or MIL) makes a comment on the gender. Just say openly "I'm sure your granddaughter will be feeling the love when she's older and finds out her grandparents wished she was born a boy, just as well her own parent are excited about her being a much wanted and much loved girl"

@Juno231 mucus plug gone, cramps and shits.......I don't think you'll be waiting much longer, that definitely sounds like your body is clearing out getting ready for a baby eviction, so exciting! 😊

DS is driving me round the bend today his tantrums have been unreal 😫 Literally acting like a brat which is something he's never done before as in actually jumping up and down screaming "I want it, I want it, I want it!" When I told him no for something! Have no idea where he's picked up that from but it will definitely be getting nipped in the bud ASAP 😑 I then told him to go and sit down at another point when he was misbehaving and he replied like a surly teenager "No! You tell dogs to sit, not humans. I am a human not a dog!" 😲😲😲😲 WTF he's 4! God help me in the teenage years if this is what I'm getting already. 😫 The only silver lining is he did eventually come and apologise of his own accord which is something at least.......only lasted half an hour before the attitude started up again tho. So much for my good start to this morning, I spoke too soon and jinxed it πŸ™ˆ

Juno231 · 01/08/2022 14:18

@DKDK123 haha my goodness maybe DS will be a barrister one day with that kind of argumentative logic! Poonami or devil DS - which do you prefer? πŸ˜ƒI hope you're right about labour being near but I feel like I'm having impostor syndrome/being silly by getting my hopes up so I'm pretending like it'll be another week at least!

Soph0105 · 01/08/2022 14:23

Just a quick check in, sounds like these august babies are gearing up! 🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻 sorry to the nappy disasters πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

Vil10 · 01/08/2022 14:39

@bez91 my mum said do I think I could be in slow labour but I wouldn't actually know?? And don't think I've had any contractions! I've ended up ignoring people, I don't mind so much from close friends and family but it's how they word them, like they aren't arsed if I'm actually getting on okay it's just "any news??? We're really hoping it's soon" no pressure or anythingπŸ™ƒ I ran some errands this morning but other than that noπŸ˜’ I can't believe he's 12 weeks already, where has that time gone!! Also think being broody is completely normal, I've always wanted 3 children as well!! I hope it all goes well and smooth for you today lovely x

@DKDK123 I really hope so! Well I rang the garage this morning asking what time is best and they said "oh it'll be Wednesday now, we've done the painting but still need to x y and z" basically the bulk of it all, so I just lost my shit, when I dropped my car off he knew today was my due date and he asked when I needed it back, baring in mind I dropped it off last Monday, and I said asap and he said "we'll have it to you for Monday" yeah okayπŸ™„ I hope your positive vibes work!! Hahahaha oh what a shit show, literally!!

@larrythelizard pray for me that it happens todayπŸ˜‚They we're strong I have to say, I did a few deep breaths with them! Maybe I'll be a little bit more patient until it gets to Friday then I'll be losing my shit!! 🀞🏼 you get your date today!!

@Franklydear hahaha I like that, I might do the same!! Wow your builders seem to have really got a wriggle on and been really smooth!! Exciting ordering new appliances too!

@kaylsd you're so right!! People just want to be nosey, but some people who have messaged I just think you would literally be so so far down the list of people I'll be telling as soon as the baby is here so why are you even messaging me askingπŸ˜’ I like how you're keeping your section date private! We've said once I go into labour it'll only be OH's mum and my sister and dad who know (my mum will be with us) because I don't want the pressure of people texting and asking how I'm getting on! Hope you start to feel a little more positive on the day goes on!!

@Juno231 Thankyou I really do hope so but with your signs it looks like you might go before me!! I hope it means positive things for you too🀞🏼 what're your secretsπŸ˜‚

@Minster2012 hope the coil fitting goes okay!!

@dmb91 glad the sickness has eased that's a bonus!!

@InkyPaper ohh that's so annoying!! I hate when people make comments like that, I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from saying something!!

bez91 · 01/08/2022 16:14

@DKDK123 bonkers dream πŸ˜† did I recall you saying DH was also having a vasectomy to be on the triple side? The tantrums for you today sound exhausting 😩 solidarity! DD had an almighty meltdown last night because we only had plain biscuits and no chocolate ones πŸ™„

@larrythelizard DH certainly bribed DD, multiple Jelly babies and she's off to get a new princess dress tomorrow apparently πŸ˜† still no news on my ECG πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
I'm predicting a majority of boys for the next yellow bus babies this month @kaylsd@larrythelizard @Vil10 πŸ’™

@Franklydear definitely sensible to be cautious about ordering things, I'd do the same as you and wait until Saturday! Not good on CD1 ☹️ but a textbook cycle could be good

@kaylsd wellies wow ok πŸ˜‚ childbirth no matter vag or sunroof isn't glamorous and neither is postpartum so why should he look good in theatre πŸ™ˆ

@Juno231 definitely hold the baby in a bit longer to put DH through the gruelling run! Sounds promising for you too 🀞🏼 hopefully not too much longer, my body cleared out before DD about 24 hours before I had her!

@InkyPaper honestly they sound bonkers, take no notice! Definitely call them out next time and ask them to explain their logic!

@Vil10 there's no way of knowing, Everyone's experience of contractions seem so different, I couldn't feel any contractions in active labour first time round yet the machine said I was having them. It differs so so much! Maybe if anyone messages you, just leave them hanging and don't respond 😊

larrythelizard · 01/08/2022 17:23

Baby has got lots of hair @kaylsd (saw it on the 32w scan) - DS and DH are very hairy too so not unexpected.

I think it sounds like you're on the way @Juno231, sending you quick (averagely quick not obscenely quick) labour vibes and maybe something to happen overnight so DH gets out of the run! I was weirdly jealous of people I saw running yesterday, I don't even really like running!

Boo to migraine and coil fitting, what a day @Minster2012. Hope migraine has gone and coil went in OK.

Scan will come round really quick @dmb91

Fucking idiots @InkyPaper I bet they'll all be obsessed with baby girl when she arrives!

Hard day @DKDK123 - maybe it's a full moon or something?!

You're a better woman than me @Vil10 I'll be telling no one when I go in to have the baby, other than the ILs who will have DS but they don't want much advance notice so they can't accidentally tell anyone.

I bet you really wanted a new princess dress for you @bez91 so need your ECG so you can have one!

Having said I'm telling no one re baby date, you lot don't count! Booked in for ELCS for 12th Aug. Whoop! Countdown is on!

And one of my friends has told me she's pregnant today and they've had a 5 year infertility battle so a good day all round (even though I mainly ate Pringles for lunch and now paying for it in heartburn!)

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 01/08/2022 20:19

@2020mission your family were annoyed you told them like 4 hours later?? What,? Honestly ppl say the strangest things. We kinda had similar got told we should have told them straight away when I went in & even DH said "we made that mistake last time & he took ages to arrive & all we got were loads of messages πŸ˜‚"

@dmb91 yeyyyy for meds! I swear half this bus was on omeprazole at one point πŸ˜‚I find the molke great but not as good as I expected for breastfeeding (but that didn't last long). What kind of things do you like /your parents for telling them? For X I did a scratch card thing & gave it to them, it was Xmas day. They knew were trying & had MCs for B so just told them!

Big hug to @InkyPaper cos That's really stupid shit they are talking, did you say anything back or was it just dumbfounding? Hugs though xx

@Juno231 cN you argue before you have to go in or is it just waiting til she wants to make an appearance? My parents had to come over to watch B so that picked X up. I think she's really close!! Not close enough to get him out of the race if you close your legs mind you πŸ˜†before that quick but not too quick Labour @larrythelizard is wishing for you?!

@Vil10 yeah i never had a thing for strep B either I don't think. How you feeling now darling? Which way are the hangers in the wardrobe now??

@bez91 DH also getting a vasectomy for double power here too πŸ˜‚and actually at the weekend he said he needed to get onto the doctor actually. I think jelly babies and a princess dress are very deserved...is that what you get too?? Which princess dress you gonna go for?! 😊

@DKDK123 I def know those kind of tantrums so know what it's like, but you are bossing it women don't forget that πŸ’“do you not think in answer to @Juno231 poonami or devil DS it's easily poonami every time, a lot easier to sort out 😜

@kaylsd love that you are keeping it secret, get to spend time together, was it next Thursday? (We don't count)

@larrythelizard YOU ARE TELLING US. You better. She says & don't think I did did i?! I was texting @blackcurrantqueen though saying "I think I'm in Labour" when seeing she was online but she knew about the game of "amniotic fluid or semen?" So we'll let you off πŸ˜‚

Currently sat in the bath, the coil fitting was actually better than expected, they said "oh you didn't flinch at all!" Well I'm no stranger to a dildo cam my friend πŸ˜‚but cramping now & bleeding which I'm actually guessing is Af?! Not sure though.

Anything else I miss??

Franklydear · 01/08/2022 20:33

Thank you all, good day, as promised sink and surfaces are on, just doors, flooring and tiles left now, he doesn't mess about, time to start looking
With af and the heat I really suffered today at work, and I have a couple of orders that I needed to be working on, ds had a night terror yesterday, very unusual, so nobody slept either, it's just his routine disrupted and yesterday he forgot to take his melatonin to see what happens, this! This happens! He took it, had a good cry and slept by 1 am....
Just looking out for the due dates and the poonamies, just ignore people ladies,

Franklydear · 01/08/2022 20:40

@InkyPaper on my in-laws it was in reverse, looking for the precious girl, sorry yours is a boy too, well, guess which grandchild they never see now? lots of boys around all the time
@Minster2012 I hope you get sorted soon, we haven't done anything about it yet, the September deadline (can you still call it that when you keep moving it?) is round the corner (again)

paintfairy · 01/08/2022 23:48

@InkyPaper I would have said something really sarcastic. What a twat. Next time say - its actually my preference for a girl, because I won't have to repeat myself constantly trying to explain basic things. 🀭
@larrythelizard how do you see hair on a scan? No one ever said anything to me. Until she was coming out.......
@Vil10 That come when they are ready. But I was stressing about mine too and I never even got to 'late', But didn't they bring your due date forwards from what you thought anyway? Based on the 12 week scan? In which case you might not actually even quite be at due date technically.
@DKDK123 Sounds hard work with DS.

I still need to read through stuff. Just literally get no time. I think I'm dying. I actually cried earlier about how tired I was. I don't even feel tired. Just ill now. I struggle to sleep when she is even. Listening to her squeaking. Or I drift and wake up panicking that I've fallen asleep with her on me. Which I haven't. Its the weight of my my enormous boobs. And to those of you complaining about growth prior to birth (I went up 2 sizes) wtf happens after is going to be a shock, I'm sorry to say. πŸ™ˆπŸ€£
Today was horrific. This afternoon she decided she was permanently starving. But didn't feed that much. Fell asleep and stopped. I would then wind her. Scream. Repeat. For like 4 hours solid. 😭 I couldn't decide if she wasn't getting enough or any or what. Then of course she won't sleep for a length of time as she's apparently hungry. And angry. I'm trying to express so I've back up milk I can bottle feed her. Sat doing that now on the left side as its sore that side and not fun for her to feed. So I'm trying to give it a break to recover. Right one is OK. I still need to properly tell you my ridiculous birth story too. When I can think straight......
Hope everyone is OK!

DKDK123 · 02/08/2022 06:00

@Juno231 I would 100% take poonami over DSs attitude at the minute any time. Poonamis are easily cleaned up and over with in 5mins, DSs behaviour feels like it's going on forever. 🀯
Is your body still teasing you or have your cramps etc eased off?

@Vil10 I'd be so pissed off with the garage messing you about like that especially when they know you're ready to go into labour at any point now

@bez91 yea DH is getting the snip just to make sure there's no swimmers manage to slip through the tied tubes (which knowing my luck despite how hard it was to get pregnant that would totally happen!). My womb ruptured during surgery from the scar where DS was taken from, it definitely is too fragile to withstand another pregnancy so I know I have to make sure it definitely can't happen........but there's that crazy broody part of me right now that really wishes it did so I've held off nagging him to book the vasectomy πŸ™ˆ Really need to get on it and make him book it this week.
And I'm with your DD, I'd have had a meltdown if there were only plain ones left too πŸ˜‚

@larrythelizard so exciting your date is so close 😊 How are you feeling about it? And what amazing news about your friend after 5 years.

@dmb91 sorry I must have missed your post. For DSs announcement we gave the grandparents a card, on the outside it said 'Congratulations you're going to be babysitters!' And then inside '........sorry, I mean Grandparents' with a photo of the scan. There were tears all round that day. With DD we had DS wear a T shirt with 2 dinos on it that said big brothersaurous and just didn't say anything until they spotted it.

@Minster2012 you'll be like yes a coil is a walk in the park compared to what I've been through πŸ˜‚ Hope the cramping has eased up. I'm hating the whole return of AF, while pregnancy was no breeze, getting rid of AF for a while was great, I'm just annoyed she returned so damn early!

@Franklydear sounds as though its all coming together nicely. Hopefully you'll all get back into your routine soon.

@paintfairy you'll probably find you will cry a lot from exhaustion in those early days and Google things like can I die from so little sleep! There's a reason they use sleep deprivation as a method of torture in the forces its because it blood works and does make you feel like you're slowly losing your mind. Hang on in there I promise it does get better. And cluster feeding is brutal too, it can feel like a never ending stop start all day, don't worry it's not that she's not getting enough it's a completely normal phase that babies do to try up your milk supply but it does feel brutal and never ending. Just have snacks within reach, keep your top off and just spend the day in bed with her letting her come on and off as often as she needs while you chill watching tv/listening to an audio book etc just completely lower all expectations of doing anything during spurts of cluster feeding. You're doing great, keeping small people alive is both physically and emotionally draining but you'll soon find your own rhythm with her and it'll all start to fall into place. It's good that there are some more bus babies due so you can all swap stories of them at a similar stage and you wont feel so alone, try not compare yourself with the bus babies that are all 3/4months old now and think how on earth are they leaving the house and functioning when I'm finding it this hard, we were all there too at the grueling newborn stage and it will pass quicker than you know it and a crazy part of you will wish you could go back and do it all over again. You've got this πŸ’ͺ

@bez91 I have a feeling I'm having a girl but obviously no hard evidence, just a guessπŸ˜‚ but I'll be more shocked if it's a boy! Good advice, I ignored quite a few people yesterday and then got another message "does you not replying mean you're in labour?!" No it means you're pissing me off!

@Minster2012 I think it's a really new thing from what others have said! I was really fed up but I feel a bit better today, just trying to relax and stay calm and know baby will come when he/she is ready! Just hope by the time they arrive they still fit in the cute coming home outfit I've gotπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ hangers are still firmly the wrong way roundπŸ˜‚ no stranger to a dildo camπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ way too many objects up the muff to give a dam!!

@paintfairy you are right, going off last period my due date was the 4th then from my 12 week scan they brought it forward to the 1st, so could still be the 4th, I guess we'll see!! Oh the tiredness doesn't sound fun and I can't exactly offer any advice as I don't know obviously hahaha, but you sound like you're doing amazing and from what others have said, it does get easier, you can do thisπŸ’ͺ🏽

@DKDK123 I was so annoyed!! He said he'd try and get it ready for me today and they'll let me know this morning, I just ended the call with "well it's not really good enough" and put the phone down! Also great advice for paint fairy!!

So obviously after my sweep on Saturday I had on off cramps and some bleeding, that had stopped by Saturday night though then yesterday afternoon I went for a wee and when I wiped there was quite a bit of blood, not as red as like af but darker than light pink and a little bit in the toilet too, so I stuck a pad on had my dinner and went about my day and text my midwife friend, then went back to the toilet and had lost some on the pad but when I wiped it was more brown and mucusy than the previous watery one, had cramps and back ache, my midwife friend said with the first lot being watery she thinks it's best I rang triage just in case it was my waters, rang triage, went in at 6, baby seemed happy, did an examination, babies head is low they said but it wasn't my waters, I was quite relieved really because I know bloody waters isn't the best! Had cramps on and off but fine this morning other than being kept up in the night for really bad shooting pains in my left nippleπŸ₯΄

@paintfairy it will get easier but it's really tough to start with! You'll both find your groove with feeding soon enough - the constant feeding is a good sign as it means she's trying to fully establish your milk! Is it possible to give her to DH for an hour or so and put a sleep mask on/some ear plugs in and have a nap?

Kitchen sounds exciting @Franklydear - September deadline being round the corner is frankly terrifying (that it's coming close to September not that it's your deadline).

Pleased coil fitting was OK @Minster2012

Woke up most hours last night with nightmares/being sore/too hot/needing a wee which was very annoying, will have a snooze today I think!

@paintfairy no one tells you that by about 6 weeks your milk supply is established and pain eases. Baby also feeds less frequently on you as the weeks pass as they get better at drinking when they do. I know that probably sounds like a long time but just wanted to let you know it does get easier. The first few weeks are hard going with the lack of sleep, constant feeding and pains.
