@kaylsd thankyou!! I'm praying it does and that it comes back quick too so I don't have to wait!! It seems everywhere is short staffed again round here too, a girl I know gave birth a couple of weeks ago and started in our local birth centre, half way through whilst in the pool they had to transfer her to the hospital because they didn't have enough midwives to cover the next shift!!! I understand it can't be helped but imagine half way through labour after already 9 hours of pain having to be moved because of that, I'd have been livid!! I hope they decide to come a little earlier too, or a due date baby would be coolπ€πΌ your old film day sounds perfect and I love willy wonka!!
@Franklydear Thankyou lovely, your next month sounds hectic but exciting for getting new kitchen and bathroom!!
@bez91 oh god your MIL, I couldn't copeπ however I feel like this is what mine will be like, I've already said to my mum I can picture it the first time she holds the baby she'll be so awkward and uncomfortable, like she's holding a bomb or something, and it'll really annoy me and I'll have to say somethingπ€£
@BellatrixK im really happy that there's someone there who has already been told to look after usπ just got to hope she's working on the day I go inπ€πΌ it was you!! I get so confused on who's who!! Sounds an exciting day doing the nursery, I also loved doing ours, didn't mind the painting one bit! I'm sure it'll be lovely once finished!! Have fun in Cumbria!
@larrythelizard my midwife at my last appointment said they can give me one from 39 weeks which is today, but think I'm going to hold off and if nothing by Wednesday/Thursday I might ring up and book one in, she said I can just call the birth centre and they can get me in that day! Isn't it funny how we clean before a cleanπ the end is almost there for you now, push through the pelvic pain!
@Minster2012 how surreal!!
@DKDK123 Well I thought that was the case but since early yesterday morning I've had no more cramps or anythingπ hope you're getting on well x
@Minster2012 Sounds like you have a lovely week planned for him, however very stressful and hectic for youπ€£ where are you having the party?
So I woke up yesterday to breakfast and a brew in bed from OH, went and did some food shopping and got home and he was back doing house jobs, little shitty bits of jobs like adding new skirting to the bit where the wall and door were knocked down etc, prepping the house ready for painting today, I masking taped round the window sills and light switches and he told me to go and sit down and chill which I did, he literally worked doing little jobs all day, took a quick break to prep a pheasant for tea and put it in the oven, then tidied up the mess from his work, made the rest of tea and then washed and cleaned up too!!! I felt like a princessπ he's drafted in a handful of his friends today to get all the painting done in the house, all rooms, walls, ceilings (obviously we'd already done a few so luckily isn't the whole house) then he'll be moving the old sofas into the garage, cleaning the living room ready for our new sofas to be delivered tomorrow, electrician is back on Wednesday to fit the rest of the spotlights, wall lights and new hob and then that's about it for big jobs, only one left is to get a stud wall put up between 2 rooms to make one a snug area but it already has double doors on and it isn't a huge wall so won't be a massive job, and then baby can come from Wednesdayπ€£π€£ I'm staying at my mums tonight to avoid a full house full of wet paint fumes and so I'm out the way, also doesn't help that I've woken up feeling like I'm swallowing razor blades and with a banging headacheπ©
