Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

I almost told my manager today - I take the brunt of the workload and without wanting to sound arrogant I'm not easily replaced, I want them to have enough time to find a replacement and give me a few months to train them. I also want my potential promotion to move along a bit too, if I tell them now and then don't get it I will always wonder!

I chickened out in the end because I am only 4+5... I might wait until 8 weeks so not much longer. I think I will wait until the end of the month

It's funny because I came off the pill in December because work had gone really stagnant for me so seemed like a good time to TTC, but then of course the last month it feels like it has opened out a bit. I have some days where I'm like 'I can't wait to be on maternity leave, see how they manage then!' then other days where I'm really enjoying it and feel guilty!

After worrying about not having strong symptoms the last few days, I have sore boobs for the first time today and after my pizza (only 3/4 of it), I felt again like I'd had a four course meal, so I'm hoping these are good signs🤞🏼

@PeachCottonTree teacher here too and I have no intention of telling anyone before 12w scan (which will fall in the summer holidays) nor any intention to log-on and do any work in the holidays either - so they'll have to wait until September.

(I don't work in the same place as when I was pregnant with DC1 - in addition to passing me over for permanent contract they breached my existing contract and had to pay me for it, amongst many, many other issues)!

@Peonies94 waves of nausea here too, plus 'tugging' type of cramps, ravenous and exhausted (although the toddler is testing boundaries a lot atm and is constantly on the go so that also just adds to the exhaustion) 🥱

And I've gone off tea!!! My pregnant-self can barely finish half a cup and usually I drink tea like it's going out of fashion!! 😱

I feel very similar to all of you, very tired and very nauseous. Already having food aversions as well and certain smells are making me feel so sick!
I May have to call in sick it work tomorrow cause the only position I don’t feel sick in is lying down, which isn’t ideal in my job that I can’t do from home.

Hope everyone is getting on ok! I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and so far only told my parents and my manager at work but I think most people will just guess I’m pregnant anyway unfortunately just mainly due to my symptoms.

Just out of interest. How many children do you all have already, if any? And how old? Or will this be first baby?
I have little girl who's just turned 3 😊

@MamaSJ15 aww how exciting! Good luck! I kept testing with digital I did one a week until I got 3+ And then stopped! Glad your not feeling too bad! I’ve just woken feeling sorry for myself, nause definitely worse and cramps continuing to wake me and very intense!

@Jessiecat91 i hsve the same feeling, I’m wondering how long I’ll last before I’ll struggle with work! The not sleeping isn’t helping! Waking ip curled over in agony with cramps, along with waves of sickness too!

I have a boy who will be just turned 5 when this one arrives.
He doesn't know yet but he keeps telling me he wants a brother and a sister.

Anyone else finding that their "gassier" than usual?!

I can't stop burping and I've got horrendous trapped wind the other end?! (Think it's explaining the cramps!)

I don't remember being this gassy until much later on last time around?

I am as well and I look pregnant as a result. Not ideal for warmer weather where I can’t cover up as much.
this did happen last time though so I’m hoping the bloat goes in a couple of weeks…🤞

nausea and tiredness seems to have eased this week although I still have to snack regularly to keep the nausea away. It is MUCH easier this time, which in the back of my mind makes me worry.

I have an early scan today, just to check the location and things as I’ve been unwell! So nervous! I don’t think they’ll see much but hopefully the location will be confirmed 🤞

@Peonies94 how far along are you now if you've already had the 3+ on a digital? I'd assume I should be getting it too by now which worries me. I did another FRER this morning, the others I'd done were later in the day but this morning's still looks about the same, I'd expect it darker by now. It is concerning me a bit to be honest. so good to hear you have a scan today, please let us know how it goes 😊 I'll attach the photo of my 3 FRER here, bottom is today's, please let me know what you think.

@RBSK1 my first pregnancy I had really bad trapped wind, I've had a bit of bloating so far but nothing too bad. If you're struggling, Rennie deflatine are safe during pregnancy, it's what I used last time and have stocked up ready 👍

How many dpo are you?
some people never get a 3+ apparently!

@Cherrymarket I have absolutely no idea, I wasn't tracking, just know when AF was due, it appeared bang on time too so I didn't even test till over a week later. I've had what seemed to be a period bleed (but slightly different and no period cramps), then a couple of days of pink spotting, couple of days of nothing then the day I tested I got horrible cramps overnight and into the next day and started with pink spotting/small bleeding which has carried on but it's nothing major. Cramps settled down and I just get the odd twinge now. I've just been worried because my first pregnancy I didn't have any of this, it didn't feel as complicated!
I didn't know some people don't get the 3+ how odd! Based on my last 'proper' period, I should be 5+6 today. But CB digital went up from 1-2 to 2-3 and the FRER look pretty similar so I'm thinking that's a good sign because when I had a chemical last year the tests went negative pretty quickly.

I just had my scan! I’ve been dated exactly 6 weeks! They told me I had a cyst in the exact place I think we feeling pain, and that was likely causing the pain/dizziness! Baby in the right location and the start of a heartbeat flicker ❤️!

Hello everyone got my 3+ on a digital test today! I'm 5+4 from my last period but I have a long cycle so I could be 5 weeks today? (it confuses me🤣) I had a 2-3 digital test last Thursday so after a tiny bit of pink spotting I feel relieved that's it's gone up! I work in Ultrasound so it's so tempting to have a little look but after a blighted ovum last year I'm also terrified to see! I hope everyone is feeling okay❤️x

I think I'm a day behind you, I'm guessing at 5+6 today but hopefully my scan will tell me more on Friday 😊

@Cherrymarket yeah possibly! So confusing, but I'm gonna do my last CB digital tomorrow morning I think and hope it's either the same or gone up 🤞
