Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

Interesting question for you all...
Do you 'feel' pregnant? And if so, how would you explain it the feeling?

Nope, I just feel lightheaded, sick, hungry and worried about fitting into my wedding dress next month πŸ˜‚

TheEmeraldRoom · 09/06/2022 22:28

Nope, I'm just starving, I want crisps all day

MamaSJ15 · 09/06/2022 22:29

@BanjoVio πŸ˜‚ how far along will you be when you need to fit into it?

Summerbreeze111 · 09/06/2022 22:42

Is there a facebook/WhatsApp group? If so please can someone PM me the details?

Assuming the fb is private so family and friends wouldn't be able to see me join? πŸ™ˆπŸ™Š

I am only 4+2 so very early days but I still feel like im about to come on my period, I still can't quite believe it!

Lilly771 · 10/06/2022 04:36

Hi all, I'm wide awake again at 4amπŸ™ˆ I found out I was pregnant a few days ago, it's a shock as unplanned and I have health issues so it's a bit overwhelming. I found I have anxiety and insomnia at nigh which I never had before. Has any else experienced this? Some nights are worse than others. I'm about 5 weeks along and no nothing about pregnancy or babies πŸ™ˆ

BanjoVio · 10/06/2022 05:47

MamaSJ15 · 09/06/2022 22:29

@BanjoVio πŸ˜‚ how far along will you be when you need to fit into it?

10+4 so my main worry is bloating (and being hideously unwell!) The seamstress has moved my last fitting much closer to the date instead of a month before, phew. Not too worried about not drinking at the wedding but the hen party will be harder to get away with πŸ˜‚

MamaSJ15 · 10/06/2022 06:48

@BanjoVio will you have told people by then? With my first I didn't show very early (is this your first?) But I'm expecting to show earlier with no2! πŸ™ˆ I never think about the drinking side of things because everyone knows I don't drink anyway πŸ˜‚

MamaSJ15 · 10/06/2022 06:50

@Summerbreeze111 I hope it sinks in for you soon! It can be quite overwhelming πŸ˜‚

@Lilly771 I think anxiety can be common, especially early on! It can sometimes help to share the news with someone but that's your choice of course, you may not want to tell anyone yet!

RootsHere · 10/06/2022 07:30

Had my booking appointment yesterday (was 6+2), so if anyone is pregnant with their first, here’s what was covered:
-Lots of questions about myself and partner, family medical history, phone numbers, addresses, ethnicities etc.
-Know your first day of last period.
-Preference for which hospital I wish to give birth at (we have two to choose from).
-If applicable, previous pregnancies, miscarriages, how did the birth go, how was the baby when born, how did I feed her etc.
-Mental health, physical health, they weighed me, checked my blood pressure and carbon monoxide levels.
-Urine sample and bloods taken.
It all took about an hour, and I should get my 12 week scan confirmation in the post in the next two weeks.

Go in well hydrated and prepare for lots of admin 😊

mumone88 · 10/06/2022 07:52

Morning all, can I join? Shockingly I got my BFP on Wednesday (it was our first month TTC baby#2!) I have long cycles and it's super early but I should be due 18th Feb according to the NHS.

I'm 33 and have one daughter who was born late November 2020, so she'll be 26 months when baby is born.

Hoping for a more normal pregnancy this time as last time I was 5 weeks pregnant when we went into the first lockdown!

RootsHere · 10/06/2022 08:11

@mumone88 welcome and congratulations! I’ve also got a November 2020 baby, and also hoping for a more social pregnancy. Will be nice to see people, right?!

maggiebun · 10/06/2022 08:30

@MamaSJ15 if i didnt have cramps the majority of the day (with no period) i wouldnt have a clue. Im tired but thats no change. Everybody else will know though as a big part of my life is going the pub and drinking, i go normally 4 times a week so god knows how im going to hide it. Dreading the invites this weekend. I also drink everynight, which has been a real struggle this week not to have that bottle after work.
Im sure you wont be able to tell in your wedding dress, and at least you can tell your baby that they were part of your wedding day

Bella9992 · 10/06/2022 09:31

Got my BFP this morning, very faint at 12DPO so really hoping it progresses. Therefore anxiously hoping to join this grouo 🀞. EDD will be around 22 Feb. This is my second and I have a DD who is nearly 2.
Feeling very nauseous every morning at the moment but no other symptoms. With my previous two pregnancies (1MC prior to DD) my sore boobs were my first symptom but nothing in that area so far this time.

crazy4cats · 10/06/2022 10:15

@RootsHere thank you, that's very helpful 😊

@MamaSJ15 not not at all! I don't have morning sickness or any of the classic symptoms. I'm a bit bloated but I've been snacking a lot recently so I would expect that anyway. Also not feeling quite as strong (I'm a pull up queen haha) and feel tired but as I always feel tired anyway it's hard to say if it feels worse or not!

Drf · 10/06/2022 11:28

Hey guys! Looks like I'm joining the February 2023 baby club, everything being well 🀞🀩πŸ₯° had my bfp a couple of days ago, first pregnancy, and according to the NHS calculator I'll be due on the 22nd February!
This is the most mervewracking experience ever, I always said I wouldn't class myself as pregnant until 8+ weeks, but that goes flying out the window as soon as you see that BFP!😍

Catred4 · 10/06/2022 11:51

@mumone88 @RootsHere

Totally agree about having a more social pregnancy! I've got an October 2020 baby and I really want to do all things I couldn't do last time, this time! Although it's all a bit harder with a toddler running around πŸ˜‚

MamaSJ15 · 10/06/2022 12:04

Hiya all, I had my scan this morning and they couldn't find anything so they did another test for me and it was negative so their guess is the 'period' I had was actually a miscarriage. So I'm gonna have to leave you all.
Good luck to you all and I wish you all healthy 9 months 😘😘

Ohrwurm · 10/06/2022 12:14

So sorry to hear that @MamaSJ15 ☹️

Ohhhhhshitttt · 10/06/2022 13:45

So sorry @MamaSJ15 sending love ❀

Cherrymarket · 10/06/2022 13:52

So sorry @MamaSJ15 😒 take care of yourself

@Catred4 i also have an October 2020 baby and looking forward to a normal pregnancy! Can’t believe people will actually see a bump this time. I’m signing myself up for aqua natal classes which I really wanted to do last time but couldn’t.

also looking forward to it being winter with a big bump not in the height of summer πŸ₯΅

I am nearly 7 weeks now and have nausea and extreme fatigue (just woke up from a nap actually 🀣) but not much else.
thinking I might have to tell work if it gets much worse!

Maple90 · 10/06/2022 14:15

I’m really sorry! hope you’re okay & looking after yourself x

Skylark1990 · 10/06/2022 14:37

Hey all! Tentatively hoping I can join after a BFP at 11dpo today πŸ₯°β˜ΊοΈ I've had two early losses this year so I'm really hoping this bean sticks! My line is quite solid today and I've been having nipple tenderness (especially when I feed DD who I am still breastfeeding!), Bit of nausea and some cramping since 6dpo. All very mild but hopefully good signs. I tested on Wednesday too at 9dpo and had a very faint line so happy with the line progression so far 🀞🀞 baby will be due about 21 Feb.
Pic of the test from today for luck!

Any others also due around 20th Feb?

Due February 2023 β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’–
Skylark1990 · 10/06/2022 14:39

@Bella9992 and @Drf just saw you will be due around same time as me! Hope you're both feeling ok, these early days can be stressful! X
