Hi all! Had a BFP yesterday at 11dpo after a squinter at 9dpo so thought I'd start this thread for everyone just getting bfps around now and due later in Feb/ early March!

I'm hopeful but a bit nervous after two chemicals this year. Hoping this bean sticks! Feeling positive about it so far... This will be our second baby, have a 21mo DD already 🥰

All welcome!

@Lilipa as far as I read, period cramps are normal. So I wouldn't worry.

Thank you as well for the good wishes, but just had a chat with my doctor and based on everything we know, the pregnancy doesn't appear to be progressing. I think I just neet tocome to terms with it.

Wish you best of luck with your pregnancy.

So sorry to hear this. I will thinking of you.

Hope15022023 · 28/06/2022 10:39

@Lilipa , @Hagster , thank you for being so supportive. I will have an US Thursday and probably then get the diagnosis and recommendations from my doctor. Yesterday evening I was pretty shook up, but today I am convinced I will try right away after it will be allowed. Thanks again and wish for all your pregnancies to go by the book.

Bella9992 · 28/06/2022 10:58

So sorry to hear @Hope15022023, hope you get some answers on Thursday x

SJ1994 · 28/06/2022 11:20

@Skylark1990 thank you! I was actually really surprised at how strong the lines were, I’m going to do a clear blue digital at the end of the week anyway as I’m feeling a bit anxious but guess that’s probably normal 😂

FastFish1993 · 28/06/2022 12:24

Hi, hope everyone's doing okay. I'm so sorry to the ladies who had bad news this week ❤️

I wanted to ask if anyone else has no symptoms at all? I literally feel no different to before! I'm not complaining... But it's really odd and I'm wondering if there's anything going on!! I'm 6 weeks today so maybe just too early.

I had this last time and the sickness hit at 6+6 with a vengeance

FastFish1993 · 28/06/2022 13:58

Thank you @TeddyBeans - sounds like I might be kicking myself next week for saying that then 😂🤐

TeddyBeans · 28/06/2022 14:09

@FastFish1993 you might just be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get any early symptoms! I haven't had anything major yet (4+6) - only a bit of heartburn and some fatigue. Very aware it can hit out of nowhere though!

Thetractorjustmoved · 28/06/2022 14:13

I'm still symptomless at 5+ something, but last time only kicked in about 7 weeks I think. It's disconcerting though!

TeddyBeans · 28/06/2022 15:45

Just had a call from the maternity centre at the local hospital. I'm being given a prescription for high strength folic acid and aspirin because I'm fat and had preeclampsia last time 🥳 pregnancy drug party at my house

Skylark1990 · 28/06/2022 17:11

Hi everyone. I'm so sorry to hear your news @Hope15022023 . Best of luck to you and that your next pregnancy progresses well. I've had two early losses so understand the mix of emotions, it's really hard - look after yourself.
@SJ1994 very normal to be anxious! Defo do a digital maybe with weeks! Although they can be off so don't put too much store into them. As time passed it'll feel more relaxed I'm sure 🙂
@FastFish1993 I am 6+1 also not having many symptoms although have started to potentially have a bit of fleeting nausea, although I also have covid right now so it's hard to know what's what! With DD the nausea hit around 7 weeks and got super bad around 8/9 weeks so we have a while to go yet... Like others said you may not even get nausea and be one of the lucky ones! Also I think sometimes symptoms can be quite subtle and we don't necessarily notice them e.g. a little more wind than usual, slightly more sore boobs, a tad more emotional and tired etc. But even if you have none of this it's still early days so I'm sure it'll come and you Def shouldn't worry 😊

@TeddyBeans enjoy your supplements haha 😉😂❤️

Hello everyone I have been tentatively following this thread for a while now, but hadn't plucked up the courage to join after previous chemicals. But this morning I did a frer after a weeks gap and got a nice dye stealer. I think I'm 18dpo today, which means my period is a week late. Due at the beginning of March if all goes well...

Due Late Feb / Early March 2023 💖💙💐🌈
LaffLong · 28/06/2022 20:10

Following this thread, I had a positive test this morning! Still a bit in shock, I think I am somewhere between 4-5weeks 🥰🤞currently reading everything I can get my hands on as this will be our first baby!

Lilipa · 29/06/2022 16:19

As expected, I'm starting to worry. Estimating I'm 4 weeks 5 days but don't know because I didn't track ovulation this month and my cycles are very unstable. I had 4 miscarriages previously at about 6-7 weeks so I'm now starting to feel the worrying feeling.
I have an early scan booked at 6 weeks 3 days on the 11th of July but that feels so far away!

How is everyone feeling?

Anyone has had a scan yet and would like to share their news? Anyone planning to have a scan soon?

Hope15022023 · 29/06/2022 17:06

@Lilipa , are you worried because of past experiences or is anything bothering you? I totally get your stress, but you just need to find a way to continue with your normal life, as it's such a long road and it's not under your control.

Fingers crossed for this pregnancy to be the lucky one.

Lilipa · 29/06/2022 17:13

@Hope15022023 because of my past experiences. At the moment, when I think deep about this pregnancy I feel it'll all go well. What are the chances of another miscarriage when both me and my husband are healthy? We even went to Professor Regan who did so many tests and said there's nothing wrong and we'll have a second baby. I'm thinking this is the time for our second baby, now. But then when I have period cramps I get worried that it all starts again.

Nikkixx · 29/06/2022 17:53

Hey everyone just touching in how are you? I'm getting along ok! Symptoms all over the place 6 weeks today, having bloating, bouts of nausea made better by eating usually! Having mild cramps every now and again and oh soooo tired! I'm neglecting DP I constantly fall asleep on him!! Haha

Hope15022023 · 29/06/2022 18:03

@Lilipa , I know it must be tough after four miscarriages. I am assuming I will have tomorrow my first one (hopefully everything will go well from now on) and I feel already terrified. But you have something very important (I don't have), a baby of your own. And that's a huge joy and proof that you can make people. :) so keep positive.

Bella9992 · 29/06/2022 18:34

My symptoms aren't as strong as my last pregnancy with DD. A bit of nausea first thing but nothing too bad, no sore boobs but I'm soooo bloated! Booked a scan for 15 days time when I'll be 8.5 weeks, counting down the days 😬

Nikkixx · 29/06/2022 18:36

I've got a early scan on the 7th hoping all is well my 1st pregnancy was a miscarriage so I am praying all is well this time!

Twosidestwoplayers · 29/06/2022 19:03

@Hope15022023 so sorry to hear your news. Hoping you are able to resolve everything quickly so you can process and move on when you’re ready.

@TeddyBeans im on the super strength folic acid too! Had some left over from last time so started with them straight away.

@Lilipa totally understand the worry, it’s not easy is it. You’re right though, the odds are in your favour and we have to try to think positively. Not long until your scan at all and hopefully it will put your mind at ease.

@Nikkixx hear you on the tiredness, it’s so overwhelming! I’m completely exhausted all the time! Good luck for your scan!

@Bella9992 I’m also so bloated, I had this last time as well but it eased off after a few weeks. I remember being worried I’d have to be in my maternity clothes straight away as jeans were so uncomfortable but it really settled down.

TeddyBeans · 29/06/2022 20:15

DP said to me this evening 'you're looking a bit more round babe' cheeky bugger! He's going to get a shock when I start invading his side of the bed 😂

I took my BP this evening just out of curiosity - 105/70 - slap bang in the middle of the ideal range! It's the little wins

Nikkixx · 30/06/2022 08:56

Food is no longer extinguishing my nausea 🥹🥹

Boadiccea · 30/06/2022 12:45

Looking forward to updates from those of you going for scans. Fingers crossed all looks good and healthy!!

I am feeling constantly slightly nauseous and never satisfied so am constantly grazing. The weight is piling on super quickly and my stomach is so round and solid I can no longer sit in my jeans!!!! What is going on?! I don't remember any of this happening so soon!

I'm going to book an early private (Groupon special 😂) scan for a few weeks time before our scheduled holiday to have a peek and reassurance. I'm quite anxious about our holiday now, I'm not normally a swimwear fan but was feeling okay after losing lots of weight. Now am very conscious of my stomach looking protruding and will be with my in-laws too 😳I don't tend to tell anyone until we're close to the 20 week mark but not sure I'll be able to hid it that long this time.

I know a Facebook group was mentioned. What are your thoughts? I can only access this from my comp as always forget my password lol and harder to keep track of threads.

Anyone have any cravings yet? Or total no go's? I can't stand water! It tastes gross and normally is my only source of fluids with my coffee. Neither are working so I'm stuck ☕

botleybump · 30/06/2022 13:46

@Boadiccea how funny! I can't stand water either! I've been living on squash which is usually a no go for me!

No cravings yet - I was relatively symptom free until this morning (5+4) when then nausea hit hard after breakfast until around midday.
