@larrythelizard DD still at nursery until 24th August then a couple of weeks at home. She wouldn't cope with 6 weeks off as she loves it so much so we'll save that for next year 😂 when do you start your mat leave? Oooh maybe a girl then? Looking back I'm now convinced I saw a Willy for Z. Can't believe 5 of you are due within the next 4 weeks!

@minster2012 glad baby club was ok. You do get a mix of people don't you 😂 I'm going to postnatal fitness only and don't plan on any more. They're not all fitness fanatics and have a bit of a joke and the woman who runs it is actually inclusive so it's a bit more ice breaking as you all look like twats rather than the other classes I went to with DD.

Z has arisen from his 20 min power nap so off to sulk about that and MIL visiting today, oh and it's raining 😆

Thanks women for the well wishes re MIL. She wasn't too bad this weekend - no clangers for once, though I was told that she commented on the body of my nephew's girlfriend which understandably pissed his mother off 😬 @bez91 good luck with yours today!
The christening of my friend's baby was lovely, though I don't know why they bothered as the child is an IVF baby and the Catholic Church is against that.

Just popping in for a minute because today is the All Ireland football final which is the biggest day of the year in sport in Ireland. Every county has a senior men's Gaelic football team and mine and DH's home counties are in the final for the first time in our relationship (nearly 14 years). My team are the underdogs. We have tickets and BIL is staying with us cos the game is in Dublin. So exciting and nerve-wracking. Wish me luck 🙏 😅

Why are baby clothes so crap? PTSD definitely getting a bit snug in the 6-9m clothes, so did the big changeover this morning to 9-12m, but all those clothes are massive and hanging off him?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ need another heatwave so he can just hang out in his nappy until he's bulked up enough for the 9-12m clothes...

@Soph0105 how old is he now? I thought he was older cos of the walker?? Totally realise I've been shit and not sent anything. Chalk it to "one of those good intentions" and we'll move on!! Yeah it's the same for sone d clothes isn't it I hate it, you have to work out which brands are generous so they see you through that bit in the middle. B is 3/6 size currently and sone of those small (3 months today) but she still in 0/3 most old Frugi & kite. I'm def down with a £60 wine shop, that's one hell of a weekend!!😂

So was crampy last night, lower stomach and a bit in my back, went to the toilet had light pink when I wiped, wasn't mucus like just like it would be normally, spoke to my midwife friend and she said to call triage because it could be my hind waters, anyway I'd fallen asleep at this point, hadn't lost any more blood over night but had period like cramps again when I woke up, rang triage they said to put a pad on and if I get blood again or the cramps turn into contractions then to ring them up! Also OH's friends mum is a midwife at the hospital and he text her last night to say I'm almost due and to look after me and OH and she asked my name and then said "oh yes she's already on the board" and that made me realise the end is very near!! Still feeling crampy and back ache so going to try and keep active today, need to go food shopping and b&q with OH, so will see how I feel later, can feel a bath and book coming on later

13months TTC, two visits from AF in that time, last one was April.
Had GP appointment on 8th July and was given all the blood test forms for when AF next arrived (day 2-5 and day 21 bloods), tested that morning just in case and was negative.
Had hairdressers and nails done on Wednesday and felt awful all day (had felt awful since Sunday but blamed the heat) so decided to do a test when I got home mid afternoon and it was positive!!
Clear blue weeks was done Thursday morning.

I have my booking appointment on Tuesday because according to LMP I'm already over 12 weeks 😂

@franklydear happy being dpo days! I used to remember my cycles when they could be anything from normal to 190 days between 🙃 your business is kicking off lovely for you, do you attend craft fairs and summer galas ect?
@larrythelizard I feel you there girl I only woke up 3 times last night which is a huge improvement for me! However the nightmares have returned like they did in the first trimester 🫠 glad to hear your placenta has moved woooooo! And everything went well as can be with your little bubs scan, how are you now feeling about a natural birth?
@juno231 so glad your OH is shielding you from the stress of the renovations right now for you, definitely in your best interests! Looking at your nursery inspiration maybe if you put a curtain up in the gap what should be a window could be less breezy 🤣🤣🤣 I’m the exact same with the numb hands / nightmares / toilet runs / emergency rennies at 2 in morning life 🙃 are you guys on track would you say for completion when you expected it or is some of the jobs you have to rectify pushing you back :(?
@somatronic I hope your MIL meeting went better than the last one for you hunny it sounds like it went more smoother for you! I hope you enjoy the match today & Try not to worry about the scales people have more water weight / increased blood volume ect aswell as bubs growing! (I know it’s easier said than done to not focus on the numbers going up)

@DKDK123 I’ve got 3 friends all going through infertility journeys bless them, all kinda at similar stages waiting for diagnosis all 3 have PCOS & just waiting for male factor results then follow up appointments, I hope it’s not a long journey for them 🥺 I remember those 3/4 month between appointments how it felt forever! But your so right it makes me realise how everyone’s journey is welcomed and how there is some truly amazing strong people out there!
@vil10 fingers and toes crossed your strep b swab comes back all clear to give you the green light for your birth plan cause it sounds lovely for you darling 🥹 doesn’t shock me with the waiting times at the moment hunny things are getting tighter again with the nhs running or it seems to be in the trusts around here espesh with the work emails I try and avoid to read but at flip side can’t help being nosey! How exciting isit that your name is already identified to be close to due date, I still stick by that your little one wants to come a tad bit earlier with all those signs it supports it too!

He is ELEVEN weeks old, I repeat ELEVEN weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️

Quick update- I'll do a proper one when I'm over the shock! Baby fairy arrived this morning at 10.50am. It all happened really fast! No time for more than gas and air. No pool birth. 🙈 Waters went at 4.40am ish, came to hospital at 7.15am ish. No one really checked me and so I don't think they acknowledged it was happening! They only told me to come in because I was bleeding so there seemed to be no hurry with the rest of it. By the time they did I was 6cm and by the time I asked for pain relief I was 9cm. And didn't get it.

She is 6lb 13oz and hopefully we can go home by tonight. I'll put a couple of pics on Instagram.

We’ve been painting the nursery today and yesterday- I decided that the walls should be cream and 4 coats later (over purple!) they are! I’m loving doing it. So tired though. We’ve got the in-laws here for tea and then we’re up to Cumbria in the morning to stay with DH’s grandparents for a few days. Feeling very busy, but cannot wait for a few days away.

I feel you @Soph0105 - DS was 12 days late! I got the hang of which brands were smaller and which were bigger so I could move DS into the bigger size of the smaller brands if that makes sense?
