Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

@BeeYellowMumma last time I knew from around 16 weeks and his father didn't find out at all because he didn't want to know; I managed to keep it secret and talk about "the baby" not him or her.

That is incredible self awareness I would have definitely slipped up!!

welcome @Nyxxie i know what you mean about testing. My last was at 20dpo then I had to knock it on the head and try to trust my body to do it’s thing. That won’t be everyone’s approach but still.

I had to nap when my toddler napped yesterday! Feel so exhausted. I already feel the same and I’m not even out of bed yet 😭

I keep worrying that a baby crying will wake DD in the night then I’ll have to deal with two crying people at the same time πŸ˜† do toddlers just sleep deeper? Am I worrying about nothing? Hormones have a lot to answer for πŸ˜†

My daughter doesn't nap, has always been a terrible sleeper but the last 3 weeks has actually been much better. But we have never had a full night's sleep since she was born.

I wonder the same, will a new one just mean waking her up, but when she is asleep she is literally dead to the world, so hopefully not??

I'm going on a week long work trip as well, fly tomorrow, and never been away from her this long, so nervous about that alongside the early pregnancy yuckiness, but hopefully at least sleep better soon.

So much running in my mind 😫

My husband and I knew, but never told anyone and at the baby shower revealed it in a cake my sister made (so she did know), we kept saying baby too, so much that when baby was born we still kept calling her baby for ages and not her actual name πŸ˜…

Only reason that happened as we told our parents about the pregnancy and my mum blabbered to her work colleagues who knew me and then were texting congratulations to me and I could have killed her as wasn't 12 weeks. So decided she and everyone else would have to wait until last minute πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

@Peonies94 Hi! Can I join? Due 7th/8th Feb and so excited! Interesting how many people find out the sex of their babies nowadays. We honestly couldn’t care less so won’t bother πŸ˜„ Also we don’t want EVERYTHING to be pink or blue, and we just know family will go overboard with the gendered clothes/toys, gearing it up to learn how to be a mother/footballer before it’s even born (they’re verrrry traditional!)

Congratulations!

it’s not that we care what sex we are having, it’s more to help us narrow names down as we take ages to decide and can’t agree on many.

i really hope the trip away goes well, it’s quite a wrench!!

I also napped yesterday with toddler πŸ˜… I didn't even intend to. I lay down at 2 with him and suddenly it was half 3πŸ˜‚

Also been worrying about the night time with two. Our toddler has bat ears and wakes at everything. Ever since he was tiny. It'll be a nightmare if the second baby cries in the night (for some reason DS never cried in the night).

EBx · 03/06/2022 09:41

Anyone have any weird cravings yet? I’ve for some reason got through a massive bag of raisins this week.. never eat those usually πŸ˜‚

allthingssparkly · 03/06/2022 09:55

Congratulations @sunflower25049 😍
How many dpo are you?

I took a FRER yesterday afternoon but it was negative, unsure of exactly how many dpo I am as I didn't opk or bbt but I'm due on today and no sign of my period 😬 CD30 today.

I'd be due around a similar time to you in Feb if pregnant, still trying to hold onto some hope.

Nyxxie · 03/06/2022 09:58

@YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch I know what you mean, you do it for reassurance and end up more worried! I think those clear blue ones count from conception though don't they? So 3 weeks = 5 weeks, in which case not too far out.

@Cherrymarket I had a First response test in my drawer which I've just done this morning to get rid of it and now I'm done! It was a dye stealer - could barely see the control line - so I'm quite happy now. Had been using the cheapies which I think are as dark as they're going to get.

sunflower25049 · 03/06/2022 10:08

@allthingssparkly Thank you ❀️❀️ I had a negative FRER on Tuesday morning and then positive CB last night and positive FRER this morning. Flo app says 13 DPO but I think I might be closer to 10. CD 27 today with AF due on Sunday so hoping bean sticks 🀞🀞🀞

Keeping my fingers crossed for you too xxx

allthingssparkly · 03/06/2022 10:17

Ahh thank you, hope everything goes well for you 🀍 I'm going to test again on Monday if there's no sign of AF this weekend 🀞 x

Onebabyandamadcat · 03/06/2022 10:50

Another obsessive tester here - the lines are really dark yet i still can't help double checking! Fatigue is setting in already and queasiness. Couldn't stomach my coffee this morning, which isn't helping with the fatigue πŸ˜‚. I'm 4+3 today and thought it was way too early of symptoms so not sure if I'm somehow creating them in my head. Need to call EPU to arrange an early scan cause of previous losses but feel like calling them is jinxing it πŸ™„

nestinginnl · 03/06/2022 11:56

@Onebabyandamadcat I tested positive before my missed period and only took the test because I'd been nauseous all evening - it's nonsense that symptoms don't usually set in till later!

Might also be nerves too though? I don't have the insomnia this time I had last time but I also feel much calmer about things. Or maybe I'm just tired from running round after a baby and dogs all day πŸ˜‚

RBSK1 · 03/06/2022 15:08

Just had my BFP today. Worked out im due 9th Feb ❀️

allthingssparkly · 03/06/2022 15:20

Congratulations @RBSK1 😍

Muddydogwalks · 03/06/2022 17:09

Got my bfp today and due 5th feb! Excited but scared πŸ˜‚

allthingssparkly · 03/06/2022 17:36

Congratulations @Muddydogwalks I remember seeing your post earlier about the best pregnancy tests to get! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Peonies94 · 03/06/2022 18:02

Congratulations to all those who have joined and just gotten bfp! Lots of people in here now to support each other!

seems like lots of us are having early scans too! 3 weeks until my scan! So nervous! seems like a lifetime away!! When is everyone else’s first scan? Whether that means you’ve booked an early scan, or have already had the date for your 12 week scan? What about booking in appointments, anyone had dates for that yet?

so my booking in appointment is the 8th, so less than a week to wait! My private scan is then on the 23rd and I’ll be 8 weeks then! 🀞

BanjoVio · 03/06/2022 18:07

Got my first appointment with the midwife on Tuesday (SO EXCITED!!!) and got a date for the 12 week scan but I’ll be on honeymoon. I hope they do it before I go away rather than after 😫

Girl2020 · 03/06/2022 18:09

hello everyone, I am 4 weeks pregnant and due 16th feb. So many emotions. Currently feeling good just a bit tired and peeing a lot and cramps but that’s it. Hopefully stays this way hahaha wishful thinking. How is everyone else? Xx

RBSK1 · 03/06/2022 18:09

Thanks everyone!

We're looking at booking a private scan for 8 weeks so should be another 4 weeks for us

It's weird how AF was due yesterday for me, making me 4+1 yet my digital said 2-3 weeks, could have ovulated early or DH is bricking it incase it's twins πŸ˜‚
