Anyone due February? I know it’s super early but I’ve had my BFP at what I think is 8DPO so it looks like I’ll be due the first few days of February!

@Peonies94 Congrats! That’s so exciting!!

I had a very busy day at work yesterday and feeling absolutely wiped today! Like all symptoms times 2! My manager knows now which is helpful, but still feeling the guilt of not being able to deliver my usual at work!

Peonies94 · 08/06/2022 12:59

@MamaSJ15 basically I’ll be having extra appointments maybe if it becomes an issue, but just to keep an eye and it may disappear but could get bigger so they said its quite common but depending on the size and position depends how much pain/trouble it causes! Mines not in a great place! Hopefully won’t cause any issues though!

Morning all
Firstly congratulations all of you. I am tentatively excited to join the group! I've been hovering between this group and January, as I'm very sure I ovulated late (was away when I should have technically ovulated). So I'm not sure of dates. My cycles vary from 26-31 days so who knows!

I had an EPS this morning and they dated me at 6 weeks even though I'm 6+6 on paper, so that kind of makes sense. I also did lots of those horrible week dated preggo tests that seemed a week out.

I'm an old mum (43), or geriatric as they like to call us medically. I have one 5 year old son and 2 step kids. I had a MMC last October so have been hyper on edge since I got my BFP. I thought I had had my last chance last year at my age. In my scan this morning I had a full on panic attack when I walked in the room. But I saw a heartbeat so I need to try to relax and enjoy it a bit.

I would love to join the Facebook group @YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch I think it's you running it? My last MN FB group was amazing and truly kept me sane!

I'm not sure of my DD so I'll go with 1st Feb until I have more accuracy lol!

RootsHere · 08/06/2022 13:22

@alvaryder welcome! I’m also between 31st Jan/1st Feb but thought I’d rather join the Feb group, the ladies here are so lovely and also will hopefully mean I won’t have to wait a whole month watching women have babies while I’m miserably pregnant and likely overdue into early Feb πŸ˜‚πŸ€ž

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 13:30

@RootsHere hah exactly! They're all on week 9 and I'm just here clinging on to my 6 weeks and crossing my legs. It's just a different stage!

MamaSJ15 · 08/06/2022 13:32

@Peonies94 ah right okay. What kind of pain were you having? I'm thinking that could be a possibility for me, although the pain has stopped thankfully. I can't wait for my scan now. Just some reassurance would be amazing!

Hello @alvaryder hope you're doing well! I think my due date would be 2nd Feb so early on too 😊 but I'm hoping my scan on Friday will give me a better idea.

Peonies94 · 08/06/2022 13:58

@MamaSJ15 so it was stomach pain to the right of my stomach! I was bent over in agony, unable to keep any leggings or anything to touch my stomach! I was fainting as well with it! Hope your okay! Best of luck☺️

MamaSJ15 · 08/06/2022 13:59

@Peonies94 oh wow, mines not that bad, I've just had really bad cramping to my left side but it has calmed down a lot now. I hope you don't get that again!

Peonies94 · 08/06/2022 14:07

@MamaSJ15 aww I hope your okay too! Take care of yourself ☺️

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 14:14

@Peonies94 is it a corpus luteum cyst? Apparently they pump lots of lovely progesterone into our system and help keep pregnancy viable. I've had one before, felt like sharp ovulation pain.

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 14:18

@MamaSJ15 good luck for Friday. Hope you get lots of reassuring news.
I had my scan today and honestly I'm still on edge. I'm now fixated that they have dated my pregnancy just under a week behind and something could be wrong.

I know I was away day 13-15 of my cycle and didn't BD until about day 17-18 so definitely ovulated late. But still... my brain won't switch off and I'm burning a hole in google!
I hate this trimester πŸ˜‚

LiveLaughL0ve · 08/06/2022 14:44

@Peonies94 @alvaryder congrats on your early scans. It must be such a relief to see that everything is in the right place and progressing well. ☺️
It’s hard not to Google every symptom and think the worst. I’m trying to limit myself to one Google a day! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Peonies94 · 08/06/2022 15:06

@alvaryder no idea! They didn’t say!

@alvaryder aww did you have an internal or external? Try not to worry too much, I know it’s easier said than done but I’ve heard lots of people have scans and be dated behind! I don’t think early scans are rhst accurate at dating! Sending love though, it’s so tough isn’t it❀️!

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 15:28

@Peonies94 ugh it's all so stressful at this point.
I wish we could just switch our brains off for this trimester.

Peonies94 · 08/06/2022 15:32

@alvaryder tell me about it! Go to sleep until 12 weeks would be perfect please!!

I had my booking in appointment today, though it wasn’t really the official booking in. I have been booked back in for a home appointment in July, when I’ll be 10 weeks! They just took general details, blood pressure and height/weight!

roarfeckingroarr · 08/06/2022 18:22

I had a scan today. It was mega stressful.

Sonographer found the sac but no baby. Did an internal scan and found baby - with a heartbeat ❀️but smaller than should be given date of my last period. They reckon I'm 5+5 - 6w) due to heartbeat) and I need to book again for two weeks time to do a proper dating scan.

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 18:43

@roarfeckingroarr ah these early scans sometimes almost create more stress don't they. What do you have your dates at? Did they measure the baby? I'm sure it will all be absolutely fine. ❀️
I've had 6 days knocked off what I thought I was, but I for sure ovulated late (I know when I had sex lol). So I'm trying not to spiral. It's so common to ovulate a few days late! We aren't robots after all xxx

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 18:44

@Peonies94 did you have to go in?

MamaSJ15 · 08/06/2022 19:37

Okay I'm driving myself crazy here, I had a random pain at the top of my arm and now I'm panicking that it's actually classed as my shoulder and it's something do with ectopic pregnancy. Has anyone had any experience with ectopic? I'm probably stressing myself out for no reason but not sure if I should call NHS with the pains I was having a few days ago.

Kmb23 · 08/06/2022 19:43

Hey guys! Did my test this morning after getting home from a night flight from holiday! Was convinced I was going to come on while mid air! This will be my seccond my boy has just turned one in jan and baby 2 is due 15th feb!
@roarfeckingroarr my sister had the same thing happen to her and all was well, you probably ovulated late!
@YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch I’d love to join the Facebook page but I deleted my profile a while back now πŸ˜… is there a WhatsApp group set up? Or would anyone be interested in joining if I made one?

Maple90 · 08/06/2022 19:53

Hello!

i got my BFP on Monday, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster as I was overdue by a week before I got a positive test. With my son, I tested positive before I’d missed a period! Then today I’ve had some slight spotting when I wiped after going to the loo, again, stressful! But I’m trying to remain calm for the time being.

anyway, I’d love to join the Facebook group if that’s okay?

alvaryder · 08/06/2022 19:54

@MamaSJ15 I had side pain from what was my ovulation cyst. They scanned me at the EPU the next day to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. Give them a call tomorrow if just to put your mind at rest x

Peonies94 · 08/06/2022 20:07

@roarfeckingroarr aww I’m sorry it was really stressful for you! Hopefully it will be okay in your next scan! I’ve heard this happen to others and still work out okay! 🀞

@alvaryder yes I went in. I was in about 20 minutes. I met the midwife and got given a pack to fill in, ready for my next appointment at 10 weeks (10 week one will be at my home)!

@MamaSJ15 I had an ectopic nearly 7 years ago now. I didn't get a positive test until later on and I had random bleeding but no pain until it started to rupture, then it was honestly the most excruciating pain that came out of nowhere. I didn't really have any symptoms either. I think in my gut I knew something was wrong.
