Excellent work on the husband training @Soph0105 - we had to go through a period of adjustment after my last Mat leave as DS was an easy enough baby so I did pretty much everything. Your DH seems to be a quicker learner than mine. Or maybe it's just that mine has regressed badly of late!

Hope the queues aren't too bad @Minster2012 - big local event here this weekend that might screw up all the roads but I don't think we're going far so can avoid it.

Have been doing pregnancy yoga as well @DKDK123 but tonight is my last one as she can't do Weds any more and I can't make the other classes she does! I'm really impressed with how you're making BF work for you, it's less all or nothing than I thought it needed to be.

Poor DD @bez91 - can't help with all this heat if she's poorly.

Was cooler here yesterday too @paintfairy - already warmer today though I think.

Whoop on the double sleep @Minster2012!

Terrible nights sleep here, DS out of bed a couple of times for seemingly no reason, DH with a sore arm which meant he was up and down and eventually relocated to the sofa, and I had mega ligament pain three times which woke me up and it's just so painful to move and adjust position so we're all tired and grumpy this morning, obviously no one as badly as DS...tantrum central...roll on nursery time!

Will try and catch up later but I had a call with the consultant today, which was a hilarious mix of "here's all the ways you might die or have some horrible pregnancy complication because your BMI is so high" followed by "but as long as you continue as you are I don't think you'll have many problems. But because of your weight we'll test you for gestational diabetes".

So, y'know, fun πŸ˜‚ getting more than a bit of a complex with all the antenatal care I'm getting just telling me my BMI is high all the time. What do they want me to do about it?! Especially when I then get emphatically told not to diet, but to eat healthily, like it never occurred to me to eat vegetables πŸ™„

BellatrixK · 13/07/2022 17:41

@bez91 haha! Thankfully no pregnant races! Oh gosh- that sounds scary about DD. I hope that she is feeling better.

@paintfairy oh dear! The HV’s timing wasn’t great, but I’m sure they’ve seen much worse. Especially when they weren’t actually expected. Nice that she’ll be returning though.

@DKDK123 what an amazing visit, must be so satisfying to hear such praise! You are a warrior mama!

@Soph0105 poor DH, being restricted! Imagine! And my sympathies with work… you’d think people would be grateful to have clear instructions. And you’d never try to change things when you are somewhere temporarily. Surely? At least DH is learning quickly!

@becarefuloutthere eeek! Sounds like DD is a night owl. You’re doing so well with breastfeeding though… although it sounds like hard work! Hopefully she’ll find a sleep routine soon.

@Minster2012 I hope that you got to the show okay. You definitely deserve it after the dramas of your day yesterday. At least you got your nails done with no idiots this time.

@larrythelizard oh dear. Hope you all feel better soon. Especially DS to save you from his tantrums!

@InkyPaper it’s totally unacceptable to keep telling you about your BMI. I have had one appointment where mine was mentioned, and healthy eating discussed (as of I didn’t know!) but since then it has been fine. The GTT test is grim- I felt really dizzy and sick after mine. I’m sending lots of sympathy and kindness to you.

It was actually lovely at Sports Day- much cooler and a nice chilled day. I was well looked after my my form. They refused to let me carry anything so I had a camp chair and so my stuff taken up to the top field (which is a loooong trek) by teenage boys. They can be lovely sometimes! I also got a present for the baby from one student I teach!
And no word from the hospital, so assuming I don’t have gestational diabetes, just a large baby! They said they’d call by Monday if the results were positive.

Franklydear · 14/07/2022 06:46

It’s so much cooler today, I woke up without a terrible headache, I felt so ill in the heat, I am dreading next week, normal service will resume, for now, Sunday to Tuesday will be a wash, ds has a sleepover this weekend, for his friend birthday, quickly crocheting a dragonite pokemon for him, so our plan is to sleep and give the house a good clean, I think we are officially middle age, we do have two bottles of my favourite bubbly though

larrythelizard · 14/07/2022 08:49

That's outrageous @InkyPaper - unless you're going to drip feed and tell us you're booked for the next series of my 600lb life?! I really hope you're able to just tune them out and continue to do what you need to do??My MW encouraged me not to look at the scales at my booking in appt and hasn't mentioned weight since. But then I was out with friends last night and another local MW apparently 'guesses' peoples blood pressure so it shows that it's all a bit hit and miss!

Sounds a lovely class @BellatrixK!

I like the heat but struggling a bit with it @Franklydear and not looking forward to the weekend, its looking like mid/high 20s here again today which is OK (not that I'll be out in it much!)

I feel like I'm grinding to a halt, I don't think I felt this crappy at 35w last time, it sort of disappoints me as im so much fitter/healthier than last time - but then I guess im not comparing like for like as I am much more active these days between DS/the gym/meetings friends (hadn't long moved here last time). But heartburn is constant despite the omerzerprole, mega ligament pain, starting to feel breathless as baby has gone from diagonal to straight up and down and I have piles too. Humph!

OP posts:
bez91 · 14/07/2022 09:22

That's brilliant @DKDK123 well done you! They do change their mind depending on which way the wind is blowing πŸ™ˆ same with toddlers and what food they like!

@Soph0105 your DH πŸ˜‚ errrm yes good observation mate! Is DH taking parental leave now you're back at work? Or just having him a few days? My DH is yet to have them both together for any period of time. He's off next Monday and I'm inclined just to say bye and get out for a few hours to give him a wake up call to my stress levels.

@Minster2012 hope it was just rumours and you got there with no delays, looks like you had a great time!

Hope you managed better sleep last night @larrythelizard And the tantrums have subsided for now 🀞🏼 oh no to the piles! Me too, I got them PP - didn't even know that was another shitty thing associated with pregnancy/PP πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

@InkyPaper that's ridiculously, what's the point πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Still waiting more results from DDs wee which took 2 days to get her to do 😭 the dip test showed infection of some sort so hopefully she doesn't need bloods tomorrow πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Z is an absolute Velcro baby this week, won't sleep unless held and when put down will knock out a 10 min sleep then back to square one πŸ‘πŸΌ feeling really guilty I'm unable to spend no 1 on 1 time with DD
Also we're off to the annual family get together this weekend so opted to stay in a hotel. Regretting the decision slightly πŸ˜† but for the time we'll actually be asleep it seems pointless packing up the next to me cot and mattress. So was just thinking of wanging him in the carrycot for the pram overnight, thoughts? Happy to hear if I'm a terrible person πŸ˜‚

Juno231 · 14/07/2022 11:37

@Franklydear I normally love the heat but am dreading the 36 degrees they're forecasting for next week!

@larrythelizard I'm sorry you're feeling rubbish! I would imagine being older than last time and it being a second pregnancy your body would just start feeling more tired quickly so don't beat yourself up - god knows you're one of the fittest ladies on here!

@InkyPaper god they sound like twats. I'd love to see the actual stats behind the stuff they're trying to scare you with. I'm sure your risks have increased from something small to still small lol like 0.05 to 0.1%...

Thanks for all the swollen feet concerns ladies - they're still ginormous sausages but MW is aware as they looked like that at my last appointment and she deemed it to be "mild" oedema lol πŸ˜‚. In the last week my hands have really started to hurt in an arthritic way as well which has been an added bonus.

36 weeks here today! Got my growth scan on Monday, can't wait to see baby (it's been 14 weeks) and get an update on her position and size.

Spoke to mum this morning and asked when she gave birth to me - at 39+4 apparently and it took 8h from start to finish. Fingers crossed I follow in her footsteps somewhat although 8h is perhaps a bit quicker than I'd like πŸ˜…

paintfairy · 14/07/2022 14:18

@bez91 theoretically I wouldn't have another in summer. I don't think a second one will actually be happening. 🀣 Induction date is 24th but I will probably delay it initially.
DDs mystery illness sounds a bit concerning? I hope they manage to work out what's going on?
@DKDK123 I'm glad the HV visit was successful. I think sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves. And it's good she was helpful and not just judgemental.
@Soph0105 🀣 easing yourself back into work. Erm nope!
@becarefuloutthere I think I would look at them gone out if they came dressed bizarrely. She did put a face mask on. That was it.
@Minster2012 show looked good! I've never been but I love a good agricultural type show.
@InkyPaper I can't understand why they keep going on about it either? There's literally nothing you can do about it. But it also can't even be that high or you wouldn't have got ivf funding. So it seems bizarre. They are like broken records with stuff though. I just nod and smile.
@BellatrixK glad sports day went well! And yay for no GD.
@Franklydear I also hate the heat and am dreading next week. I keep hoping it's wrong.
@larrythelizard I'm not sure being fit and healthy has much to do with pregnancy. And I'm surprised you have got this far going to the gym etc. Some days I've been fine and others I randomly can't walk far or whatever. It's not even predictable. But then this far along i guess it's to be expected. I wish my baby would move to up and down!
@Juno231 exciting on the growth scan!

So- much cooler here today. Thank god. A slight break in it is definitely something to be grateful for. Last night was also more bearable for sleeping. However Braxton Hicks decided not. πŸ™ˆπŸ˜« I'm destined not to sleep ever i think. My fitbit interestingly thinks I'm sleeping when I'm not. And this morning it has my awake time as being AFTER we dtd (still sticking to my schedule) which did amuse me somewhat. So you can see how much effort goes in there...... 🀣
I told work I'm not going tomorrow, so I'm doing that by phone. Can't believe it'll be my last day!
Car decided to have the engine management light come on today and go into limp mode. Injector apparently. Hoping it was a crap but of fuel, otherwise I've got a car bill coming......
Also amused by incorrect baby weights. Someone on a July group was told their baby had dropped growth wise and they needed inducing. Came out 9lb 4oz (2lb bigger than they predicted!). Makes you wonder why they bother scanning and doesn't help me with my decision either! But my gut feeling for the moment is to hold off and hope she comes on her own. She is still very active. And still very in the wrong place to leave.......

Somatronic · 14/07/2022 16:38

@paintfairy the fitbit thinking you're asleep when you're DTD is hilarious. Mine would've been the same I'm sure during the days of my letrozole 6am timed sex routine. Nightmare stuff.

Hope you're doing OK in the heat - we're expecting a mini-heatwave this weekend but it should be shortlived.

I'm off now for end of term drinks with the work crowd. It's going to be a wild one. Poor sober me!

2020mission · 14/07/2022 18:30

@paintfairy true about weights being off. I was induced at 39 weeks partly due to polyhdramnios but also they said baby was already 8lbs and I'm tiny. Turns out he was 7lbs 1oz

I really need a proper catch up in mostly scanning just to check if anymore babies have arrived yet πŸ˜… it's crazy it won't be long until we all move to the parenting section as we all have little ones - finally!

Soph0105 · 14/07/2022 18:42

Just a quick check in as H's bubble has burst πŸ˜‚ after 3 relatively drama free days I came home today to an absolutely car crash. PTSD crying on the floor with tomato sauce in his hair, H with a face like a lurgan spade, food all over the floor. Still haven't entirely managed to get the full story, but I think H tried to take him out to the beach, PTSD did a massive shit en route, it rained and then PTSD wouldn't eat his tea... so pretty standard baby day but the novelty has definitely worn off for H! πŸ™ˆ sent PTSD to bed with some belt and braces calpol in case it's teeth related grump 🀞🏻

Right, off to get the wine open!

becarefuloutthere · 14/07/2022 20:01

@Minster2012 well done for being organised! Just found it, good memory on the ep number! Will have a listen tomorrow 🀞
How'd today go?

@Soph0105 haha bless you! Being bk at work is not the one tho, dreading my return 😬 my mgr wants a meeting in a couple weeks, I don't wanna think about it 🫣
Good going on getting Dh in line!

@BellatrixK thank you πŸ™πŸΎ
Sports day sounded lovely, you've got some nice pupils. And yeah you prob don't have it if no contact made.

@Juno231 good luck for Monday!

@paintfairy I'm glad you're not going in. Hope all goes well by phone!
Good choice holding off but having a provisional date in. I moved my induction bk a day.

@Soph0105 lol oh dear πŸ™ˆ enjoy the wine!! 😁

bez91 · 14/07/2022 20:21

@Juno231 wow 15 weeks seems ages. It's really strange as I literally had 12 and 20 week scans with DD then loadssss with Z and I can't imagine now only ever having the 2!

@paintfairy well it should be DH putting in all the effort at this stage πŸ˜‚

@Soph0105 bit sadistic but I like hearing about people DHs downfalls. Makes me feel human πŸ˜† Z refused to nap all day apart from in the car when we were out so I was desperately trying to get him to sleep near dinnertime and DH said "I thought we were going to be more relaxed with DC2, like he'll just fall asleep when he's tired" he's obviously forgot everything about babies! So I said ok, you can do his bedtime. He did bedtime and Z screamed for an hour so yeah he's swallowing humble pie πŸ₯§ πŸ˜‚

Minster2012 · 14/07/2022 20:32

@bez91 we've also had a shit show of napping today so @becarefuloutthere that answers that one! must be something in the air

@Soph0105 that def sounds standard but all DH's need a day like that to realise

Sorry I'm so tired I'm falling asleep already πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

InkyPaper · 14/07/2022 20:52

@BellatrixK @larrythelizard @Juno231 @paintfairy thanks ❀️ it was really getting me down - had an appointment with the midwife today and told her about it, she then completely changed her tune, was very nice, told me that my BMI was 30.3 when I was booked in so I was only just in the category to worry about and how it was completely natural to gain weight...and then rounded it off by saying they just wanted to make sure I was responsible with what I was eating πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ

@BellatrixK aww that's so lovely of the boy to carry your things for you! Glad it was a relatively cool sports day in the end!

@Franklydear hurray for waking up with no headache! I'm hating the heat too - definitely not looking forward to the mini heatwave next week!

@larrythelizard hahaha no drip feeding here! Omg she guesses people's blood pressures?! That doesn't seem ethical πŸ™ˆ I think I'll look away the next time they inevitably weigh me. Sounds like you're being waaaay hard on yourself! I wouldn't compare it to last time - last time you weren't also running round after DS while sorting everything else, so it's no wonder you're running low on energy

@bez91 aww your poor DD, hopefully they can figure out what's wrong and get her on the mend asap. As for using the pram as a bed...I mean babies sleep in them all the time anyway, right? Seems fine to me!

@Juno231 8 hours sounds great to me! My mum was less than 2 hours with me, which definitely seems too fast πŸ˜‚ from what I can gather, none of the women in my family have laboured longer than 14 hours, so I'm hoping I might follow in their path. One of my friends was in labour for days and that just sounds horrific πŸ™ˆ

@paintfairy they really are like broken records, maybe nodding and smiling is the answer! It's good you were able to put your foot down with work, it's so exciting that it's your last day tomorrow! Here's hoping baby shifts around soon though and gets herself in a better position 🀞🏻

@Soph0105 hahaha oh dear! Well, it had to happen at some point πŸ˜‚

larrythelizard · 15/07/2022 15:12

Less grumpy now, I think I'm very very tired which isn't helping anything. Have decided not to go to the gym if it's a team workout as I find those really stressful (thankfully DH has access to the programming so I can plan accordingly).

Hope it was 'just' a UTI for DD @bez91 and that antibiotics are working. I got piles PP with DS and now they're back. Using loads of cream but they just make me feel gross! Enjoy the weekend, hope hotel room is OK!

lol that it's 'mild' odema @Juno231! I think by this time last time I wasn't wearing my rings as I had sausage fingers but no problems on that front this time just yet! 8 hours would be OK, I'd take that!

Haha excellent sex then @paintfairy!! Hope your last day has been OK, well done for making it through!

Does this mean you're now working from home for the summer @Somatronic πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Ba ha ha I can imagine the scene @Soph0105 - good on DH for planning on attempting to take PTSD out for the day though!

I think my BMI was similar at booking @InkyPaper.

Had to go to two different supermarkets to get mine and DS' preferred ice creams today, DH thought that it might be DS who would be most upset if we didn't have 'his' in the freezer but I think I might be able to rival a 3 year old tantrum next week when it's forecast to be 37c here!

OP posts:
paintfairy · 15/07/2022 17:14

@Somatronic my fitbit probably would think I'm asleep during dtd most times to be honest. Pregnant or not. 🀭 I hope your work drinks went OK.
@Soph0105 poor DH. It did make me laugh though! 🀣 They just really don't understand how much we do!
@bez91 hope yours enjoyed his humble pie. 😁
@InkyPaper I'm glad the midwife was better after you said. Its really not good to keep going on about it. How will it help exactly?
@larrythelizard Agree on the ice cream. Should have heard me kicking off the other week because I wanted some.

Last day over! I kind of felt sad I wasn't there in the room with them. I could see them. The sound was appalling though and it was hard work trying to listen. Its really weird to finish. They all went to the pub as well after for lunch. I got to log off early though and hoover. 🀣 Not long ago I had unscheduled sex on DHs request, and we kind of did it properly (I've just been taking the sperm mostly, for baby purposes 🀣) and omg. It was amazing at the time. However I'm dying now with BH pains and walking around cursing, knowing I'll get no sleep tonight. So I'm regretting it already. And whilst I want the baby out before induction, I actually don't really, so I'm now willing it not to come. Certainly not before the hot weather sun-tues either. On the flip side I got a cool present today from my brother for the baby. I'll upload a photo to Instagram when I get a sec.

Vil10 · 15/07/2022 18:27

Hey ladies!! Sorry for the complete radio silence, still had so much going on in the house, getting the nursery finished and packing bags etc! 37+4 today and can't believe baby could come anytime now really, had a few days when I've felt a little crampy, kinda like really light af pains, got my midwife app next Wednesday then another growth scan Friday so hoping baby is still gaining weight and I don't have to be induced🀞🏼 got a decorator and tiler in this weekend then electricians and tiler back next week to finish off so I'm praying I don't go into labour when they're here and especially because of the scorching weather at the beginning of next week!! Decided to finish work today instead of next Thursday purely because of the heat, I struggled last week and my feet were so so swollen so thought it was best, and to be honest I'm glad, I haven't really had any time to just chill and finish my hypnobirthing book because we've been so busy with the house so I'm looking forward to having that time! So happy mat leave to both of us @paintfairy πŸ₯³ got my mat leave meal out tonight for a curry but I wish we weren't going to be honest I'm so so tired, I just want to get in my pyjamas on the sofa😴

I've been so so rubbish at catching up, I've read everything but haven't been on in 2 weeks so it's impossible for me to catch up with everyone but I hope you're all okay and I'm going to check in properly from now with having more timeπŸ˜‚ have a lovely weekend girls❀️

Soph0105 · 15/07/2022 18:59

Happy mat leave @paintfairy and @Vil10 and happy Friday to everyone else! I have had a great week back at work πŸ₯³ and H had a better day today too so no dramas to come home to today... he has already decided that swimming will be too stressful on Monday πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Hope you guys aren't too melty 😬 we're still just right at low 20s but looking at high 20s Monday and Tuesday. That's bad enough for us! Can't imagine what you southern fairies will have to put up with!

bez91 · 15/07/2022 20:19

@larrythelizard yes confirmed as a UTI for DD so got other antibiotics now to wrestle into her πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ I'm just a bit annoyed it's taken 3.5 weeks to get to this conclusion. She's been waking through the night multiple times since Z arrived and the last 4 weeks waking saying she needs a wee and I thought it was her using it as an excuse to get up then not weeing so I have the most horrific mum guilt ever.
It's such another unglam side of pregnancy, as if carrying a baby isn't hard enough and all the rest of the πŸ’© you get with it! Glad you're taking it easier with some workouts

@Vil10 when I was pregnant with DD and we were renovating like you at the same stage, you'd be surprised how quickly they work when there is a pregnant lady about to give birth any day. Every bloke who came into our house couldn't wait to leave for fear of me going into labour without DH there πŸ˜‚ enjoy your maternity leave meal and definitely the right call to finish early with the heat, literally just sit still in front of a fan all day!

@Soph0105 I'm a northern fairy as far as England goes but still 38ish here πŸ₯΅
perhaps they'll be many holidaying up there for a few days!

@paintfairy yayyy to your mat leave too. Hope you get a few days to enjoy it although in this heat probably not. Super impressed on your DTD efforts!

Need to pack tonight for garden party tomorrow and overnight stay. Babies need so much shit 😩

Minster2012 · 15/07/2022 22:26

Whoop whoop it's mat leave time @Vil10 @paintfairy πŸŽ‰πŸ₯°now you can LEGIT do nothing or whatever you want!! So we had the plumber round again yesterday morning after water pressure been awful since showers were "fixed" & it was 8am & after the Yorkshire show so DH here about to go for a run with dogs & plumber walked upto our side door & knocked whilst I had finished feeding B & was lying (fully dressed) on the sofa with her watching love island in the kitchen...we were having a joke & when he'd finished he said "I'll leave you to your work again now...was it love island?" I replied "I think you'll find it's keeping a small human alive whilst maintaining my sanity it's called mat leave mate least I was fully dressed!" He laughed but it's true! It's very important work

@bez91 you did all you could for DD there's no need for mum guilt (I realise that will make no difference but hey it's true)hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon

@larrythelizard loving the idea of you having a tantrum if there's none of your preferred ice creams in...that reminds me we are low on ice creams /lollies πŸ™„πŸ˜¬

@InkyPaper im really annoyed for you. Like piss off with your bmi lectures. Every one of the midwives in the team I was under was def over the bmi "healthy" range so I'd find it hard to stomach if they started to lecturing. Btw do you think you have any inkling on what you are having? I was thinking this the other day, I think @Vil10 is girl, @larrythelizard girl & you boy!

@Somatronic how you feeling? Btw now more ppl know you are pregnant has the person who commented you had cankles said anything??? Weirdly I thought of you today when at the hairdressers as I think she's pregnant but I'd never say anything, cos you know, I'm a decent human being πŸ˜‚

@Juno231 god yeah that's a long time, I'm pleased they are looking after you and your elephant feet. Yeah 8 hours that's good! Or less (like mine!) I need your new address please btw

@paintfairy you make me laugh so much, can't believe you are on a DTD schedule again!! Like TTC all over again but for opposing purposes! It can be very enjoyable but maybe she doesn't like it πŸ€”

Anyone else seen how adorable @Lexber's twins are?! I know you've not got much time to check in her that's fine just wanna say I've not started ANY classes yet, I'm in awe of you. (We have done other stuff though)

So been a bit quiet here had a manic couple of days. Yorkshire show was great, warm but not too hot though B found it & being in the pram the best combo got just sleeping ALL morning πŸ˜‚literally like "oooooo I just can't keep my eyes open" and then a shot show of napping yesterday /picking X up where in the car I said "Xander TAKE YOUR HAND OUT OF HER MOUTH" as I did an extended drive to another town to get some more sleeping in...so I paid for that last night being up from 2.40 to 4.15 in a VERY exclusive house party πŸŽ‰

Went to the hairdressers finally today πŸŽ‰so feel a bit more human...ticked off sone jobs whilst there. Pretty sure the (v young) hairdresser was early pregnant but you know I'm not like @Somatronic's colleagues so wouldn't dare say anything. She was 22 today?! Jesus that made me feel old πŸ˜‚

I'm really excited for more OG bus babies soon!! πŸ₯°πŸ€—

I've got a really social weekend here & cba. There's a "puppet festival" tomorrow in our local town so I'm taking the kids to that & meeting his mates from preschool, can't think of anything better than being shut in a "whale" for an "intimate performance" on a hot day with a nearly 4 yr old & a baby at nearly nap time??? it just happens to be on the sand day as a local beer festival πŸ™„so DH there then another friend's birthday in the evening where I'm driving (no kids) then more mates over from Manchester on Sunday 😫I really love them but honestly I just want to chill πŸ˜¬πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

@whatwonder you still surviving?

Sorry still struggling to keep up here lately but pretty sure @InkyPaper knows it's a boy already @Minster2012 I remember reading some family didn't react well as there's boys in the family already and so they were hoping for a girl which is a shame as who cares what the sex is! I'll guess at least one of @Vil10 or @larrythelizard are having a boy too, just to balance things out πŸ˜… happy maternity leave ladies

@Soph0105 Thankyou!! Glad you've had a great week back and it wasn't too daunting!! Whereabouts in the north are you?? I'm north too and think Tuesday it's 33πŸ₯΅

@bez91 hahahaha I didn't even think of it like that!! It's actually had it perks already, OH informed me last night that instead of the tiler coming this weekend and then next, he's now coming today, tomorrow and Monday, he said "I want to get the work done for you before she pops", so that's very kind of him!! However my OH has helped a lot, he's dismantled the downstairs toilet and sink, moved out the washing machine and dryer from utility, taken off all the plinths in the kitchen and took up all the old floor tiles to make it easier for the tiler so hopefully that'll speed the job up🀞🏼 the plan is to definitely sit in front of a fan with my feet in the dogs paddling pool! You aren't to know what your DD has, you did what you could!! But hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon and she'll be back to her normal self!!

@Minster2012 hahaha love that!! I always feel when workmen etc come round I have to be at least presentable and out of pyjamas but when I'm on mat leave I refuse, it's my time to chill from growing a human! However the other day I came home from a long day of being really constipated and had awful trapped wind and just needed to go to the toilet, but the plasterers were in and were up and down through every room in the house so I just couldn't go peacefully so I had to wait😬 yess I'm pretty sure @InkyPaper already knows she's having a boy! So many people have said to me they think I'm having a girl, I keep getting little feelings it's a girl too, but I'm like 70% thinking it's a girl 30% boy, but happy and healthy is all we're bothered about and I can't wait to see who they are!! We do have a girls name we're set on but still floating a few boys names around so if he's a boy he maybe nameless for a whileπŸ˜‚ that is a sociable weekend, you're like super mum doing all this stuff, but also you do need to chill too, I hope next weekend is a chilling weekend for you?? Still love seeing all your pics on insta!!

@2020mission hahaha we do need some more boys don't we to even it out!!
