Hey first time posting on here, I hope everyone's getting on OK.
I've got a little question but really don't know where to turn. So I have found out I'm pregnant with twins, the problem is one is showing a week behind the other with a slightly slower heartbeat. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this before and had a successful outcome. She has said there is a chance they were actually conceived at different times as I ovulate twice a month.

Sorry for rambling on x

SLee21 · 19/06/2022 14:21

@Georgia31 seems like it’s quite specific so unlikely anyone here will have experience in that but I’m sure if you search it on mumsnet in general there will be someone who has spoken about it before! Fingers crossed for you 🀞🏻 x

PoleFairy · 20/06/2022 09:34

How is everyone doing? I am 8+5 and feeling incredibly anxious. I've not really had any symptoms at all (which sounds lovely I know but Ive found it very anxiety inducing). I am sure if I didn't know my cycle and was an oblivious teen I would have NO idea I was pregnant.

The only symptom I've had is slightly tender boobs that are heavier and a bit fuller and very veiny. Since a few days ago the tenderness has been diminishing and now it's gone. They are still fuller and veiny but I'm worried Ive had a MMC.

I'm abroad so there isn't much I can do at the moment but sit and panic. I did have a scan at 6+2 and there was a healthy, viable pregnancy with a heartbeat but I feel very very worried.

Run38 · 20/06/2022 10:44

Try not to worry but I know it's hard. This is my third baby and I haven't had any symptoms except breast tenderness and exhaustion. My breast tenderness went for about a week and then came back with a vengeance so it's probably just the ups and downs of hormones. Are you due back soon so that you can speak to someone for reassurance? I sometimes feel like you do but I'm trying not to think roo much about it. I've known friends who had zero symptoms in their pregnancies so each one is different. Sending a big hug.

SLee21 · 20/06/2022 11:27

I’m 8+4 today and just got my scan letter through for 4 weeks time! This time just drags!
I know exactly what you mean about anxiety. I’ve had quite a few symptoms but I have already experienced them coming and going and you naturally question everything. I think I’m going to have a private scan this weekend just to keep my mind at rest, maybe that will help?
Just try not to panic until you have a real reason to, easier said than done but it will make it a bit more easy to get through and hopefully feel a bit quicker!

PoleFairy · 20/06/2022 11:46

Thanks @Run38 im not back for another 10 days but will be booking a private scan for the day after I'm back. The other symptom I suppose I've had is constipation but this eased up yesterday and has gone today. I have sat and given myself a talking to though and I do have frequent urination as a symptom still going strong so I'm hoping that's a good sign. We're talking I'm up 6 times in the night and every half hour in the day (although I'm drinking a lot as its very hot here)

Jaaxe · 22/06/2022 09:40

Hi all, sorry i’m jumping ship to the December 2022 group. Had my 12 week scan yesterday and due date been moved to 28th December (period date had put me at 1st Jan) so 13 weeks today. I will also be having a planned csection around 38 weeks so feels right to leave this group. Hope you all have happy healthy pregnancies xxx

Angelchops30 · 24/06/2022 14:51

Hey can I join you guys? I'm 11+2 due 11/1/23 had a dating scan today, so it's all very exciting to see little peanut wiggling around all happy and healthy
Hope your all feeling ok and not suffering to much with sickness etc

PoleFairy · 25/06/2022 13:08

Random symptom but has anyone totally gone off meals? Other than slightly sore boobs some days and bigger, veinier boobs I've had no symptoms yet but I simply cannot face meals now. I don't feel sick, I'm just stuffed to the brim in 2 bites. I would happily have fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and then just snack on crisps, fruit and biscuits all day and not eat another meal, just graze. Meals feel impossible. Something is put in front of me and it is torture stuffing anything after the first few mouthfuls in as I am stuffed and it's like chewing cardboard

I have more of a problem with what I fancy to eat, not so much the actual eating! It will come to dinner time and my husband will suggest something and a lot of the time i turn down his suggestions πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ I've definitely got a different appetite and get full quicker. All though I cannot stop snacking that could be a reason why I get full quicker 😜 πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ€£

Welcome @Angelchops30 and congratulations on your pregnancy 😍 I'll be 10 weeks on Wednesday and have my 12 week scan in 2 weeks! How are you feeling with your pregnancy? ❀️

SLee21 · 25/06/2022 19:31

Congratulations @Jaaxe that’s wonderful 😍
And welcome to the group @Angelchops30 so glad everything is going well for you!
@PoleFairy @Mamitobe2023 I have had the same for a few weeks now, not being able to eat full meals and choosing from a very small list of things I actually want to eat 🀣 I have to say it has started to ease over the last few days and I’ve been able to stomach bigger portions and more variety. Initially worried but had a private scan today, measuring 9+4 and all going well so far 🀞🏻

Hi ladies, I’m a bit late to the party having just signed up on here… I’m due 31/01/23 and this is my first pregnancy.
We haven’t really spread the news yet being 8+5, and I find myself with a million questions and a ton of doubts.
Can I ask you all about first trimester symptoms, specifically exhaustion?? It’s hitting me so hard, some days I can barely function or go up the stairs, and I’m usually a pretty active/healthy person when it comes to exercise, but I haven’t been able to even do any yoga for the past month or so… Any advice welcome!!! ❀️
Sorry for the long post. xx

Angelchops30 · 25/06/2022 23:29

@SLee21 & @Mamitobe2023, Thankyou for your welcome I've had the tiredness like an afternoon nap is an absolute must or the rest of the day doesn't really work for me and emotional mood swings! one minute I'm fine then I'm crying for no real reason, my poor partner has been amazing though and never has he pointed out that I'm being completely irrational even though I'm fully aware that I am. And of course the sickness!!
We've been wanting this pregnancy for the last 3 years so I feel incredibly lucky to be feeling this crappy in a funny sort of way

SLee21 · 26/06/2022 09:18

@anne617 @Angelchops30 I think everyone has slightly different symptoms but yeah it’s completely normal to be overly tired and emotional and nauseous! My midwife said just to ride the wave during the first trimester, usually you start to feel much better in the second. I think a lot of us tend to have this idea in our heads of what we’ll be like when we’re pregnant but when it actually happens, most of us are just trying to get through each day 🀣

Angelchops30 · 26/06/2022 10:39

@SLee21 last time I was pregnant I had no idea and didn't find out until I was 7.5 months!! I had 6 weeks from finding out to giving birth, this time completely different. I've been enjoying the little things I didn't get to enjoy last time like booking in appointments 12 week scans we'll all of it really

SLee21 · 26/06/2022 11:01

@Angelchops30 that’s mad! I’ve only heard a couple of stories like that before and it blows my mind, I can’t imagine πŸ™ˆ in some ways I think that’s sort of better… the earlier you know the more you worry about everything 🀣

L0ts · 26/06/2022 14:27

Hi ladies little update from me. Had my early scan last Friday and was surprised to be put forward by 5 days to 10 weeks and to have such a clear image of baby!

As for symptoms my sickness has reduced A LOT! Although I do still have massive aversions to foods and I so want a cup of tea but the thought makes me feel so sick 😩Also I am the same in terms of tiredness, it hits me like a ton of bricks around midday and most days I just HAVE to nap!

Hope everybody is okay! xx

@SLee21 I had just turned 18 at the time and it was frightening and exciting and every other emotion known to man, would I change it not in a million years! This time round though I'm a lot older in a much better relationship and am enjoying being pregnant and having a loving partner and family to share it with. Two very different experiences for sure

Angelchops30 · 26/06/2022 16:21

@L0ts I feel like without a nap in the day even just a little one my emotions get harder to control and I'm just more touchy which totally isn't me, normally I'm so easy going. Im also super hungry at the moment Cake

Hello! I'm also due 25th January! It’s my first and I’m very overwhelmed/nervous/excited/terrified that something will go wrong. How are you feeling?

How are you getting on? 😊❀️

PorridgeArchitect · 28/06/2022 16:39

Hello, would you mind if I joined too? I’m 10 weeks and due 21/01/23 with our rainbow baby 🌈

I had a scan at around 8 weeks and saw a heartbeat (big milestone for us!) but starting to dread the 12 week scan next week.

Looking forward to being on this journey with you all xx

Angelchops30 · 28/06/2022 16:53

@PorridgeArchitect welcome!! I'm 12weeks tomorrow, had a scan on Friday which was amazing. I'm keeping all fingers crossed that your scan goes well for you, a heartbeat at 8 weeks must have been a huge relief for you
